Have owned this BBQ now for 12 months having upgraded from the Q220.
Initially had a problem with the grill plates not sitting correctly and falling in to the BBQ. Weber promptly sent a new set of grill plates however same thing happened. It was the base itself and this time a serviceman came out and promptly replaced the whole BBQ base.
The after sales service and is excellent and since this rocky start I have had no problems at all and we use it it at least 3 times a week.
It is quick to heat up with the extra burner and I am praised every time by the Bride telling me what a great cook I am.
Highly recommend this as the natural upgrade path from the smaller Q Series as the family grows.

Nice and compact and much better than the old one we had. A good BBQ unit to have if you want to keep it on your verandah or patio next to your table and it easy to use and very easy to maintain and keep clean, very well recommended .

This BBQ is compact and has low usage on gas so you save more on gas.
The steaks come out perfect overtime and have loved using this BBQ.I have also baked/Roasted on the Webber also easy to clean and store away in garage.

Has a nice smokey flavour on food as it has the lid placed down as the food is being cooked.

This BBQ looks great on my patio and isn't an eye sore. It cooks well and is easy to use. It came with 2 grill plates instead of one grill plate and a flat plate. Im not sure if this was a mistake, but I will be going to get a flat plate so I can cook onions without them falling through the grill plate. Apart from that I have no other complaints about this stylish BBQ.

I used my brothers weber q and found it to be so good i got one too. cooks evenly for a gas BBQ. i found most gas BBQ regardless of price /size always have a cold or hot spot and not even.Build quality is fine. . I rate this Weber and use it a lot . Very pleased .

Absolutely wonderful to cook roasts, steaks and just about everything. Cooks evenly and better than using the oven. I was at a friends place and couldn't believe has quickly it took to cook and clean. So went to BBQs Galore and bought the Weber Family Q and couldn't be happier.

We've had our Weber for a few years now. I used to cook loads of meat in it and it did a beautiful smokey flavored roast.
Since then, we have become vegetarian and don't use it for the sole purpose of cooking up meat - I use it for cooking cakes, pizzas, it makes amazing sourdough, too. I basically use it as an oven! It cooks better and far more evenly than our inside oven that has 'hot spots'.
I actually prefer using the Weber as an oven.
Expensive but worth it.

Simply the best BBQ on the market, had never been interested until one was purchased for me. Now we never have a reason to use our oven. Easy to clean and wheel out when needed. Purchase the pizza stone kit with it for the best pizzas around. Looking at getting a BBQ for summer camping.

My husband used to burn either sausages or meat in our old bbq, but since we got the Webber.he honestly hasn't burnt anything. It's easy to use, he warms it up, put on the meat etc and closes the lid for a bit then turns everything over and we have the perfect bbq.
Cleaning is easy during heat up and he's done in minutes.

I received my Webber as a retirement present and thanks to it I am now regarded as a great cook, particularly roasts and pizza . The convection action of the Webber along with a probing thermometer results in fantastic roast meats. The optional pizza stone makes for the best pizza's . Great piece of equipment ....and my wife Ioves it as well .,, more than happy for me to cook after all these years

We are very satisfied with the cooking results. Great for roasts and pizza. The BBQ is easy to use and clean. The stand was surprisingly 'cheap' looking/feeling and a little hard to maneuver ... This was disappointing. But overall a good unit. Compact enough to sit on our small deck too.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I use this BBQ whenever I can, its so easy to use and clean. The food tastes great and cooks in not time flat. What ever you would cook in an oven can be cooked on the Weber Q series.

Weber has an awesome service reputation and the warranty lasts for years. I love these BBQ's so much that I also bought a Baby Q to take away.

You need to learn how to use the BBQ again when you buy one of these. Its all about circulating heat rather than direct and they sell you some additional bits for this. The Convection Trays and the Trivett. With these in place you can cook a xmas turkey brilliantly saving oven for other things.

I cook steaks and sausages this way now and the process keeps them really moist.

Starter is fantastic works every time and the temp control (I have the temp gauge) from the two burner set is brilliant. Heats up real quick as well

Also top temp 250 - 300 deg C is great for pizza and for baked chips

After reading reviews for months I decided to buy the Weber Q Family. It is absolutely brilliant and cooks the most juicy foods. I'm a crap cook and even I can now cook :-). ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT customer service. I had a user issue which caused severe damage and within 3 days my Weber cooktop and cookbox was replaced free of charge. Highly recommend.

The best BBQ I've ever had. Easy to use and clean. The many different accessories allow for many different cooking techniques. Large roasts easy and delicious. Pizza, bread, scones, cakes, stews, smoked fish and sausages all dead easy and taste fantastic. Cooked 2 roasts side by side at Xmas plus roast veggies. Brilliant. Hardly use the oven in the house which keeps all the heat outside.

This is by far the best bbq that i have ever owned. everything that i have cooked has been amazing. The only downside that i have is that the cover is a terrible design. If it cost $20 i wouldnt care, but at $75 i expect it to work. The clips are poorly design so that in the slightest wind the unhook themselves, the elastic is too long so that it does not require stretching to clip on. I have now secured it with bungy cords, which is very unsightly. Apparently there has only been one other complaint so weber dont think it si a big deal - perhaps they dont live in a windy area!

The cover is the only thing stopping 5 stars
