You can not go wrong with this BBQ.

The best part is the heat is really nicely spread across and the meat cooks really well.

The awesome part is the cleaning. Cleaning is always a challenge with BBQ's as we are always lazy.

But with this one it is a dream.

Bought the Webber family q from good guys for $700 at EOFY sale. This BBQ was easy to assemble but does take 45mins so allow some time. The bbq looks great and cooks evenly. It is annoying that you need to purchase all the accessories i.e. Flat grill plate as it comes with the plates that have vents which smaller pieces of food would fall through e.g onions. Also need to purchase the cover and cleaning brush to ensure it stays well maintained but overall very happy with this purchase.

We bought the extra plate so we have greater flexibility with the BBQ.

Weber know how to make a good, aesthetically pleasing BBQ for the average punter. We are no bbq expert but we are definitely Aussies so a BBQ is a must.

Great attention to detail with the trolley having a spot for the gas cylinder and the spare plate plus hooks for your BBQ utensils.

We got ours at Good Guys. They also beat a competitor price.

Only used a handful of times but it's doing the job nicely.

We're on our second cover (silly us). They clearly only last a year in the outdoors, then start to dry and crack, thus letting rain and moisture in. But isn't that what they're for, to protect from the elements? Not everyone has them under a roof! The Weber itself is great, but hey, they need a new fabric, new producer, for the covers. It's a disgrace to pay so much money for something with so short a life! Not happy!

Had no issues whatsoever with this BBQ. I have the natural gas model so I plug into my home gas supply. Little hard to reach grooves making cleaning easier.
I occasionally get a fat fire but due to the design of the gas burners, they dissipate quickly without scraping off the fat.

Read the reviews and decided to buy one, love it, takes a little getting used to it, but the food is absolutely perfect. Will not buy a normal BBQ again. Quality of the Weber looks to be Ok, (only had it for 2 months), to put it all together was easy, just followed the instruction booklet.

Bought the package from The Goodguys, the cover, an extra hot plate and the stand.
Replacing my Cordon bleu that I only had for 7yrs, that cost me a lot and just fell to pieces.
Great BBQ, easy to put together. Easy to clean. Heats up quickly. 5yr warranty. Hope it lasts 10yrs plus.
I must just improve my cooking now.

I am happy to change the old big BBQ to this one. So happy to use it. This machine is easy to move around and simply to use, the most important thing is easy to clean! Before, the cleaning after BBQ is a nightmare. Because of this new machine, BBQ is number 1 option for our family meeting.

Apart for the terrific taste of anything cooked on my Weber family Q. It's woman friendly assemble. Meaning there are no heavy parts, half the parts are already assembled in the box. EASY to follow instructions. One person can assemble on own. I put mine together in under 30mins. It's the easiest home product l've put together ever and l've put alot of furniture and large items together in my life time.

Day one and we cooked a 2.5kg pork roast and a just over 2.0 kg leg of lamb. All done on a low setting yet cooked a third quicker so saved heaps of gas compared with the old hooded BBQ. Went the extra and purchased a plate so bacon and eggs Sunday went down well.
make sure you read the instruction manual as cooking with the lid down isn't something I would normally do.
It's early days but I'm impressed.

We are currently travelling around in our caravan and we swear by our weber! we don't even need to use our oven or stove in the van we use the weber for everything! So easy to use and our food always tastes so much better with that BBQ flavour! It doesn't take up a lot of room which is important for us travelling. Love it!

this is the second weber q we have owned, the first we carried around australia for 5 years and used it most days, eventually sold at a garage sale. After a while, decided we could not live without a weber and bought the family Q. Great bbq.Even easier to use.

The Weber was a nightmare to assemble but managed to get it done, now I can't figure out how to get the battery in!!! Rang 'Masters' where I purchased it from, the lad wanted to help but couldn't, am now twiddling my thumbs waiting for another person to ring me with the answer!

turned it on and let it heat up for 2-3 minutes and went insideto get the steaks. 2 minutes later the BBQ controls and gas hose and entire right side is on fire an dmelting. Thank GOD my fire extinguisher was near Patio door. BBQ is scrap now... spent 2 days cleaning up the patio and inside house from fire extinguisher Powder....

Gives beautiful pork crackling if you slice skin every cm and dry skin. Light spray of oil then table salt well and rub in. I cook a large pork roast on optional wire rack with biscuit tray under it, after preheating 15 minutes, then for about 3/4 hour to 1 hour on high. Then on medium for 2 hours. Potatoes, onions and pumpkin in large pieces sprayed with oil for the last 1 1/2 hours. Much better than our gas oven. Also cheap beef cuts, blade etc, pot roasts seared in cast iron pot then stock added. Fit tight lid then into weber.. Very tender after 2-21/2 hours. Vegetables added for last half hour. Barbequed meats are all so easy. Keeps the smells and heat out of the kitchen. Great machine.
