Could not have been better. Absolutely fantastic Customer Service.
Recently we had a ceiling collapse as a result of water damage.
As I stated, the service could not have been better.
Assessment was prompt and fair.
Repairs were arranged expediently and were of a high standard.
Reimbursement for damage was treated fairly and promptly.
Absolutely fantastic Customer Service.

Atrocious
Had numerous policies over period of 15 years for various property, vehicles, personal accident and have gradually reduced down to 0 as they were not competitive
Policy increases every year with no logical reason, no reward for multiple policies.
Received heartless letter rejecting cover for one policy because of valid claim history and cancelled our policy.
Clearly a money making exercise and were treated like just a number.
Glad to be done with them.

No service in a service related industry
There are no words to explain the lack of care, compassion and service. I am changing all of my business and personal insurance policies after the last few weeks. What should have been a simple flood claim has become a major stress for our business with 2 weeks down time.

No Service
Have been insured with WFI for years. Have had an arrogant young Area Manager look after our account for the last five years and he has never called or visited. We pay a significant amount (5 figures), and we can't even get him to call back. Just had a claim and it took them over 6 weeks to finalise a simple claim, whilst leaving various messages on our Area Managers phone, with no response. Now on the hunt for a new insurer in the Bendigo area

I'm confused by the poor reviews
I had a bit of an accident today and thought I would google my insurer, WFI. I honestly couldn't believe the crap reviews that are on line. I have been with WFI for about 25 years and being a bit of a Wally have made a number of claims. In every instance whether it be my kids having a stack,my market umbrella getting demolished in a storm, my mother in laws house same as previous WFI have been prompt with payment and always happy to help.

Horrible Disgraceful Insurance Company
Absolutely horrible!
Placed in a claim almost 2 months ago for a veranda leakage and they just got back to me now telling me that they don't cover situation like those. That we need to call a matience person to look at it further which means we need to invest our own money thousands of dollars to fix the veranda. The person that came to do the report needs to go back to school and actually learn about building because the report was a disgrace & appaling. So disappointed. You've just lost a customer.

Disgusting, unprofessional and deceptive
I was injured at work and the company was covered by wesfarmers. I found the whole process the most hideous ordeal. I suffered from nerve damage and a torn meniscus. I opted to try and avoid surgery and have been seeking only treatment for the nerve pain which they have now refused to admit was a direct cause of the accident. plaining that the pain was worse than ever and had gone to the GP. I insisted on a new case officer and once I got one she was instantly dismissive and went straight in to get a final medical and close my case. Got robbed and now still waiting on payout from WFI - 3 months on - so feeling robbed again
No Customer support - no call backs no nothing from the day we rang about our breakin - CL Ref: 8312316 - we have run after them.
Guess you never know how good or BAD an insurance company are until you make a claim.
We had to close our holiday rental as can't rent it without appliances etc.
Go elsewhere please and save yourself the hassle with these guys. No call backs, no updates, assessor useless and out of 70 items only 2 were right. We had sent a spreadsheet of everything, doing their job for them and they still go it wrong.
Police arrested and charge thief after finger print come back, court to deal with him. SO can't understand why the WFI haven't dealt with this.

Appalling company to deal with
I was hit by someone insured by wfi and they accepted liability and that they were totally at fault. Put a claim through that day the it took 2 weeks for them to get my vehicle to a repairer, took 5 days for them to assess and call it a write off. It's now been 2.5 weeks and still haven't compensated me with $2800 compensation for the damage. Everyday I call and they say they are waiting for a final fee report from the assessor. Terrible-Bunch of thieves
Claim No. 3610010.
One on their client caused damage to my car and he accepted the liability. He paid the access to WFI and he also gave me his claim number. Next day when I rang WFI to find out about their repairer to take my car for repair they told me that I'm the one who is responsible for that damage and they also lied (WFI employee: [name removed]) that I had also accepted the liability over the phone few days ago. After getting robbed I feel my insurance company has also robbed me
I have insured with WFI for 50 years paying a premiums around 30000 per year I have been robbed and doors to my shed have been damaged my claim is for 15 grand. I have been waiting for 9 months to get my account settled. I will be employing a lawyer to get my claim settled. It seems they are going broke I smell smoke.

Farm Claim
Month later still waiting, have everything they need two weeks ago still no payout. Everytime we ring you say only have to sign the paperwork, don't take two weeks to sign a piece of paper. Think will changed insurance campany any other insurance all done in two weeks not wfi not happy why is it taking so long. You take our money straight away but you take forever to pay.

Very very terrible insaurance
Very -2 terrible insaurance .I m still waiting for my claim resolved wen other party is at fault wen I complaint y u guys delaying they told me they are allowed to take 4 months for case resolving.thats not fair at all I will give -0 out of 10 and will never recommend this insaurance

I had an accident in an area which is covered by Westfarmers insurance. I can't decide to deal direct or through a lawyer. Advice please?

I suggest go through lawyer, as westfarmer people are very cunning. They even threaten me last time "You can take us to court but remember you will waste your money and we will win because we have the best lawyer" even FOS financial ombudsmen can't help us. They prefer to pay the fees to the lawyer than pay to fix our car. In result we have to fix our car that cost us $3000 as literally their repairer and tow company wreck our car while their repair it, and the do half job, and unsafe to drive. please please please becareful with this cunning company and their staff, because we don't want our bad experience happen to other people.
