Good size for 2 or 3 people
I've had this fridge for a couple of months now. It works great, keeps the temperature even, vegetables stay fresh in the crisper. I wasn't sure about the door configuration when I bought it, but it's worked out well. It is adjustable, you can take sections out and move them around. Shelves are great, easy to clean, very easy to see where everything is in the fridge. It is a little bit louder than our old fridge, but that's something you quickly get used to and don't notice after a short while.

Noisy operation
Overall like the product except it is very noisy. The noise is constant, unless you open the fridge door. It then stops but restarts when you close the door. The noise can be heard over the tv and is becoming annoying. I was going to report it as a fault but can see from other reviews that the noise is normal.

Love my fridge
This is an a,a Ing fridge. Large enough for a family of three. Works perfectly. Bottom has draws, easy to manovuer and fits a bit of food.
The top has so many shelves, adjustable, bottle cooling shelf too. It's fab, bottles get chilled in 30 minutes.
I love it.

I am very happy with my fridge :)
I bought it second hand for temporary use only. And surprisingly I found it better then my Miele. The fridge is quiet and even temperature inside. Can't complain so far. The only thing I would change is to increase volume of space for vegetables, which takes more space than the fridge offers.

Far too noisy!
I liked the appearance of this fridge, the layout and the bottom freezer, it fitted perfectly in the space in my apartment BUT it is the noisiest fridge I have ever had. Electrolux came out and told me it was a normal sound.
The compressor comes on consistently and I don't believe it is normal. I can hear it from every room! I am going back to Good Guys to discuss my options. Not happy at all with this purchase now.

Good fridge, a bit loud
Recently bought this a couple of months ago from the good guys. It had lots of great storage, love the adjustable shelving on the door. The vegetable crisper has flexible separator that allows you to adjust as needed. Love the freezer drawers and the freezer capacity is bigger than other fridge in its size.

Pretty much perfect
I've only had this fridge for a few weeks, so this is an early report:
I read reports from others on Product Review before this purchase. It's a great size for me and my cat. It's the first bottom mount I've had, and I like the convenience of the fridge at the top. I'm still getting used to drawers in the freezer, but am sure I will. The shelves in a top mount I found easier to use.
Others have mentioned running noise, but I don't find it at all noisy, although it is kept in a kitchen which is a separate room. There are of course noise...Read more
s when switching to defrost; etc. running noise is negligible. I've had no problem with getting ice out of the trays; it's not a problem as some indicated. The fridge also has space for 12 eggs; one previous report mentioned only 10. The door seal can require some effort to open at times. My previous fridge was also a Westinghouse, although a top mount. It was over 15 years old, and this new fridge is claimed to be twice as economical to run; time will tell. I love the interior LED light show... excellent!Similar opinion? Brilliant Fridge, excellent performance!
Since purchasing this fridge mid last year, it has maintained a perfect temperature, it keeps the food moist, is very quite and never needs adjustment. It has a great ice maker and the freezer is excellent too. In all it is a perfect fridge for a small family or an area where a bigger fridge may not fit.

Very happy.
With flexible door shelves, makes it easy to arrange large and small items. Keeps good temperature, in hot or cool conditions, and is certainly quieter than my last fridge. I would recommend to anyone. Also has anti spill shelves, which are easily removed and easy to clean. Thank you Westinghouse.

Good Fridge
This is my third time I've purchased another Westinghouse Fridge due to their good reputation. Although, I've noticed that the older models I've had over the years, had more spacious compartments and loved the solid stainless steel racks. It took me little while to get used to the glass shelves. Otherwise, so far, I'm happy with it and hope this fridge will serve me just as good as the older ones I've had for 17 years.

Can't live without it.
I am happy to say with the summer months as hot as it was and the number of people my home, I had no problems with the food and drinks staying nice and cool. I'm very happy to say that the fridge, and freezer are not at all noisy. The only thing that is a bit of a problem is that my family are not to good at keeping the fridge free of their messy hands. But the rest is a great deal easier than my old one.

Fridge and freezer are perfect size for us and great led lighting
Top shelving set up. Ease of set up for tall and short items
Clean lines inside for ease of cleaning
Full illumination. No dark spots. The l.e.d lighting is fantastic.
Fits a standard kitchen single door width fridge compartment beautifully
Looks great, runs well. Typical Westinghouse quality, been around forever.

Service is terrible
Fridge is running almost constantly, the top of the door where the seal is was warped ( fixed now) can't use the veges crisper unless I want to freeze something, freezer has ice hangin off it. 5 hours after the repair man leaves it starts beeping again and the light panel inside flashes. I can only get the repair man on a Thursday so now it's been 3 weeks. Today is Thursday I have a previous medical appointment this afternoon and although I mentioned this last Friday when I rang I am still number 6 on the list which probably means he'll be here at midday. This fridge was purchased March 2016. It is the worst fridge I have ever owned in the past 50 years.

Great medium size fridge/freezer.
Maintains temperature very well and the seals on the doors are brilliant. A bit limited with no real place to place small goods other than the crisper section. Plenty of shelf space but unusual that will not hold a dozen eggs.
Freezer section is also a bit small and drawers have no real runners

Good overall
Had this fridge for a couple of moths now. Happy with it overall. Plenty of shelf space on each shelf, all tall jars and bottles fit on each shelf and door space is more than enough. Runs quietly, we hardly notice it.
Door seems to dent fairly easily but not a big issue overall. The fridge is quite tall compared to other brands of a similar capacity.
Overall very satisfied.

Questions & Answers
Daveasked
I bought the WBE4500WA in June 2016. I had no problems until about 10 days ago. The fridge compartment got warm. I called a local repair person. He took out the plate at the back of the freezer and used a heat gun to melt the ice on the coil - about one third of the coil was iced up. He said it could happen again in a few days or it might not happen again for a year. Six days later the fridge compartment was warm again. We took off the plate at the back of the freezer and melted the ice with a hairdryer. Fridge cooled down again. The repair person said that it could be any one of a number of things and he could change them all one by one but despite this the problem could still recur.
So it looks as if we'll have to buy another fridge as there is no point paying for repairs if the problem may not be fixed. It won't be a Westinghouse after this experience.
I think it is quite ridiculous that a fridge should fail so soon. Our neighbours also had problems with Westinghouse fridges - had 2 or 3 that had problems soon after purchase and ended up buying another brand.
We bought our first fridge-freezer in 1981 - a Kelvinator. We had it for 17 years and it was still working fine. We only changed it because we were moving and my husband thought that the move might affect the fridge so we got rid of it. Then we had just a small bar fridge for about 4 to 6 years - no problems. In the early 2000s we bought a second hand Westinghouse from friends who were moving. We had no problems with it at all. We only got rid of it because I have back and hip problems and I wanted a bottom mount fridge. We gave the old Westinghouse to a local op shop.
