Perfect!
This was an upgrade option with my builder and originally I chose it because it looks good but it is so much bigger inside than my last 900 oven and is so quiet! It heats up really quickly and the front panel is really easy to navigate. Except the clock, the time was set by the builder and I’ve tried to change it and even with the manual I’m still not sure! But still a great oven

Just what I always wanted.
It's been almost three years since we've had this oven and after more than ten years of mucking around with fancy and expensive Smeg appliances that came with the house I couldn't wait to swap them for a freestanding cooker. I went with this one because it has the largest oven capacity and the arrangement of the burners {wok in the middle esp} ticked my boxes. With a household of eight people plus being a keen baker this wasn't a luxury but very necessary.
The one and only downside has been that a couple of the burners can sometimes be trick...Read more
y to ignite, and it's only when we pull the knob out to make sure that it's all clean and looks ok then put the knob back on that it will work. The flame on one burner also out of nowhere became uneven and needed adjusting, and one burner needed the little ignition pin replaced while less than a year old. It was unexpected but handled easily and with no fuss. All up super happy with this model & would recommend it without any hesitation.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

So far... so good.
We replaced a much older model of the same. This new oven has two fans in the oven for more even cooking. Used it to cook pizza, cake and other things, works just like an oven should and get even coverage.
The buttons and top including metal to side pots etc on are all good quality. I like the look of it, and has a storage area for long pans etc under the oven built in.
I was disappointed that the rear 'splash guard' that sticks up is only brushed stainless on the side facing the oven, ours is in an island. (The other side is just shiney).

Happy with oven
What a great oven it works well so far the look is elegant, strong and expensive looking, it heats up really quickly. I feel that it cooks well and even throughout the whole oven. Big enough to cook for a big party. I feel it is quite easy to clean.

Cool touch door is great
Fantastic oven.We bought this oven to go in our renovated kitchen as several people we know recommended it.Having small children, the cool touch door was a major selling point for us and it really does stay cool.Cooks really evenly and fast.Huge cooking space that can manage three courses all at once, no problem.

Happy with my purchase so far
Oven works well so far. Design of knobs is silly and you need to bend down to see what setting, but other than that all ok. Heats up quickly. cooks fairly evenly but not perfect (but yet to see an oven that was any better). really like the grill which works well a lot better than old Technika. Ring around different stores when you purchase, I got $150 less from a shop further away with free delivery.

We love cooking in our oven. As we have installed solar . we prefer to use in day time to avoid power bill shock. It is big and spacious. heats very fast even temperature my wife loves it. We received this product with the new house from builder. Its a reliable product using for more than 8 months and no issue with it

Plastic door, dries out all the food with 2 fans and poor quality floor base!
Purchased one for a new kitchen renovation and this stove is absolutely poor. Plastic door frame has already cracked in places, everything cooks well but the twin fan dries everything too fast, all my meat has to be cooked on convection. The main issue I had here was the base of the oven looks like a proper kicker is in place but its a thin piece of metal. This has been dented upon installation by the smallest push!

Great Oven/Cooktop, just what we wanted.
When my Smeg oven cook/top was coming to its end of it life we looked for a replacement and we were not disappointed in this Westinghouse Oven/Cooktop because it is well made, has a big oven capacity, Cooks well, is great value. I would have no problems buying another Westinghouse oven again.

This is a great unit
This unit is so easy to use and cooks perfectly. One of the best features is the oven door which is tripled layer of glass that comes apart just by pushing two catches. oven door is cool to touch whilst cooking.
Contrary to other reports the cooktop does have a simmer setting maybe "So disappointed" should read the Manuel before using the appliance.

Great oven
I love my Westinghouse. It is a fantastic freestanding oven at a great price. I looked at a lot of ovens but chose this one as I loved the look of it, it was a great price and loved that it was an Australian company.
Only thing I don't like is that my shelve have bowed a little bit in the middle and when I bake numerous cakes at once ( I am a cake decorator) the tops can be slightly uneven and angled due to the slope on the shelves

Amazing for the price
For what it's priced at, and the fact that it's made in Australia, this oven is seriously good value. According to other reviews the stovetop is not that great, but honestly I haven't had any issues with it and all of our meals have come out great.
The oven capacity is also way bigger than most other ovens of this size.
Pros
Great stovetop layout makes good use of space
Large capacity oven
Good price

So disappointed
Loved my stove and oven, looks good, oven is great, but who designed a stovetop that can't be set to simmer??? Can't be anyone that ever cooks. I am so disappointed as I looked at other brands but thought Westinghouse was a better brand, better quality, so paid the extra dollars for that. I've found I can turn the dial up instead of down to simmer, but what is the point of lo if the flame doesn't actually gets low?? Just because of this design flaw I wouldn't recommend anyone getting a Westinghouse Stove

disappointment
great oven, gas cook top is great apart from the wok burner lacks good heat, now having issues with the clock loosing time which makes cooking with the timer useless. disappointed as the oven isnt that old. Dont like that you have to keep pressing the temperature knob in to light the burner, issue being the electronic lighter continues to spark until the button is released.

What fuel does it use?
Suniitopazasked
My oven is a little older, it is the WFE914SA (not B). A patch of the enamel on the bottom of the oven has worn off. Is the oven safe to use? Can the bottom of the oven be lines with aluminium foil? Many thanks!

Have just got this oven came with our new house. When the fan oven is on there is a lot of air coming out the top, just wondering if this is normal? Also seems to take longer to cook a leg of lamb than in the smaller oven.

Doesn’t happen with ours. But it takes FOREVER to heat up.
this is the way it ventilates I think.
