Trouble Closing Door
My dishwasher is a couple of months old. When it's loaded ready for a wash, I often have trouble closing the door. I can't see where there's anything sticking out and often try stacking things in different places with NO success and then I eventually seem to get it right. The problem is that I can't identify why it won't close in the first place and I can't figure out what has changed to allow the door to close. Sometimes it's taking me up to a dozen times to sort it out!!! Does anyone else have this problem and have they figured out what's causing it, please???

I get this occasionally, but always turns out the top shelf isn't 100% right. Try taking the shelves out altogether and see how it goes. If all good, then maybe try the top shelf on the other height.

Did you got this fixed?

Our machine is not quite level and so the door does not line up exactly with the opening. We just push the door on the side to close it easily. We haven't yet bothered to level it. Maybe you have a similar but more serious level issue.

Can I disconnect the heating elements and just have the dishwasher use the hot water......my reason is ...the dishwasher is on a houseboat and we run our power with an inverter or generator...but once it gets to drying dishes the power fails.
Our previous dishwasher was a dishlex and the electrician disconnected the heating element and it worked fine for 16 years.

Hi Minyaka . You could try to remove the wiring to the heater element (the grey box). Though my guess is it may throw an error message about a fault with the heater element then - probably F6 (faulty heater sensor)

It was actually an F8 fault. We purchased the heating element thingo ourselves from a dishwasher spare parts place and installed it. (hubby is handy, luckily).

We have just purchased a WSF6608 Dishwasher. We have not been able to use it as every time we’d turn it on it comes up with the F5 error. Very disappointed. This is despite checking every hose and making sure of everything it says in the manual. Help please?

I have been very disappointed with my dishwasher not drying and have spoken to Electrolux twice and had a serviceman come out once. After the serviceman pulled a small piece of plastic (from packaging apparently) from the filter, the problem still has continued. Unfortunately organising repairs is difficult with my work situation and I had to cancel the next once. I have now realised that the rinse aid dispenser which has been filled once only since installing in January is still full. I can only assume there is a problem with the dispenser. Has anyone else had this problem? I have tried setting adjuster at different settings between 1 & 10 over the last couple of months and that doesn’t seem to make a difference. Any feedback would be appreciated otherwise it is back to booking a serviceman and hoping I don’t have to cancel again.
Thanks.

I recently bought a WSF6606 dishwasher. I used the Eco cycle which initially ran as it should for 1.22 minutes. Now suddenly the cycle time has changed to 2.02 minutes. How can I change this back or re-set the machine to get back the proper cycle setting? Thanks you.
