Thanks for that.
I did use the oven for the first time and my tray slides around on it and it also slid towards me and I stopped it with my fingers. I don’t think the shelves are level?
The door looks nearly one Center meter ajar but it is hitting the seal and all the air comes from the door there are so many openings is this the make of the oven?

I Think It Didn't Brown, Because You Used a Bag, As I Have No Problems With Cooking Or Browning In My Oven, as I Don't Use Bags xxx

Recently bought this oven and having trouble working out oven settings. In the manual it will for example give the temperature for a roast but not the setting...with base heat, fan bake, bake/pizza etc it's confusing. What would be recommended setting for a roast chicken and roast veg, in a seperate pan. ...no success so far with browning/crisping potatoes. I'm sure it's just a matter of working it out. Appreciate some help!

I have just removed the door to the oven. It is new and this is the first time that I have done this. I lifted the stirrups and pulled the door out however, I didn’t realise that you had to have the door at 45 degrees when pulling it out. As s result the hinges have sprung back to the closed position and I cannot pull them done again. What should I do?

Yes I had the same thing Happen to Me, as the glass is heavy, once you remove it the doors fly up, You Have To Be Very Careful I found OUT Too, Patience I Used a Cord & wrapped it around the Handle of the Oven, then Attached the other end to the Grill Door Handle then Pulled the oven glass door open, that worked for me, otherwise you need 2 people o do it. Thanks Lexie xxx

I am about to install a 626 S oven and grill. I do not understand the required 20 mm gap required at the bottom rear of the cabinet,. Does that mean leaving the stove proud from the back wall by 20 mm or does it mean I need to cut a ventilation slot 20 mm wide in the back wall of the cupboard?

Hi Lazza,
I have never had this problem with any of the timer settings. My timer always goes off. You may have to get it checked or re read your manual just in case you are missing something. Good luck.

I also never had this problem, as my timer goes off also, make sure you are setting the Cook Time Button, if this does not work, then phone westinghouse

Because it is under one year I would contact the place of purchase as it is still under warranty. Or contact Westinghouse direct.

I have a WVE626S installed recently. Whenever I turn on the upper oven, there's hot air blowing out from the oven at the top of the oven door (above the door handle). The hot air was then heating up the control knobs and the panel.

Is it normal that hot air blowing out from the oven while the it's turned on? Should I get the installer to check the installation? Please advise.

Not really, there should be a ventilating fan that operates as soon as you turn on the controls. This emits air from a gap between the bottom of the control panel at the top and the top of the large oven door. The oven needs fresh air to pull in from somewhere such as a wall cavity. This is keep the controls cool and ventilate the cavity heat that builds up. The fan puts out quite a lot of air, you should be able to feel it blowing on you.

We have just had this oven installed too, and I've only baked one thing so far, and also noticed the panel with the knobs got too hot to touch. Is this something that I need to follow up with the installer or with the manufacturer?
