Monkey could have cut it better
Took my teenage son for a cut yesterday at the Northland store. Explained what we wanted done and received a quote. I left my son in line for the next available "hairdresser" while I ducked to the shop next door. When I returned, his hair was being cut by someone I assumed to be the apprentice. Great chunks of hair were being grabbed and hacked off. I could see my son was close to tears so I intervened and explained what he wanted done. I was waved away. Read morehairdressers what a mullet was (yes, unfortunately my son has one). When I asked for the back to be "textured" he got out the hair drier and blew some hair around. For the price quoted, I would have expected his hair to be styled but the cape was just whipped off and the apprentice announced "done". He never even asked if we were happy. I had to ask him to tidy up some sections. The finished haircut was so awful we had to go to another salon for it to be fixed. My son even asked if he was bleeding because he felt hair had been ripped from his scalp. Luckily I was not charged the full price. I only gave them one star because I cannot submit the review otherwise they would have received zero stars. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Expensive!!
Wow an extra $30 charge for wash and dry (not blow wave) in addition to $40 for the cut. Even my child was charged an extra $30 for wash! Won't be coming back.
Shameful
A young man cut my hair. Asked me to stand up, proceeded to grab my hair and chop it off all in one hit. It was so uneven and so choppy all the way around. I have medium length brown hair (female). When I asked him to stop and do it properly he refused. The other people in the Salon said there was no manager, no refund available and no contact or contact number for the business. They told me young lady your hair is even even though it was Cleary not!

Went to do roots touch up n was told it was $49. However I was charged $89 by the Store manager who said that the blow wave was additional charge! It was not mentioned to me that that was additional charge if I want my hair to blow wave. If I was told it was another additional $40 I Wd never want it. It’s a very unfair way of getting u to pay more. I felt ‘ripped ‘ off n will never go back to this hair saloon. Pls be aware!!!!
