The portable fridge freezer catalogue 28 March. Page12.
What does this fridge run on?? Is it 240 volt, 12 volt or gas??
2 answers
As a long time member you already know they don’t answer here.
Do you mean the one that is reviewed in this site ?
First you plug the fridge in to the 12v socket in your Hybrid car whilst on charge to the 240v socket in your garage which is powered by a coal seam gas turbine with back-up solar power. If this doesn't work, you need to attach an old door key to a kite string, add a connection to charge Lithium batteries, then go fly the kite during an electrical storm. Good-Different !.

I live in Adelaide and am looking at a air roaster/fryer. I believe you had sold some. Wondering if you are going to get more stock in and what price am I looking at. I am very close to your colonaades store. can you help me. thank you.
2 answers
Ask them directly as they don’t reply here, obviously.
Air roasters or air fryers, what ever you want to call them are a complete waste of money. You can use a hooded BBQ the same way or a pot steamer with lid, simply add some oil instead of water.

When did you change the Pork Dumplings? They used to be amazing but tonight we had them and they were very disappointing. The meat doesn’t hold together like it used to and was all watery inside the dumpling. Plus the cabbage that used to be in them can’t be seen but instead I could taste onion.
Please please please go back to the old recipe!

Unfortunately since they don’t respond here my guess is that your question was wasted.

If you can't get it and need some, I'll grab some on my next trip if you need, and send to you. It's never a problem if I'm already there! PM me if you need so I can send a receipt if you need me to get for you. It's a pain that Aldi don't deliver (yet!)

Bought a churros maker following instructions churros wont cook in side can anybody help?

Contact Aldi. Don't expect them to be much help though. They will find every reason to wiggle out of making good on it.
contact Aldi but hold your breath
Everyone should hold their breath, engage their brain cells first, then come to the same conclusion any reasonably educated person would come to. That is, Aldi, just like around 95% of retailers, do not manufacture the products they sell and have no responsibility under Commonwealth law when the product comes with a warranty from the manufacturer or distributer. I.e.: if you purchase an LG TV from Harvey Norman, the warranty is with LG, therefore you chase LG for the repair or technical assistance. This applies even if the product carries the retailers own branding, however the enclosed brochure clearly states whom the manufacturer/distributer is for warranty or technical service. Retailers are only obliged to accept returned products if they don't meet a "fit for purpose", are "dead on arrival" and fail within the warranty period. On this basis, the retailer will provide a refund and they will receive a credit from the manufacturer/distributer.

Is the scampi (frozen) any good?

Elmer provided the totally useless answer of "go in and have a look". Sigh - some people miss the point.
Aldi's Scampi is very good and comes from Denmark. Buy Aussie prawns, similar taste and better value.
Taste buds differ. Why not try them yourself and share so we dont waste any money?

Just bought a fitness machine and plugged in and blew up,I bought a flat pack set of drawers had to replace about three parts had to photograph and email before could get replacements and wait a week for each replacement nightmare, cheap ptoducts are fraught with problems, not high standard, cost 15.00 to bring home & probably more to return do I get reimbursed for this not likely,so disappolnting

Except for the challenging Long sentence my guess is that this is really a review.
If I understand correctly the drawers issue has been resolved but not the machine? If correct just use the standard options of contacting Aldi or the company listed on the equipment if you are looking for genuine resolution.
How on earth did you come up with that answer
1 + 1 = 11 in fred's case

Why is aldi jindurra meat so tough and don't tell me it's the way we cooked it I'm a chef.

Since Aldi dont reply in this Review forum who do you expect will provide a definitive response?
Ummm, If you are a chef, you would know the breed of the beast simply by the grain, fat distribution and marbling. If you are a chef, why would you buy Aldi meat when you can buy restaurant quality meat for less than what Aldi sells for. And finally, as a chef you would know that the toughest meat can be made in to the sweetest and most tender meat simply by cooking it the correct way. Good, different does not mean ignorance !.
I was sceptical at first but no questions asked Aldi is the best value for money. Over the years I have pad a lot for bread Now I have discovered Bakers Life 85% lower carb bread High fibre low GI 50% less sugar and flavoursome. $4.99 but worth every cent. Well done Aldi. You've won me. Thank you

Does Aldi still sell big tins of wood varnish? Need to buy a heap to paint our wooden house. Thanks
4 answers
Why not simply ring and ask them?
Anything other than grocery lines are specials available at certain times of year. Varnish your house ?, if its the exterior of your house, wouldn't you use decking oil. Sure beats scraping and sanding a whole house before application each time.
i saw some in my local store just recently

Dominion party mix - why have they been removed from sale?
2 answers
Why didn't you just contact Aldi for an answer?
I'll give you the long answer........Once upon a time in a land far far away known as Australia, people were friendly and partied all day and all night. In 1997 along came the internet and Australian's stopped partying and decided to sit in front of computer screens for 16 hours per day. By 2010 the lucky country no longer existed and all things real and sociable became obsolete. Retailers tried to retain sales of real, sociable and party related products however, by 2017, retailers realised the battle was over and began phasing out anything that relates to being Australian pre-1997. bye

I just bought Aldi's Bauhn Lightning Headphone Adapter (in stores Sat 19/10/19) and when I plugged it in my iPhone displayed a message that tge unit is not compatible with my iPhone!! What is the point of this product if not to be compatible with an iPhone? Did Aldi/Bauhn even test this product?
5 answers
Has anyone else had a similar experience and resolved it? If so, how?
We were attempting to buy a television - no stock and no interest. I don't know if they are guilty of Bait Advertising - but if they are not the definition needs changing.
Bruza. If you have an iPhone 6 or 7, you will find that the problem is caused by a very well known fault in the iPhone itself, not the Bauhn product.
ian7739. Aldi always states in their advertising that there will be limited stock or not available at all stores for all special item products.

As a diabetic and a busy volunteer I often need a sugar hit and reach for Aldi's Dominion Party Mix lollies because they are such great value. Unfortunately they have disappeared from the shelves and been replaced with The Natural Confectionary Company version at TWICE the price. I am now looking at the fruit DATES as a better value option when I need to raise my sugar levels! Why are pitted dates cheaper than lollies?
2 answers
Surely it just comes down to the cost to grow, harvest, pack, and import dates versus the cost to manufacture and pack sweets?
Most dried fruits are cheaper than manufactured lollies on a per kilo basis and far better for you. Look in Aldi's dried fruit section and there's pineapple, mango, paw paw, dates, sultana's and many more. bye

Feedback on the 2 seater faux leather sofa please
2 answers
Faux means fake. Have you tried finding a real leather two seater on Gumtree? Fake leather may wear down to the gauze it is fabricated on while real leather generally improves with age.
As much as I love Aldi and their grocery items, the majority of Aldi's furniture and electrical items are known as "stop-gap" products. In other words, something to get you by until you can purchase the real item you want or can afford.

Is their paint any good?
2 answers
No idea however as an industrial chemist also with paint experience, may I suggest you stay away from anything other than the top brands where Dulux is tops and British Paints arguably the next best
Aldi's paint is good for the price. Its made in Germany and does the job. As with anything, you get what you pay for, so don't be disappointed if it does not roll on or brush as good as Dulux, Wattyl or BP. bye
