Absolutely Disgusted
They are claiming I damaged a vehicle I rented. Then without my authorisation charged my credit card $300. I would warn anyone to rent with a major rental company and give this company a miss

Wonderful service
Service was amazing, we got lost and were a tiny bit late returning & it wasn’t a problem. Wayne had awesome customer service & we had a great laugh. Will definitely use this service again. Highly recommend them. Driver from airport was also fantastic with some great tips on how to get around.

Bad service
My flight was cancelled a few days before Christmas and received a full refund from the airline. However, Andy's Auto rental refused to refund any part of the amount which I have paid upfront even though I did not even use the car for one day of the two week rental. Avoid them and rather pay a bit more for a respectable brand.

Avoid at all costs. Misrepresentations and very rude service staff.
We booked a large vehicle (Camry or similar), they tried to Give us a Hyundai i30. We said it was a small not a large and they said an i30 was large. Lady was exceptionally rude and bordering on abusive. I recommend avoiding this company at all costs. We booked through Brisbane Airport Rentals and got this disgustingly run company.

Have been great
We have now used Andy’s Auto Rental’s a number of times. They have been great to deal with on every occasion. Unfortunately On our previous trip to QLD we were involved In an incident and crashed the car. Andy’s were brilliant, they took care of everything and supplied us another car. We have since made another trip up north not knowing how we’d go getting another car from Andy’s after having crashed the car on the Previous trip. There was not problem, thank you Andy’s Auto Rentals for the great service.

Don't use the little business use the big businesses
I had hoped to go on holidays and hired a car from Andys Auto. I paid for my car hire 3 months in advance and i only found out this month that i am to leave that I cannot use their services because i need to more kms as I am traveling from Brisbane to Rockhampton and back. I asked for the money that I paid in full and the company refused to pay back any of the money that I paid to this small business...
So reading this don't use this company!!!

Terrible - if there were an option i would give no stars
Customer service was ok - they are nice to talk to and friendly.
Extra bits and pieces to pay for after hire - not happy at all.
Hire price is not inclusive.
Once I cancelled they would not refund any of my hire costs - Do not pay up front!! which they require, cause if you cancel you will not get anything back!!!
Very unhappy.

Horrible customer service
I don’t normally leave reviews but felt there was adequate reasoning for this one. The attitude of the man I dealt with at Andy’s was appalling. He was rude and short when speaking with me in person and over the phone and overall very unpleasant to deal with. I don’t expect amazing treatment at a car rental but how about acting in a professional and upbeat in your job setting? I will not return there when there are plenty of other rentals in the Gold Coast with pleasant staff.

Disgusting customer service and big time rorters
They have caused hardship for my entire family.
They have lied and withheld money that has been owed back to me.
Putrid scum then abuse me for it!
Be aware they will rort you.
I will never use them again and will be warning against them.
[name removed] and [name removed] at the call centre are the rudest individuals ever! Answer a question, without being rude, it's not that hard.

Stood me up
I booked a truck online with Andy's, arranged the day off work, organised for the items I needed the truck for to be ready, and for my new place to be open. I missed a call that morning but when I called back I was told my 'booking' wasn't guaranteed and they had cancelled it. They also claimed to have emailed me earlier that morning but mysteriously I never received it. I would STRONGLY advise against using the company as they seem to be quite opportunistic and perhaps they overbook (like an airline?) on the assumption someone will cancel. Too bad if no one cancels as it means someone else gets inconvenienced. Book with a company who commits to their bookings, anyone but Andy's.

Glad we took the bad ratings with a grain of salt! !
Chose to hire from Andys for 4 days before we saw all the bad reviews but decided to follow through regardless.Spoke to all the guys in bookings-stick with only Peter or Paul ! If you do you will avoid one of the other guys who has no PR skills & tries to be a wise guy.
Whilst the car I requested was not available, the replacement was fine, clean & in excellent condition.
Sue ( Hendra depot) is switched on, efficient and very helpfull - everything went very smooth.
Bottom line is I would hire from them again, and suspect, based on my experience some of the low reviews are suspect.

All ran super smooth - no issues.
Booking done online and then a phone call to run through details and finalize the booking. Info given at pick-up was succinct and understandable. Took the car for 2 days, then extended a further 3 days, without drama. The staff were very easy going (Logan office) and helpful - all went smooth and I would definitely hire a car from here again if required.

Don’t bother with this company
I rented a car through Andy’s auto rentals, through a company called airport car rentals. You would think the name would insinuate the car actually been at the airport but no. The car was in Miami so I had to fill out paperwork and send back to the car company a week prior to the trip for them to take the car to the airport. I then found out the car still wasn’t at the airport but at a car park called reddy airport parking. terminal until I see a roundabout then, call a number on the confirmation email, a shuttle will pick me up and take me to reddy airport parking. A few days later I called again to confirm the number and that everything was going to be ok, given it was 10.30 at night I was arriving. I also said I have a baby and it will be quite hard to get all my bags, baby and pram without help and he said the guy from the shuttle will help me get everything in the mini bus. So I got to the airport, collected my bags and everything else, walked a few hundred metres to the end of the terminal called the number, no answer. I called another 10 times and nothing. I google the reddy airport parking to see if there was another number and there wasn’t but it said they don’t close till 11. It was 10.20 so I walked all the way down the other end of the airport to the taxi rank, got into a taxi and told them to take me to reddy airport parking. $15 later I get there and no one was there. I caught the taxi back to the airport another $15 ran inside to see if I could hire a car through another company but everyone had closed at 10.30. I called Andy’s auto rentals on the emergency number and explained the situation. The guy said he would call back in a few minutes. Meanwhile I’m the only person at the airport standing outside in the cold (because the airport had shut), with a heap of luggage and an overtired crying baby. He called back and said he got onto the shuttle guy who would be there in 5 minutes and in the morning he would refund me for the cab fare. So the guy from reddy carpark rentals called about 15 minutes later and told me he was at the car park. I said I’m not at the carpark I’m at the airportSimilar opinion? Poor service, feeling cheated & lied to
I suppose you get what you pay for. Andy's wasn't great to deal with right from the start. Any time I called the office (whether it was to enquire about availability, make payment or confirm our pick-up), if [name removed] answered the phone he sounded annoyed to be receiving a phone call. Customer service probably isn't a great industry for him.
When we picked up the car, we were verbally advised by staff that toll charges would be automatically deducted from my credit card and that it would cost 'about $4' each time a toll road was used. ...Read more
Staff did not advise that there was $3.30 extra for each day that a person uses a toll road so tolls ended up costing almost twice as much as I was advised. We returned the car free of rubbish and relatively clean. We were informed that there would be $50 cleaning fee because the car was 'dirtier than normally expected on 6 day rental', however no one told us that we had to vacuum the car before return or we would be charged extra. A couple of weeks after returning the car I was charged $100 for traffic infringements, although I did not authorise these charges to be taken from my card and was not informed before the charge was deducted. I emailed them on numerous occasions to file a formal complaint and often my emails were outright ignored. I often had to send a few emails before I would receive a response. We book through aussie car rental website, On the website saying that car will be available at the airport, but when we arrived we had to call them and a shuttle van was sent for us. That is not so bad, on the day we meant to leave. The car will not start, call them saying that noone is available to assist us. we had our flight to catch so we took a taxi to the airport. They said they will pick up that car which is 5 min from their depot. Then I got a shock when I received my final bill which they charged me $100 pick fee, $98 late fee and $75 parking fine apparently I got while we couldn't start the car. I will never use them again

Started off well and ended disappointingly
Booking site was average and the follow up to make sure we had a Vehicle was good. When we dropped the van in a day early they made no effort to compensate even part of the costs. We paid the full price for a day. Had i known they did this, i would never have used them. No responses from two emails about it.

Worst Rental Company
Booked online in the morning, went to pick up the truck at 5pm to find no truck there, called only to be told that there was no truck available and that I should have received an email. Well no email received no courtesy phone call NOTHING!! So rude. Other rental companies were so helpful ringing around to find a truck at extremely last minute. Got one cheaper!! With no notice and great service!

Very happy with service
Paid a little extra over the summer holidays but you would expect that and they were still cheaper than the larger rental companies.
Wayne and his team at the Hendra site did a fantastic job making me and my two small children feel like a valued customer.
Highly recommended and can't fault my experience.
