Use Appliance Direct Online if you want a good deal on your electrical goods
I needed a new vaccum cleaner so I shopped around online for a vaccum under $300.00 and decided on a Vax Power 7 Pet which was cheaper at Appliances Online Direct than a similar online supplier. I telephoned first to make sure item was in stock (as I have been caught out before when buying items online ). Item was dispatched promptly and delivered by Australia Post. I would definately use Appliances Direct Online for my next appliance purchase and would recommend them to a friend.
Cheapest price online and reasonable shipping
Needs capped delivery fee not separate charges for each additional item

They need to find a reliable reputable courier company!
I ordered a dvd player online from Appliances Direct Online. Delivery was supposed to be "next day". It's now been 6 days and I'm still awaiting delivery. According to the item tracking, E-go tried twice to deliver the item and remarked no-one was home, which is grossly incorrect as I was home the entire time. Several more calls to App...Read more
liance Direct revealed that they actually used Hunter Express Couriers (tracking is the same as on the E-go website) and they said two of their different couriers tried to deliver the item but no-one was home. They asked if I lived in a block of units which is wrong so I don't know where the courier went to try and deliver the item. They said they didn't have a telephone no. to contact me on (I left two numbers on the order form). Appliances Direct need to get their act together - better communication, follow-up and employ a reputable courier company. In view of the time wasted in waiting to receive this item, it would have been faster if I went to a local shop to purchase one. No service, unable to contact the courier companySimilar opinion?
