That doesn’t sound right at all. I would contact the store you Purchased it from to discuss the issue and consider your options.

Maybe dishwasher salt is required

Ariston

Hi Shakira,
Beeping without starting could mean a few different issues:
1. The door isn't closing properly, so needs to click shut before it can start.
2. There is a problem with the water supply - check the tap or the hose and make sure water is getting into the machine
3. The dishwasher wants you to put in Rinse-Aid and/or regenerative salt - we recommend adding these to get the best performance out of each wash and to keep the dishwasher in top working order, but if you don't have the Rinse-aid or salt, you can just put water into the compartments for the time being to stop the dishwasher beeping and asking you for it.

If you have checked all of these and the dishwasher is still beeping and not starting, it would be best to give Arisit Technical Support a call on 1300 762 219 to see if they can find a solution.

I was quoted 799.00 today. Some reviews are not good. I definitely need it to work properly as I live on an Island and nobody will come out if its not working as it should.

Hi, I purchased this machine yesterday from Harvey Norman and the rep told us to putvwayer in the salt resevoir on first fire up, which we did. It does not finish a full cycle and come up with the salt reservior button red as like an error. Not at all impressed. Reading feedback I'm.now nervous we have purchased a dodgy brand and got sucked by the sales pitch!

LFC2C19X (Stainless Steel)

Hi there,
We bought an Ariston LFC2C19 after being happy with a previous Arison model - bought from Harvey Norman in Traralgon. This dishwasher is a piece of rubbish. It doesn’t wash dishes clean (we even rinse them well, first), it doesn’t wash the powder out of the holder, it won’t dissolve tablets, it leaves dishes wet and streaky and the bottom draw never slides smoothly. It also beeps and has faults often. I will avoid this brand in the future! What can I do?

I bought an Ariston LFC2C19XAUS from Harvey Norman today ‘on sale’ at $775. That price is a lot more than you’ve quoted for April, 2022 price. If I go back to Harvey Norman with this are they obliged to refund the difference in price.

Not at all.
Mine came from a Harvey Norman outlet (seconds and older stock etc).
We saved close to $200 this way.
Ours was meant to be a second (factory tested etc) but you wouldn't know it from looking at it and it still has the same 5 year warranty.

No idea about this I'm sorry.
We find that most plastics are dry by the end of the cycle.
I'm not sure if all the cycles have a drying element to them either.
Does opening the door right at the end of the cycle for a few minutes help (not really convenient though)?
I can assume that you are using rinse aid.

We use the Finish power ball tabs. They worked well in our old machine. Do you think we need a rinse aid as well?

Ariston
Anthony F.Ariston

Hi Gavin,
The dishwasher 'drying phase' often leaves some moisture as the air inside the machine cools down. After the cycle finishes and cools down, it is best the open the door and to let some of the air escape. Even then, some dishes may still have water on them.

Hi. My LFC2C19X was working perfectly, but recently stopped before the end of a cycle - it made some short beeps and the power and start lights were flashing. I can't find this in the troubleshooting guide - can you tell me what this error refers to? Thanks.

Hi Bianca H,
It is difficult to determine the issue without seeing the machine. It would be best to give Arisit Technical Support a call on 1300 762 219 to see if they think a technician should come out to have a look.

My guess (based on what happened to us) is that the outlet pipe at the back needs to be raised 30-40cm before it drops down.
What is happening at the moment is that the water is simply draining out which in turn shuts the machine down (earlier than normal).
When we first put our machine in, we didn't have the outlet pipe raised, and we didn't have any problems for a while, but then we started to experience exactly what you seem to be describing.
Once we raised the outlet pipe, it started working perfectly every time.
I can't remember if the lights were all flashing, but it's worth checking the outlet pipe.

My brand new model LFC2C19X does not run for a full cycle, it only runs for up to 30 minutes and then beeps and switches off and the red salt light comes on. The detergent dispenser doesn't open and the water is cold. We have tried numerous programs and they all have the same outcome

As for the salt light, you just have to ignore it unless you are living outside of a major metropolitan area. I was concerned about having to salt into the machine (thinking that it was going to be an annoying ongoing cost) so I rang the Ariston customer service number and they said that salt isn't needed in major metro areas.
Hope this helps.

Can the Ariston LFC2C19X Dishwasher be hooked up to a hot water supply ?

Marc

to quote the manual..... if the installed inlet hose is marked 25C max, the maximum allowed water temperature is 25C. For all other models the maximum allowed water temperature is 60C.

Braden F.
Braden F.

This doesn't help as my inlet hose has 3 temperatures listed on it, Tm 90 C 3/5min, Tm 25 C 100%, Tu 60 C, IP67. Can you confirm? Mine is currently connected to cold but everything is very wet when wash is complete. Wondering if hot water supply will ensure things are dry

Ariston
Anthony F.Ariston

Hi Braden,
The LFC2C19 dishwasher does not have a heater in it, so the dishes will not become fully dry after a wash. Using Rinse-Aid and dishwasher salt can help with this.
