Finally, a dryer that dries sheets & bedding!
After being thoroughly disappointed with my Siemens heat pump condenser dryer, I replaced it with an Asko condenser dryer. I needed to be able to dry my laundry fast and wanted to be able to dry bedding in the dryer, and not have it ball up and stay wet in the middle (which is what happened with my Siemens).
The butterfly technology, combined with the drum changing directions (which I had a hard time finding with other brands) keeps the bedding “open” while beIng dried, and makes every type of load dry fast.
I bought it based on my experience ...Read more

This is the BEST appliance I have brought in years
Was recommended by a friend the Asko D5456 dishwasher as they were very happy with their purchase and ease of operation. So I took their recommendation and done some research on it and I was happy with what I found out about it and went and purchased one as well and I do have to say what a totally amazing machine it is it just soldiers on and seriously if you are in the market for a fantastic dishwasher experience I can’t say enough great things about them apart from go with your heart and purchase one you will be very satisfied with it as I have been with my great Asko dishwasher as well as the great Asko experience I had when I purchased it. Thanks guys.

Asko D5456 Dishwasher excellent so far.
My old Asko Dishwasher ASEA 1252 was installed about 1995 and had performed faultlessly (24 yrs) until 10/12/2019 when it overfilled and shorted out the motor, thereby stopping permanently. The dishwasher man suggested a D5456 as replacement so I got one from The Good Guys on 27/12/19 and it was installed on 31/12/19.!! The installer Nick was very efficient and installed it in 30 mins and took away the old one and all the packing rubbish from the new one. So we have used it only a few times and still getting used to it. Compared to the old one...Read more
this D5456 is QUIET almost silent. (The electric kettle makes more noise.) I have only used the standard setting which is lowest electricity and water use. I like the fact the D5456 is strong.. all components seem unbreakable, and stainless steel interior including the 3x spray arms. It Has a plastic cutlery shelf as well but the usual 2 other baskets are strong coated steel/graphite I think. It is very versatile, with most of the bottom basket movable / re arrangeable to accommodate just about any cooking pan. The top holds 25cm high wine glasses!!. The dishes come out spotless, but with a bit of water left on them. But there are settings to dry the dishes more if u want. But it takes about 2hr 20 mins for the cycle (which seems typical) so I will just put it on overnight as usual. So very pleased with my purchase so far. I hope it goes for 24 yrs like the old one.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Asko W6864W Washing Machine
We purchased our Asko W6864W washing machine almost 4 years ago and have been very happy with the machine up until now. The machine began making a squeaking noise on the wash cycle about 4 weeks ago. Got a Technician out to repair the machine a few days ago who advised that the fault was the bearings and that we were very unlucky that the problem had occurred as Asko machines should last 10 - 15 years without fault. He replaced the bearings (German quality) and seal which cost $880, including the repair time!! I am very disappointed that we have had to pay so much to fix a problem that shouldn’t have happened given the fact that we paid $1800 for the machine only 4 years ago.

Best dishwasher I’ve ever purchased and best experience at delivery and installation.
Delivery and installation included in the price, the delivery was really fast, ordered on Sunday and delivered and installed the following Tuesday. The installer was courteous and competent, he gave me time to clean up from the old dishwasher, installed it perfectly, ran it through a cycle to ensure no problems and registered the dishwasher online for me, plus took the old machine and all packaging with him. The ASKO dishwasher is super quiet (you can’t tell if it’s on), very efficient and everything is clean and dry, even small plastics! The s...Read more
pace in the cabinet is huge, perfect for all those large plates and big pots. I’ve had an Indesit, a Dishlex, an Electrolux, a Miele and two Smeg dishwashers in the past, they do not compare - ASKO is the best and I highly recommend it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Best dishwasher I have ever owned.
It is very easy to install. Has an excellent mounting system to hold the unit in place. I love how easy the racks slide and that they are made of powder coated steel. The sharp knife rack/shelf is a must have.

Asko rangehood - so far so good
Ordered Asko rangehood - installed by kitchen people / electrician but didn't work. Called Asko and was able to get someone out the next week, who arrived when they said they would and fixed the issue (apparently the wiring diagram isn't clear so something not connected properly). Obviously would have been better to have it working the first time but can't complain about the after-sales service I got, which seems to have been an issue for others, so credit where it's due.

ASKO 8kg Front Load W2084C.W
We chose the ASKO over Miele for the steel seal design and have been very happy with the product. I'm amazed at how little noise it produced even at 1400 rpm compared to our old machine which had a maximum 1000 RPM. Only complaint is the dial can be a little fiddly as you cycle through the many modes and the main hose at the back is made of hard plastic which made connecting to the water valve a bit difficult but it's a minor grip and I am very happy with the washing machine.

Not built to last despite what the add says!!!!
Our pyrolytic oven OP8620 started playing up 2 years after purchase. It would randomly turn itself on without being touched, the temperature set would change by itself too. Today the door broke and I cant open the oven door all all. The ASKO repair person came, took a look and said he could not help and that cost me $110. We also have a microwave oven OM8310 which also plays up and buttons do not work and dishwasher D5233 which does not seem to be able to wash in the right hand side of the bottom draw.
I would stay away from their products.
Definitely NOT built to last

Screwed up thier scheduling, refused to accept mistake, hung up on me, wont allow contact with tech
Asko Australia you muppets genuineley have the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with.
You phone the night before and leave a message saying "I'll be there between 1-2pm".
You then (for some unknown reason) call the number you have saved inn your system from the building owner, a number you were specifically told NOT to phone, and got yourselves confused and flustered when she didnt know about it and told you to ring me, and you have now cancelled the appointment.
Then after 3x phone calls to try and get to speak to the rep, who either

Terrible service now harassment
We contacted ASKO because our 3 month old dishwasher wasn't working. They booked 5 days after - we fixed it ourselves (just a blockage) and when they phoned to confirm appointment (private number) after hours they didn't leave a contact number - we phoned there Melbourne office to cancel but they claimed they never received our message turned up anyway and sent as an invoice for nothing and when trying to explain were simply very rude

I dodged a bullet - Dont buy ASKO
Placed an order for an Asko Dishwasher about 7 weeks ago and to date zero feedback from Store about delivery date. The store is unable to get any details not a delivery date. I have cancelled the order and waiting for my refund. Imagine if the service is poor when purchasing imagine how much worse it gets with after market services and warranty I dodged a bullet - dont buy ASKO - very poor service.

Alot of money for garbage service and garbage machine
Had my washing machine for a year, until the door shattered. Called up the company technician for him to tell me "The doors never shatter". finally emailed a representative with photos and got underway of getting a replacement door for my machine. 1.5 months of myself having to go to a public laundromat which also costed me more $$, called the company to find out whats going on. "ooop haha we lost the door don't worry another one is on its way". After 2-3 months someone finally comes by and fixes my washing machine.

You don't get what you pay for
I was really disappointed that a washing machined we had for less than 4 years completely broke and would have been more expensive to repair than get a new one (the motherboard went on it). At 14 months we needed to get a technician out to fix the display screen. We since got a secondhand Samsung - no issues in the two years.

Asko w/m motor failed after 9.5 years
Pays to take extended warranty even with these more expensive machines. Overall happy with the product though would have expected longer life, now throwing out almost perfectly good washer to avoid a $470 motor replacement. However that's 50% of the new F&P machine being delivered tomorrow.
Two major machine faults in this 9.5 year period - still not good enough!

Product fine. Service section terrible
Have needed to contact ASKO under extended warranty. Initial response team good but then service department doesnt answer calls. Have spent hours on phone today and two days ago to try to reschedule a service call made by them on a day I had appointments. Tried to stay on hold but call was disconnected twice after being on hold for 15 and 20 mins respectively. Also tried call back but no call. Looked at email but no option to reschedule. I did let the technician know so he wouldnt be put out. Ended up asking for manager of response team and she...Read more
told me she would deal with it. I got a call from service to say I would be charged $60 for cancellation even though I explained how I had tried to contact them. Told her not paying. She did make another time for a call but only after berating me for not cancelling again. Will never buy another ASKO appliance.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Don't buy!
My previous washing machine as Fisher and Piker. Worked for 14 years then died. Friend said Asko will work 25 years without problem. So spend three times the money to buy one. Malfunctioned after only four years and costed me $225 to fix it. So don't buy ASKO. Just get a Fisher and Piker or any other main-stream ones which costs half of Asko.

Buyer Be Ware!!!!!
We bought an ASKO dishwasher, we spent top dollar to ensure we purchased quality that would last! All I can say is google ASKO dishwashers ... I wish we had researched and read reviews.... Look for F12 error which is water intake error.... we had it fixed twice at our own cost and have now had to purchase a new dishwasher. ASKO support were rude, unresponsive and I believe are at fault selling these dishwashers as it is a known fact that the F12 error is happening with all of their dishwashers! DO NOT PURCHASE!

LOVE ASKO!
Just renovated my kitchen and chose all new Asko appliances again as they never let me down in my old kitchen. Purchased the wall oven and small steam combo oven, ideal having two ovens, the regenerate function in the steam combo is amazing, goodbye microwave for reheating leftovers. Cooktop is very easy to clean and the wok burner is amazing, such intense heat. Dishwasher also is perfect, cutlery drawer at the top if needed but I general use the basket instead. Customer service is EXCEPTIONAL, I recently had an issue with my oven, that was human error on my part, problem was resolved with Asko via the retailer, instantly. I cannot recommend their products more highly.

I have a 12-year-old Asko dishwasher which has done OK till now (though I had to get the outlet hose and the motor replaced about 5 years ago). Now it is leaving food on plates etc. and water is not getting hot, so not drying at end of cycle. Have been told I need a service, however a plumber said he thinks it's not worth fixing at this age. Is he right?

Assuming you use about once per day, I'd say 10 years would be a reasonable expectant and 12 years is pretty good... . I also found this; http://homeguides.sfgate.com/long-should-dishwasher-last-average-91045.html
Hi I've got a Miele standard dishwasher G664 & its still going & its 16yrs old!! - only had 1 service call & that was because the swivel arm was blocked & I didn't know to check it before calling for service. A service repairman was booked & called within 4 days to fix the problem
so I would say buy a Miele - think the basic entry model today is about $1200 ?? but well worth the money
Thanks very much Grant and happy customer. I since heard the prob is probably the thermostat but have decided to put it into retirement as theres only one of me and I like hands on.
