Met my expectations.
I received a 3 month AWN warranty with the purchase of a used car through Pickles. I noticed after purchase that a few items didn’t work.
Wednesday called AWN and spoke to a nice lady named Kim. Kim texted me a couple of authorised repairers whilst we were talking.
Thursday the vehicle was inspected and quoted by authorised mechanic which then needed to be approved by AWN.
Monday I called for progress update and spoke to Kim again. She was nice and easy to talk to. She asked if I had tried dealer warranty - which I had.

Great assistance! resolved quickly!
CV Joint in my Triton became noisy. Didn't know if it was covered, rang AWN up and the lady was very helpful. Indicated it was covered under the warranty and gave me details of repairers. fixed within a week of going to the mechanic. Very happy with the process, especially since it was my first ever claim.

Policy honoured with no fuss
The alternator all of a sudden gave in on my Toyota Prado. I emailed AWN over the weekend and they called first thing Monday morning. Unfortunately my preferred repairer isn't one they currently approve even though it's a major chain and others are. The one they sent me to was ok, fast and did the required work but not very professional.
Car was back on the road in 2 business days so very happy!

Great service
Warranty was part of buying a 2nd hand car 9 months ago. The car had a fault with the Alternator, whilst on holiday. Process of making a claim was easy. AWN was quick to respond. They are great with communication kept me informed and up to date with what is happening with my claim all the way through.

Insurance company that does what they say they will do
The warranty insurance came with the car when I purchased it. The first problem with the car it was covered and repaired immediately. I paid for repairs and they reimburse me the full amount sooner than they first told me. Will recommend them to anyone. Will also ring the car yard and inform them of my dealings with them.

Great service at a reasonable price
I bought a second hand car from Pickles Auction and took the 3 year extended warranty with AWN. I was pleasantly surprised that the cover was reliable, listed all coverage and the dealings with their staff was easy and seamless. The staff were professional and advised the requirements of the warranty and I have met with nothing but good service.

I made my first claim last Thursday which was approved the same day. As I required a part to be air freighted to a regional town I was in at the time I had to wait until the next day for it to arrive so it could be fitted by the mechanic once received which happened. Awesome service, thank you.

Worst customer service
I have 3 years vehicle warranty with them Since Sep 2018 car always had some exhaust problem! They have refrred to me few mechanics but none of them seemed to find the problem! Every mechanic pretty much said its European car so they don't really work with these cars.
So Awn have sent it to me all the new different mechanics (atleast 6 mechanics) because every mechanic didn't know how to find the problem or they are not good with German cars! So finally seemed to find a mechanic today after 8 months who they referred but the mechanic said i t...Read more
hink this is the problem but to fully diagonise it i need to leave the vehicle with them for a day but also he said make sure confirm with Awn that they will pay for it diagonise the problem which i assumed why they shouldn't! So anyway spoke to someone name Tash who would not tell her last name because according to her it was none of my business & there is only aTash in the building so i don't need to know her full name. like seriously she owns the whole building & was so rude over the ph. All i asked her what mechanic asked me to ask & she didn't really give the proper answer instead made me hold on to the ph & made me wait for few minutes & come later on the ph & pretty much made it look like i will pay to mechanic for him to find the problem! Like seriously what is the point of having this Insurance if they waste that many months without finding a proper mechanic & then if u find one then they make it sounds like i would be paying out of my packet! No fuss response from AWN
Have had a extended car warranty with AWN for approximately six months and upon the regular service found the vehicle required a solenoid to rectify a loss of power issue.
AWN responded in a positive manner very timely and the necessary repairs were completed promptly.
I have no hesitation to recommend this product and grateful for their professional manner in dealing with my issue.

There when I needed them.
Have held a warranty for a few months after purchasing a 2nd hand car. I found the car needed a little work done, and the whole process of making a claim was too easy. I found them to be very responsive to my emails, available fast on their helpline and very clear with their instructions as to what I needed to do from start to finish. Very refreshing!

The worst traveling experience with this
I had purchased AWN insurance for our Alamo car rental via the WestJet booking site as they are partners and it was seamless to do so online. I arrived at Alamo 5 days ago only to have the representative tell me that the insurance I had purchased for $124CAD was (in his exact words) "useless". Being confused, I asked the Alamo representative why would they (WestJet/AWN Insurance) would provide insurance that is useless for my car rental. He shrugged and said that by Mexican law, I would have to purchase "TPA Insurance" for an additional $413.62...Read more
USD ($539.65CAD being from Vancouver) and that AWN's wasn't going to work. After going back and forth for awhile without getting anywhere, he advised me to contact WestJet to try to get a refund. I called WestJet and was finally able to get a hold of someone only to have them tell me to call AWN insurance directly instead as there was nothing they could do for me. After attempting to call the Toronto AWN insurance office several times only to receive a voicemail to email them, I decided I had noting to loose and did so. Upon emailing them, I received this response from a CSR named [name removed]: "My apologies for the late response, Upon checking you reservation with booking number MX632365350, it has been a past pick up for about 3 hours and unfortunately, once the reservation has been a past booking, we cannot do any cancellation or amendments in the reservation including the AXA insurance. My apology. If you need further assistance kindly contact us thru chat or emial. " For the sake of stating facts in this review, my reservation for my car rental pick up was 2:34pm. I arrived at Alamo in Los Cabos around or shortly after 3:00pm. My first phone call to WestJet was at 3:39pm after hearing that I should probably get a refund from them and my first email to AWN insurance was at 4:03pm after being directed by the WestJet agent that I would need to contact AWN directly instead. How is this 3 hours after my reservation time? I even did my due diligence to send them my reservation print out, my AWN insurance purchase and the NEW additional TPA insurance that I had to purchase for $413.62 USD. I have constantly been trying to ask for someone in management to speak with me, but have only been getting a robotic response from different CSRs: "Thank you for your response. I apologized for that but you will be having also the same information that my colleague has provided on you.2 comments

Everyone should consider AWN warranty!
I took extended warranty when I purchased my car last year, I called as my car had a small noise and I wasnt sure if or what may be covered. They directed me to a european mechanic near by who is amazing. I rang him the next day for an update and he said AWN had approved and I didnt need to do anything.
Definitely recommend AWN for warranty products.

I had a claim for repairs to a faulty refrigerator in my motorhome resolved quickly and in a very professional manner by the excellent team in the Claims Department. They were very easy to deal with in conversations on the telephone and via email. A refreshing experience after my doubting the value of such insurance.....damm my wife was right again to insist I make the investment.

Not Impressed!
Communication and response is fair from good. Constant follow up calls which entails to speaking to multiple parties despite liaising with one party via email. No return calls recieved if requested.
Outcome finance was paid out though after constant hassle and follow ups from my end. Claim took weeks to finalise and gap cover was not actually going to payout finance difference as they deduct their fees, insurance fees and so on leaving us still out of pocket with car finance.

Couldn’t ask for better customer service
My water pump broke and AWN was quick to help get it sorted.
With no hassle the friendly staff at AWN supplies with numbers of certified mechanics in my area and all was completed within the week I had diagnostic conducted. Staff were friendly and prices was pretty straight forward. Super happy

Replacement of caravan door handle to enable further unrestricted travel.
Policy is excellent value. Claim lodged 11.00 am for a replacement door lock/handle on a Metrolink caravan. Two listed agents were provided but they had no parts, nor could they do the work for weeks. I found a repair facility that did the job straight away. My claim was processed by 2.00 pm with a reimbursement due to be processed. I have been living permanently in the caravan for 4 years and that has been covered by AWN effectively. This quick resolution allowed me to continue travelling without any hindrance.

Fast quick and easy claim
The claim process was quick and super easy. All done and fixed within 24hrs.
It’s a shame their choice of repairer weren’t that good.
Doing an additional repair at my cost without my consent and telling me about it when my car was to be collected.
As well as didn’t put enough coolant in my radiator( reason for warranty repair) and nearly causing me to blow my whole cooling system on the way home. Thank god I had my mechanic mate following me who resolved the issue.
