Good and bad

Aspire Hardtop 563 Double

Great caravan, owned since new 2014 with some relatively minor issues that they grumbled but fixed or I just did easily
EXCEPT
The fridge is not installed to manufacturers details. The vents not located to permit gas burner cleaning. Consequently if gas burner needs a clean you need to remove the whole fridge instead of just undoing a vent.
Sounds petty but if your bush camping and the gas fridge goes your holiday isnt going to be as good as you hoped. No fridge equals no holiday.

... Read moreher vent or a screw opening access but was told thats not going to happen. The fittings cost virtually nothing and labor maybe 2 hrs, so thats pathetic. One guy tried to explain it was illegal to put a third vent behind a fridge so I suggested a 150mm circular plastic totally waterproof marine fitting. I even offered to buy the thing for them. He was going to check and call back but after a few years I think he lost my number as surely Avan values its customers and would always call back. Its my third Avan and 2 friends have new ones thanks to us and whats previously a good relationship but this problem occured after they changed staff at Penrith and really isnt what we expected.

Aspire Hardtop 563 Double

Looks good! But, have just had the brakes rewired, costly, because. Wiring was too small and brakes only received power along the line. Our bedroom window, double glaze, has come apart, currently duck taped. The catch on our skylight has broken while travelling along the road. The van is not sealed at all from dust coming up near the walls when travelling on short dirt roads, usually detours. Fridge had to be replaced (not 12 months old) would not go on gas, faulty inastalation and vents were in wring place. Very dissatisfied.
