Cooks to perfection. Love the fan forced ovens with all the shelves especially when baking cakes and biscuits. It just looks absolutely fantastic in the kitchen and the color range available would suit any ones kitchen. The convenience of 3 ovens is great when entertaining. The option of 5 gas burners is excellent.

I am so glad I spent the extra money to purchase exactly the stove I wanted
My husband was not convinced that this stove was needed but it was the one I wanted. I had seen a demonstration at the Melbourne Home Show about three years ago. The stove was installed one year ago as our old stove gave up the ghost. we are still deciding how we want the renovation of our kitchen to proceed but our belling stove has been brilliant. The ease of having the three ovens has been wonderful, The space on the cooktop is a huge improvement on our last stove and we are very pleased with the wok burner hotplate. There are definitely no regrets in our purchase.

no help from belling or harvey normzn
We purchased our belling 900dft in 2013 from Harvey Norman. As soon as it was installed we noticed the belling badge was broken and small pin head size bumps in paint on all 3 doors which turned to rust marks on no time. Harvey norman only gave us belling contact number, not helpful at all. All belling said was we must have cleaned it with something harsh. Well if soap and water is to harsh at 6000 dollars font waist your money. However it is a great oven just the finish is very poor. The main oven leaks hot air from the top and has melted t...Read more

Very disappointed
We have had a technician to our home twice to carry out repairs to our new oven. After taking photos of the problems with the oven and forwarding them to Belling, technician arrived with wrong replacement parts. Technician took photos of the areas on the oven which required replacement parts and forwarded them into Belling. The technician arrived again this afternoon to carry out the repairs, again supplied wrong parts. When the technician tried to replace the grill door skin a flimsy clip broke and now the oven doorskin is not secured correct...Read more
ly. These ovens cost in excess of $4000.00 and I would expect the quality control in the manufacturing process to be of a higher standard. I will be contacting Belling and who we purchased the oven from to request a new oven be supplied and installed at no cost to us as I truly believe we have received a 2nd quality oven. Very disappointed to date.1 comment

Happy
Ten years ago I spent a lot of money on a lofra oven that never worked. Second time around I did my research. I have had my belling oven for a little over a month and I am so happy. Everything about this oven works. Food is cooked quickly, crispy but remains moist. After my first oven I really just wanted an oven that worked and worked well and this seems to of ticked all the boxes. A little bit of adjusting to the smaller size oven and trays but I feel that is a matter of readjusting my habits. Also be aware that this oven is a 35w oven and so was costly to instore by an electrician and gas plumber

Beware.
My long oven door was not sealing and as a result the control knobs above are scorched and the front of the oven is scratched up and scorched.
I've stopped using the big oven now.
$4000 investment that's a write off in my opinion. Cooking is no longer a joy.

Nightmare
After 6 months of trouble and repeated repairs, finally with help from Fair Trading, we had our stove replaced. No problems with new unit for a year until last night the same problems started to occur, similar with the first unit. What a nightmare, back to the drawing board and now have to deal with this company again!!!

Soooo disappointed!
It looks lovely! That is the only positive thing I can say about this stove.I am so bitterly disappointed with it. The fans started making very loud noises just after the warranty expired. At first I thought it was because the stove wasn't level. We levelled it and no improvement. Then the fans stopped working altogether. The long oven on the right does not heat up evenly - much hotter at the top than the bottom. The enamel has already chipped in two spots. It is starting to rust around the temperature gauge on the front of the oven and I also...Read more
detected a rusty spot around the glass of the small oven. The big gas cooker in the middle stopped working long ago. The cook top is hard to keep clean, because it is so deep (just a personal observation). Although the stove is a few years old, we only got round to installing it about a year after we purchased it. It has only been in full use for about 18 months. Dare I say that we live in rural WA. We cannot get a technician to quickly come and look at the stove neither can we load it on the back of a ute and quickly cart it to the nearest workshop. This is a very expensive mistake! I'm stuck with it now, because I can not fork out another $5000 for a new stove again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Controls are not intuitive. The manual is missing important details, and needs a complete re-write.
We recently had friends looking after our house. When we got back, they said they couldn't work the griller. So I decided to read the manual. Here's what I found.... 1. There's three ovens, nowhere is it mentioned which is which - you can read the whole manual from front to back and still not know which oven is controlled by the timer. 2. There's a knob (simmerstat) on the RHS that controls the grill on the LHS. 3. Symbol descriptions are vague - squiggly line means uncontrolled, ('cept for the top left oven, which has a simmerstat, on the RHS); solid line means controlled by thermostat.

Can't fault it
Love having 3 ovens, they come in so handy when having a party.
The only problem I ever had was the little red lights above the knobs being getting pushed in.
Everything else is just great, our cabinets are vinyl wrapped and are mm's from the oven, they haven't burnt in any way in almost 4 years of use.
Oh and it looks sensational.

A big expensive let down
Had thermostat replaced after a year in bottom left oven, still get various readings from oven by my personal thermometer, Top left grill door, the paint melted off the door so had the skin replaced. Really don't like the sliders for pulling out bakes and trays, can be dangerous when getting frustrated trying to pull them out!

Disappointed
We love the functionality, and the aesthetics of the Belling product but we are terrified it is going to burn down our kitchen. We have terrible scorching on the large oven side of the cooker,we use the smaller oven more regularly with no problems to date. Belling are shifting the blame to the joiner but he has followed all the installation procedures with no minimum spacings specified. We believed we were purchasing a premium product. Belling along with Harvey Norman have let us down.

Great Oven for price
I had to leave a review after reading some previous reviews which I felt I had the complete opposite experience to me. We are heavy cookers and have trialed a large amount of various recipes in our 90cm Richmond which we have only had excellent results.
The Oven doors will get warm on the outside yet haven't had any issues of it being a hazard with kids to burn themselves.
Hope this helps as I would recommend the product. In fact my neighbour ended up buying one after using ours!

Rubbish!!
Terrible oven, burnt kitchen down twice. Belling refuse to fix kitchen a second time. Reaches over 130 degrees on the outside. Apparently this is normal. Rubbish product - Safety Hazard and even worse customer service. Avoid at all costs. Installed correctly as per manual asked for cabinet material then refused. I'm also talking to other people who have had the same issue with the kitchen melting next to the oven. Told other customer it's a known issue, refuse to tell me the same.

Loved my new oven until discovered door doesn't stay shut :(
Absolutely loved my new oven bought specifically for the three seperate oven areas to replace my previous one oven range cooker. Quickly discovered that the door on the right hand oven doesn't stay shut once reaches near 200 degrees. Not really sure how this makes it fir for purpose :( As a result the knobs above get very hot (too hot to touch without oven gloves) and I worry they will melt. Kitchen cabinet directly next to open door has also melted. Had one repair (metal frame fitted inside door) and oven in now even worse. If opened when on wont actually close again. Would have been better sticking to my prev oven :(. Now feel like can't actually functionally use half of this one.

RIchmond. Overall you get what you pay for.
The good;
3 ovens only used 2 but bake/roast very well.
trivets are very solid and have no movement. really good.
Grill is very good.
Gas rings work well but having come from an Italian brand previously I'd say the heat is 'calmer'. Not a problem when you get used to it. Although the wok burner does not get hot enough.
The not so good;
If you're out of the metro area then warranty has a $50 call out regardless of fault. Given my location this is unusual practice.
The larger oven door (magnetic close) has a habit of coming ajar just i...Read more

Disappointing
Have had trouble with large oven door not closing, so heat escaping from oven, eventually was replaces and still not right, have to kick shut at the bottom, poor design !!! Also coating flaking off knobs and not even a year old, we had our last cooker for 13 years and had no problems. Obviously not built to last even a year. Do not buy, after care atrocious. Two years on, it does work but coating flaking off more knobs & have been told it's what I'm cleaning it with ( washing up liquid & a soft cloth, I'm not stupid) customer service is very poor.
Can use small oven separate, so save on energy.
Cheap construction, knobs, door, hobs.

Belling Richmond Top Quality.
We finally decided it was time for a new oven. Looked at the Belling Sterling, not at all impressed, gas jet looked light weight, and the so call stainless steel that didn't show finger marks was covered in finger marks in the store, so we decided to look at the Richmond. Only thing we didn't like was the colour choice. Black or Cream. Cream would have been fine if it was cream but it was far more a yellow custard colour which was really ugly.
On the good side this is a really well made solid cooker. Gas jets are some of the best I have used...Read more
. The oven again just fantastic. To begin with I kept opening the door as the cooker is pretty much silent despite the convection fan running. Took a bit of working out to sort out the timer but that is all good now. Love the fact that the temperature setting is white on black and really clear. The fact that the gas will automatically turn of it a breeze should blow out the flame is an excellent feature. Love the fact I now have 3 different size ovens to choose from. I can cook different parts of the meal needing different temperature all at the same time and for a couple living on there own great not to have to use a whole large oven just to cook a small meal. Over all could not be happier. Only thing that could be improved is a greater could range, not willing to spend another $2000 just to get a better range of colours.1 comment

round the gas jets they dont seem to clean to well. Only other thing is that you have 3 ovens but only one timer so a freestanding timer to use for the other ovens is handy to have by the cooker. Yes the instructions are not great, but really it is not hard to work out. Each knob has a marking to show with gas yet it belongs to. We did have a bit of an issue working out how to get the griller in the top over to work but again it was not that difficult to finally work out and the griller like the other ovens works really well. We bought the black oven and it looks really smart against a white kitchen. Over all a great cooker and happy to recommend it to anyone.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I’m really keen on the Belling Richmond 900 duel fuel in black but you have mixed reviews.
Is the any difference with models or frequency of issues with doors warping etc?
Would love to purchase but want to make sure as it’s a significant investment in our kitchen Reno.
Many thanks, Paula.

Ours is 6 years old and we still love it. They have a new model now that looks like they've addressed the couple of issues that I see others talking about. They've changed the design of the door, for example.
If they have fixed the long door (RHS) warping that would make a big difference. I am still concerned however that IO have contacted both the Belling dealer in Australia as well as the carefree criminals who sold it to me (Harvey N__man) and am still unable to get any after sales service. Maybe you should establish a relationship with the after sales service people through whoever is selling to you before you pay.
