DR750S-2CH (2 Channel)

Hi! I have bought DR750-2ch from eBay. Everything works fine. But it is already registered to Icloud. I have asked a seller to remove the Blackvue from the Icloud, but he deleted the app and change his phone. And basically, he doesn't remember the email that he was using for icloud. Is there a chance to remove this camera from Icloud. so could I register on my acc?
The serial number for it is DR7SS1H1E02989
Thank you

Hi john, best thing to do is email [email protected] and ask them to delete the current account. They may require further proof you are the owner though, but I'm sure they will be able to help you to get this sorted.
Thanks,
Tom.

I have had a BlackVue DR750S installed into my 2018 Mustang does it have speed and red light warning? I had a thinkware dash cam installed on my last car and that was the best part of the dash cam saved me a lot of heartache.

It has a speed limit setting. But audio warning is not very loud.

No red light warning.

Hi Leigh,
Thanks for your question. The BlackVue Dash Cams do not have a speed or red light camera warning function as the accuracy of these systems does not meet the strict BlackVue quality control criteria. It is possible to set a speed alert for the camera to alarm at a determined speed through the camera settings.
I believe there are free navigation apps for smart phones available that will offer a similar service to what you describe.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any other questions.

Not sure about Sydney but in WA it would cost you about $800 in total. Its about $400-500 just for the labour depending on the car.

Hi Joe,
This is most likely caused by an SD card error. Please contact your local BlackVue dealer or feel free to get in touch with our support team.

This is the same problem we are having. We have reformatted the SD card twice now.

Hi. I just had DR750 installed yesterday. I don't understand why the wifi connection drops out and doesn't connect again automatically when I return to the car. Is it normal to keep having to press reset on the camera so my device will connect? I'm using iOS 11 and my device recognises the camera as a wifi connection if I go into wifi settings on device, but fails to connect to unit unless I press reset button on the dashcam.

Hi Emmy, you may have the 'WiFi auto turn off' feature enabled, this will turn the WiFi off after 10 minutes of no activity.
Keep in mind, while you are connected via WiFi, you will not have any data/internet on your phone.
Thank you,
BlackVue Australia.

Hi I had the same problem I would have expected the WiFi connection from my phone to automatically connect two cameras in a car when I'm within range what I find is that in fact I have to manually connect every time I also find that the range of the cameras Wi-Fi is very limited unless you're standing right next to the car or inside the car the camera Wi-Fi range isn't far enough and it will drop out.

BlackVue Australia T.BlackVue

Hi Rusty,

If your phone is not automatically connecting to the BlackVue Wi-Fi, this usually means that:

The BlackVue Wi-Fi network is not configured for auto-connect/auto-join in your phone settings, you will have to double check on the Wi-Fi settings for this particular network on your mobile device. Another thing you will have to keep in mind is that if your phone is currently connected to a different Wi-Fi network currently, it will not automatically disconnect and re-connect to the camera, but will usually prioritise the what has the strongest signal in your saved networks.

The BlackVue camera Wi-Fi is only effective for up to 5~10 meters from the device, so it is not recommended to be much further than this when actively operating BlackVue Wi-Fi.

Please let us know if you would like us to clarify on any of the raised points or had any other inquiries about this, thank you!

I just got my DR750 with pro magic. installed by a car audio guy installer.
After he completely installed it.
There was no power to the dash cam. (Had the pro magic set to 12.5 v and infinite park record. )
So he checked the cable work. There is power going in to the pro magic. But no power coming out to dash cam. It was a Saturday when we did this, so we disconnected the pro magic and it works but no parking monitoring. So the following week i contacted the shop they suggest i reset the settings on pro magic to 12 v and 72hrs. Will this work? I am wondering.
As i have to pay him another call out fee to reconnect this.!!!!!
(haven't had it reconnected yet
In next week or. So )

Also i have notice that my standars internet service does not work at all on my phone when I am linked to the dash cam. The dash cam links fine. Whats causing this?

I would start by double checking the installers work. Get a test light or voltage meter if your handy and check the wires below.

The YELLOW wire needs to be the one that is on CONSTANT power.
The RED wire is the one that gets wired to an ACC line.
The BLACK wire is the ground.
Then double check the Power magic Pro settings. I have mine set at 12V / 12hrs.

As for your your phone not getting internet whislt near your car, thats because your phone is detecting the strongest signal near it, the blackvue wifi. I had the same problem wiith my Samsung S7. This is a problem with the phone trying to use the wifi connection and not 3G or 4G for internet. If i was not using my phone to check the Blackvue i would simply force the disconnection of the Blackvue connection via my phone. You have to go into the phones wifi settings and select blackvue wifi and then select "forget it". Then simply if you want to check the Blackvue just reconnect via wifi again and repeat above process when done. takes all of 10secs.

Hope this helps

G. Hi
G. Hi

I have found if you install the PMP and it doesnt work Try turning the engine on. Had the same trouble and took it back to the shop who tried 4 they had and all did the same
Brought it home reinstalled it and had a think . Truned the car on and away it went. Seems the cutoff limit of 12v is too high as the old PM could be set at 11.6 which was much better.

One of the big flaws of the camera is that once it’s connected to WiFi you will have no internet. BlackVue for whatever reasons did not specify their WiFi connection as having no internet as most Action Cams do so you still have internet. It’s super annoying.

I just installed the Gator in a brand new Audi A5. It stops the MMI interphase from the iphone to the Audi MMI. Is there a way that the camera can still work without WIFI?

I’m not a expert but I think you only need the wifi to view the records from the sdi card. The wifi I have on my blackvue is only there for me to view records and I can update the card from my phone. Hope this helps.

Hi Ross,
I wish we could help, but unfortunately we don't know anything about the Gator brand - only BlackVue :)
Maybe try posting your question in the Gator section?

I recently got a dr750s 2ch. Overall happy with it however the G sensor is way to sensitive in normal mode. Even set at the lowest level events are constantly triggered. Simply going up a hill or stopping at traffic light will set it off. Sometimes just driving normally on a smooth road will also set it off. Is there a fix for this problem??? I have firmware version 1.002. Only way to stop constant false events is to turn all settings to 0.
Need a fix for this as it is a feature I would like to use.
Please help

These posts might help, but what I think I did was turn all the settings off, I was getting way to many push notifications parked in my Garage got rather annoying. I have mine set G-Senor Normal Mode Up@Down 2 Side to Side 3 @ Front and Back 3. Parking Mode UP@Down 8 Side to Side 8 Front and Back 8. Motion Detection 4.

Hope this helps, it seems a good camera with a few little quirks, wish support gave more answers than no replies. I've put a lot of guess work into working threw it.

G. Hi
G. Hi

If you have a prang even on the lowest setting it will record it I have turned all audio warnings off so that should it happen I never hear it. This camera is a fair bit better than the older models except that it requires fast SD cards especially if using 60FPS I have seen it said that you can actullay get better results at 30FPS and at night the faster setting puts a fair bit of pixellation in the video as it cant write fast enough.
As I rarely go out at night i havent yet tested it.

I’m a little confused as you say you turn off the G Sensor ? Then how would you no if there had been a event .i think I’m right in saying it will record, but how would you no ?.
