Sucks
This vacuum has great suction power as you would expect from Bosch and for the price charged (not cheap).
The bag holds a huge amount, which is great after my previous bagless vacuum, that needed frequent emptying.
There is a big drawback however, which bugs me every time I use the vacuum. The accessory tools are poorly designed and feel quite flimsy, they do not hold on to the wand firmly without unnecessary movement. They seem a bit of an afterthought and don't perform their functions particularly well. This is a constant annoyance for me and I am tempted to look for something else that can do the "fiddly bits".
Based on this I would not recommend Bosch vacuums to anyone.

Great vacuum on hard floors
I bought this based on online reviews to get a good performing vacuum at a reasonable price. We mostly have hard floors and it's been great with very good pick up at walls & in corners. After putting up with cheap [censored word removed] vacuums it's nice to have one doesn't have to be hand fed the fluff.
Great suction, even against walls & in corners.
The bag light seems to work best on carpet floors.

broke within 3 months and nearest service centre in Bankstown
I purchased this vacuum cleaner on the basis of a recommendation in Choice. It functions well but within three months the plastic holder to for the wand had broken and the indicator light to show the bag needed changing never worked at all. I called Bosch to find out what I could do and they told me I would need to take it to their only service centre which is at Bankstown, over 1.5 hours away by car. The warranty is completely useless if you can't get it to a service centre in some reasonable proximity and I would not buy any Bosch product again on this basis.
vacuum function great when it works, excellent service from Appliances Online
terrible warranty service, no network of approved service agents around Sydney
