PSR 14.4 LI-2

PSR 14.4 LI-2: inserted a new and fully charged battery pack, pressing Run button the device only flashes white LED once.
With previous battery everythin ok.
Any idea ?
NB: measured voltage on battery pack + to -
A: contacts towards device: old 16.4V, new 16.7V
B: contacts towards charger: old 14.3V, new 13.7V

I found the solution
Resitantance between Minus and next contact versus Drill is currently 3.17 KOhm. Too less.
Drill works with a rerstistor in Accu within range 3.2 to 3.4 KOhms.
I will replace the resistor by one of 3.3 KOhm
Thanks for your attentions

My PSR18Li-2 burned out, when I pressed the trigger. Is there a an ability to by a 14,4 single. Otherwise I have to shift over to 18 Lo-2?
Where can I by a 14,4 single drill?

Dont think they sell singles in 14.4 probably best looking on ebay/ gumtree for second hand or upgrade.

I have a bosch psr 14.4 all lights are flashing when I press the trigger the manual says that the overload protection is activated what does this mean?

I've just glanced at the manual and it sounds like there's an inbuilt protection against overloading the drill (ie too much torque on the motor therefore too much current required). It also says something about thermal overload protection too (ie overuse of the motor - my shredder has one which prevents it turning on after about 10 min of continuous use). It prevents the motor from burning out.

I've never experienced this so I'm not sure if this helps.

I have experienced the flashing light a number of times when: a) I am drilling larger diameter deep holes in hardwood without adequately clearing the swarth from the helix. or b) when I use a larger diameter tungsten tip drill bit in cement. Both are high load apps. If the light is flashing when the drill not under load, it is clearly faulty. I have not seen this problem yet. Sorry i can't assist you.

I have a different model to yours (18v) and this problem does not occur with it. If this happens when the drill is not under stress or heavy load, It would suggest an abnormal problem requiring advice from the manufacturer.
