Hi, I have a Bosch front loader washing machine, wak24160au.
Today, it would not work, no lights, no movement, dead.
Its only a few years old, and was wondering if there was a fuse, that I could replace.
I took the top cover off, but could not see anything. Any ideas?

Jill, I do not know anything about the dryer you have but seems strange after 2 runnings it is still not dry. try the dry setting - if not get them to check it out.as they Suppose to provide good service to customers- good luck

No help thanks. The dryest setting is "Cupboard Dry" and that still does not dry sufficiently to put in a cupboard without mould developing. Do you even know your product and it's instruction panel?

Hi, I'm thinking to buy a Bosch oven but having concerns after reading the reviews here. While all brands can have faulty products, it seems Bosch's customer service is less than ideal. Most people here mentioned they got no call back or follow up from Bosch after reporting a problem. Seems going public with negative reviews is the only way to get their attention. Is this a norm of Bosch's customer service?

Sadly yes. I was without a fridge for 6 weeks! That's right 6 weeks. No call backs no nothing. I have heard from electrical appliance dealers that Bosch is outsourcing its fridges etc to third parties and just badging them as a Bosch. My sisters oven door fell off.. Also a Bosch. As I chef I'd recommend a Miele oven. They are amazing and top quality.

Hmm, Bosch don't even mind the public criticism - it doesn't change how they do business.
The end to my disaster was- they refused to replace/ repair the fridge even under warranty, they offered a cash refund but minus my Gst and my delivery expenses. They did it on the condition I wait 2 weeks for them to collect the old fridge and a further 2 weeks for their 'banking day.' They refuse to call me about my food claim and deny getting the multiple copies of claim emails.
An expensive lesson in the consequences of buying a foreign brand.

I have had a Bosch washing machine for 5 years. The product is good, no questions about that, but all mechanics end up failing and mine did 3 months before the extended warranty did. The machine had been bought at The Good Guys and they referred us to the service company which sent an "expert". After three or four "experts" visits the machine was repaired by exchanging "the brain" = program control I guess. This was two months after our first call and a month after we had started using a local washing centre while the machine at home did not work. This repair worked for a whole month before we had the exact same problem again i.e. the program starts then stops two or three minutes into the cycle. By now the extended warranty period has expired and the service company denied to do anything. We turned to Bosch -- a further month of writing and re-explaining our woes to different Bosch staff who seemingly did not communicate between themselves. Eventually Bosch referred us to The Good Guys who again referred us to the Service company who sent out the "last visit's expert" again. He "evaluated the machine and "judged it" to yes have the same fault again, but now caused by a faulty motor WHICH WAS A NEW DEVELOPMENT and consequently the machine would not be repaired under warranty. ---- DO NOT BUY BOSCH their after-service in this country is horrible.
