My shots are tasting very bitter all of a sudden have had the machine about 4 months any recommendations on how to fix this? Thank you

I’d dry giving it a good clean. If you haven’t descaled it, I’d give that a try and give the steam wand a good clean too.

Did is stuck in and we can't get it out. The lever to access it also won't open right up so we can access it...

Sounds like you pod tray is over full with used pods and there’s one stuck under the handle.
I had this issue. I gently forced the lever up
and it forced the pod free then you can remove the tray by by wiggling it out.
I know the handle feels stuck and won’t go
Up any further. But if it’s a stuck pod. It will.
Just gently force it past the stuck point.
Good luck. I did this when I had the same issue and it worked fine. Lesson learnt. Always empty the used pod tray before it fills up.
Hope this helps you out.
Hi Maggie. Spell check! I meant pod! The pod tray was empty..we are at a B+ B and went to make a coffee...the first of our stay. We will gently try and push the lever up but are terrified of breaking anything. Thank you...
If I’ve interpreted this right I think you have a stuck coffee pod. If you can’t jiggle the pod tray out just pull the handle up and it will force the pod through. I know it feels like it’s stuck because I’ve had it happen to me. Just push the handle up slowly till the pod is forced out and try jiggling the full pod tray out as you gently pull up the handle. Hope this helps. It worked for me.

I have descaled my Nespresso Breville Creatista and cleaned steam wand but continues to say "go to maintenance" clean steam wand!!

Fred (see below) says . Nespresso said to go to maintenance- clean steam wand and press start. That solved his problem. Failing that try unplugging it from the wall, then plug it back in again. If this fails it might be worth calling Nespresso.
What is Nespresso contact number

My steam wand has stopped stemming
1 answer
It may just be blocked unscrew it and using the little attachment that is under the water container clean out the steam holes. Perhaps if you haven’t descaled it in a while give that a go to. The instructions are in the manual. Or go to maintenance on the machine and it will guide you step by step.

my beville BNE 800 creatista will not get out of the descaling cycle. I have gone through the cycle about 8 times and it still will not let me back to normal function. I do not skip any section when I go through the descaling cycle.

Have you tried unplugging it from the wall waiting 20 seconds or so and plugging it back in.
Same problem for me. Very annoying. Locked in descaling mode. Help

I’ve not had a problem with mine sorry. But my daughter did have some issue with her steam wand after she’d had it almost a year. Mind you, they use it constantly so it’s done well. But they rang Nespresso and they replaced the machine. Give Nespresso a call.
Or if it’s the little rubber ring inside the wand, then any plumbing/ hardware shop will replace it for under a $1.
Thank You for the advice will try that. I m from India lets see if i get it here

I have had my machine for a little over a year. It all of a sudden stopped pumping water for either coffee or steam. I can hear the pump working but nothing happens. I suspect there is air in the line but I can't find anything on how to clear it. Has anyone had this problem? I have called the help line and have done all of their recommended steps without anything changing. I have descaled it multiple times since getting it.

It's under warranty. Call Nespresso directly and they should take care of it for you.

My Creatista is not working properly,it just works a few seconds when I try to make coffe, and then I need to push The button again, I tried to reset the machine and I tried to decycle the machine nothing help ... any ideas?
1 answer
My suggestion would be to ring Nespresso 24hr help line and ask for technical advice and let them go through a complete reset of the machine. If it still doesn’t work then they will advise you what they will do to fix it. It will also depends if your machine is still under warranty and what costs are involved if your warranty has expired.

I have recently brought a creatista plus as my latisma touch had wore out.. finding the coffe is a lot weaker in the new machine then in the old machine. Is there something I can do to get the coffee stronger?
1 answer
Depends on what coffee you are making. I find that if you like black coffee and you want a good size go with Nespresso Lungo range of coffee. If you use the pod more than once the taste is bitter and then you do get weak coffee. Personally I have my settings on lungo and on the highest volume setting. Then I press the start with no pod just water only I do this twice then I place a pod in the press start. I get a rich hot coffee. I don’t use the milk wand as I just have black coffee. But if I did I would go with a espresso half size then froth the milk once finish tap it then do it again. I saw this on YouTube.

Hello, has anyone else had their machine continually tell them to 'clean steam wand'- I've cleaned it many times and had no problems and now it won't go away- the funny thing is on the steam purge it works perfectly and stills froths milk.

Yes Sofia, I have this problem. I have contacted the tech’ dept at Nespresso and carried out the instructions they gave, namely to descale the machine again without descale fluid, but the machine still flashes the ‘Go to maintenance’ message. Every thing still functions ok, so I’m at a loss as to remedying the fault.
Thanks Graham... I sent it back for repair and it has come back good as new... so fingers crossed.
Good luck Sophia. We had/have the same problem. The 'clean steam wand' message comes up continually, despite going to maintenance settings/performing wand cleaning/descaling. We called Nespresso whom agreed to service it. We were without the machine for a week, then got it back with a repot that it had needed de-scaling, though we do this more than it requests. Two weeks after the maintenance the same problem re-occured. We're descaling weekly at the moment, but either the Nespresso de-scale solution is not very effective -- or there is another problem..

After just barely 1 year my machine started leaking water from the bottom! I guess a seal popped. It's never been moved from where it was set except for cleaning. What is the warranty on factory defects?
1 answer
12 months full warranty. Ring Nespresso 24hr customer service centre to arrange a pick up for repairs and a coffee machine will also be delivered to you as a temporary replacement. All free. In my case I also received a box of pods as a thank you for purchase.

Hi - I have the lovely Breville Creatista (blueberry) - I use zymill for my milk and the frothing works well. What is the best setting for almond milk frothing? Has anyone had success with that? Seems to just overflow the container.

I have now gone through 3 descale procedures which end with discard contents and it still wants me to descale grrrr Yes I have read manual followed steps and watched a video, put it’s like it’s locked into a continuous descale cycle. Any ideas? please help

That's where I am right now. What did you do? I can't exit or switch to settings. Just keeps telling me to descale and allows me to do so, just won't go away afterwards.

Is anyone finding their Creatista is a bit more watery or weaker than made in store, despite making the same settings as they do in store?
1 answer
Hi Jennifer, no ours is always consistent relevant to pod varieties chosen. I regularly use almond milk and skim as well as light milks too as well as espresso no milk coffees and they always deliver consistency. Perhaps query on line may solve your findings.

Hi,
I am trying to find a replacement for the steam nozzle tip which was accidentally damaged while cleaning but having real difficult getting the part. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Marty
1 answer
Hi Marty, If your Creatista Plus is still under (the 2 yr) warranty I would guess the steam nozzle issue could be resolved (or at the very least replaced). Perhaps contact Breville/Nespresso online for advice if you haven’t already done so. Our machine is only a couple of months old so haven’t any issues (touch wood). Sorry I’m not much help but good luck in your search.

Our machine is less than a year old and won't make any coffee larger than a ristretto... on any setting.
What to do?
2 answers
Hey Ben, did you contact Nespresso to access the issue? I haven’t use that long yet. But I would call them straight away if any issue, is your machine still under warranty? Normally it’s under 2 year warranty.
Hi Ben, that's not good. Just like Bo k mentioned, I'd be contacting place of purchase, Nespresso/Breville perhaps Nespresso online or even a Nespresso Boutique for advice ( we have one in a local shopping centre). Their knowledge of machines are very good in the one we walked into. No doubt they'd refer you to Breville cause it would definitely be still under warranty cause it's less than 2 yrs old. Apparently you can even get a loan machine whilst one is getting fixed thru the on-line Nespresso. Trusting it all works out for you. !!
