It was by the far the cheapest option for my insurance requirements - third party car insurance. The process to purchase was easy. First time using this company, not sure if the claim process lives up the initial service (and hopefully I won’t have to find out!)

Seems cheap and easy that's the service you get returned! Dont go near these scum. Great until you need them. I also had travel insurance with them that was no better!!!

I saved money on my policy, which provided me with the flexibility I needed. The staff were easy to deal with and very friendly. They resolved my issue in a timely manner.

I Changed to budget direct because premium quote was half the price of current insurer, didn't expect that! Online process was really easy, would recommend to others to give it a try.

I got multiple quotes on line and by calling the insurance company I have been a customer for about 20 continous years and they could not match your quote.

Compared to other major competitors, BD was a lot cheaper and was very easy to set up. I have only had the policy for a month or so, so haven’t made any claims to know how well they handle the claims process.

Despicable business. They have no interest in honouring their policy, just keep telling you they cannot help and a manager won’t even make time to speak to you. Stranded with a breakdown with a new problem and they’re not interested as they have already provided a tow in the past. When questioning the lady when purchasing the product she assured me they will tow if a new problem occurred. A new problem has occurred and they just fob you off. Stay away from this company I will be telling everyone I know to do the same.

I went through the extensive process of quote and then went to accept the quote when there were many more questions and as I didn't understand how to proceed on a question about the cost of repairs I rang up and asked Budget Direct and was locked out of quote online. The question was answered and I would have been able to continue but the person on the line said I had to do it thorough him on the phone. Which meant going through more questions about id etc that I didn't want to spend time on. It is intrusive and so I am not continuing with the policy which I was about to purchase. From reading other reviews I am glad!

Budget were the cheapest insurance available online. The photo inspection was easy to do - so at this stage I have no complaints.

After being with them for a year and sold the car, I decided to cancel the policy so I called and requested politely. I was told I have to pay a cancellation fee, when I politely asked why, I was then told in a condescending manner that all information were on the PDS, I should have read before agreed to join. What a sucker punch to the stomach. Saying stuff like that is awful, explain in a better way would make the whole experience different.
Guess what budgetdirect, you have just lost 2 customers and we are never coming back to you.

This is my first time with Budget but these guys gave me the best price and their customer service is fabulous. I accidentally picked up wrong starting date and they fixed it in minutes .

Despite bad phone reception (live semi rural), the consultant was patient & very helpful.
The policy was exactly what I needed & applied for,
I wasn’t harassed into cover I didn’t require.

It’s good value policy and I am satisfied with it so far. But one thing doesn’t seems fair which is charging extra if you choose to pay monthly. I am not happy with this. If I pay once off payment it’s less but if I can’t pay once off then I have to pay extra money which is not fair.
