Lee and Josh were very polite, particular about washing hands before handing curtains and cleaned up before leaving, happy to recommend them to anyone.
Terrible
Would never recommend! They were 14 days over due with making them and then when it came time to install they cancelled on we twice! When they arrived they complained how long it took them to get here! Once installed the sliding doors are flimsy, don’t shut properly. I had to run out after the installer to come back and fix the door that he knew wouldn’t close properly. Their lack of competence and communication (ie; only calling the customer once and when the customer calls back they have no idea what the call was about)! Do yourself a favour and buy through a competent company

Looks modern and contemporary, fits in window nicely.
Love the blind although disappointed that controls weren't as stated and requested on my signed order. Installer was great and arrived early.

Stay clear - Beyond non existent customer service!
It's easy not to look past Burns for Blinds, their adverts are plastered on TV, you'd be forgiven for considering them a recognized SA name.
Beyond the marketing and lovely sounding sales people, it's a completely dysfunctional, uncoordinated and broken organisation to say the least. From the time you sign that contract, the customer service is completely non existent - and that's not an understatement!

Read moreithin my budget. The nice sales person [Name Removed], convinced me that he could do a good deal on plantation shutters. My concern is how long it would take, but [Name Removed] assured me it'll only be 10 weeks. I raised concern that I have nothing on my windows, which he suggested I could just get some cheap curtains from Spotlight in the meantime. I reconfirmed with him that it'll be 10 weeks, and he said yep, if I sign the contract & contact the office to pay the office today, he'll be able to get me in on the shipment in 10 weeks. So I reluctantly agreed. Once I signed the contract & paid deposit, I was told I'd hear from them to arrange the final check & measure. Then the first radio silence began. The first few weeks ticked by until out of the blue I get a rushed phone call from a lady saying "we're coming on X date for the check & measure" which was another few more weeks away. She sounded very automated but I thought fair enough, it's a basic appointment to sort out. Then 10 minutes later, I get the same call, again, from the same lady, with the same automated response... but I don't think she realized she'd already spoken to me 10 minutes earlier. So I played dumb, as to not embarrass her and agreed again. Those few weeks passed, and the day before my final check & measure appointment, SA went into a snap lockdown. I didn't hear anything from Burns for Blinds, no phone call or even an email update, so I assumed they must've still been coming. I waited around on the day, but 'obviously' nobody showed up. Ok fair enough, a lockdown is out of their control. Surely they'll call me in the coming days to apologise & reschedule.Outstanding quality of blinds

Stay Away from Burns for Blinds!!!!!
I started with the order in Feb 2021...it is now Nov 2021 & my order has now been finished. From the start I should have read the reviews and STAYED AWAY. There are too many instances to list here of how many times they scheduled someone to come & I got the excuse "the installer is away sick" or they tell you when they are available and made it very difficult to work in with my schedule. They cancelled a simple install on part of the order 3 x weeks in a row until I spat my dummy & refused to reschedule a 3rd time. The sales team - fantastic...the operational team - abysmal. Calls not returned and incorrect information supplied.
Do yourself a favour and take a WIDE BIRTH AND DO NOT - I REPEAT - DO NOT use this company !!!!!!!!!!

Roller Blind Installation
Thank you so much Adam for the installation of our new roller blinds. Great job, you were so very pleasant and friendly and even took our old blinds away for us. Great Service.
Outdoor awning looks fabulous and does a great job!
Burns for blinds were easy to deal with and helped us choose the right awning for our needs with no pressure. The installer Adam was on time, friendly, efficient and explained how to best use the blind. Would highly recommend.
The awning was little more expensive than I thought however it appears well made compared to some.

Found the men who installed my blind very polite and respectful to my property, and worked quickly and thoroughly making this service a really great service
Unorganised
We had installers from burns for blinds come out 4 times to try install one blind, with each time a part missing and the job not being able to be completed. Vinny who was our final installer was great to deal with and finished off the blind for us finally.
PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE, you'll regret using BURNS for BLINDS!
Service at the start was great.
Let's just say first install was in May 2021 and I'm still waiting and its October 26th 2021.
No end of installers not showing up and when they do they forget tracks or blinds. When they finally get the things they forgotten it turns out blinds were incorrectly measured and had to be sent back and re-made taking a further few months. Turns out no one put in the new measurements and forgot to order the new blinds so I'm still waiting.....
To add to this now the blind is ready I have to go through the terrible ...

Issues with the advice and installation.
The blind over the sliding door and front window were too long, had the issue reviewed by Burns for Blind and when the service person came out he just raised each vertical - so simple to fix. The blind over the sliding door the cord to open them was hanging down. Was asked if I wanted it fixed to the wall and I advise no but didn't understand the cord would hang down and they must be attached to the wall. Why was I asked if I wanted it done. The old verticals had a weight - I was not advise they don't come with weights now. Issues that could have been alleviated if installed properly eg length and not asked about fitting to the wall.

We had our windows measured by Bruno.
We got a phone call stating what day and time the installation would be and they would call the day before installation day to confirm. They never called the day before and we rang them and no answer and no call back. Husband took the day off of work to have the blinds installed and they never turned up. They eventually called on the day saying the installer was 'sick' and would come the following week. Husband lost a day of work for nothing and Burns for Blinds kept makin...

Horrible service
Hercules is the man came to measure my windows. It was all fine but he promised me to send me a quote on the day, but 3 weeks has passed, I heard nothing from him. Called several times, finally he called me back and told me he had send it and would resend it. I believed him, but another 2 weeks passed, I keep checking both my emails every day. Guess what ? Nothing. I feel they don’t have much about me as a customer. Maybe they just have too many customers so they don’t really care. Anyway, i definitely not going back to them.

Simple job but executed flawlessly
Burns for Blinds have just opened an outlet on Sturt Road Seacombe Gardens, across from Marion Shopping Centre. I took that opportunity to replace blinds in my kitchen. This was 15 minutes to measure twice, 15 minutes to install, and every aspect of the work done and finished within 4 weeks (allowing time to manufacture). Perfect response, and great blinds.

Worst service ever
We had a quote for three screen doors. The man who quoted was great but all down hill from there . They called to say they were installing the doors and to pay the balance. When installation came a week later . The installer arrived at 8 am and found the doors had scratches on them and only had two doors not three . I received a call from the manager who offered numerous excuses as to why the third door hadn’t turned up . A second appt was made to install the doors . Never do business with burns for blinds as there communication is terrible and making you pay for something that clearly was not made is illegal and he been reported. I now see why they have taken the review section off there Facebook page as would be full of one star reviews . Management need to look at quality control and themselvesDan did an excellent job.
