Good Afternoon Bob
You will find under the glass of the heater there is a fascia panel. By removing this you will find you units compliance plate which will have the model number.

If your unit is older than 2009, you may also find a copy of this in the back of your user manual.

Hi Steve
Thank you for your question. The reason the logs are not turning red is the burner bed in which the flames comes from, is in a pattern around the log set, it does not go through it.

Does that mean it is safe to use. It is not a free standing fire but in the wall.

Hello Jenny, The Cannon inbuilt gas log heater can be installed into an existing fireplace or a fabricated fireplace, however it must have a flue attached which terminates to atmosphere. It must be installed by an authorized person in accordance with manufacturers installation instructions and Australian Standards. Kind Regards Cannon Appliances.

Hello L Tan, the costs associated with the installation of a Freestanding heater can vary from home to home. Materials such as gas fitting components, does a gas line need to be run to the heater? Penetration of ceiling and roof need to be considered, is heater going to be installed in a single or double story dwelling? It is recommend that you obtain some quotes from licensed plumber/gasfitters.
