Hi Verno,
Thank you for you enquiry regarding the warranty on our Razorback mowers.
The warranty is provided by SME Mowers with support from the manufacturer in Japan.
The engine is warranted by the respective engine manufacturer.
If you would like a copy of the Warranty Statement, please email [email protected], as unfortunately it can't be attached here.

Kind Regards,

Good luck getting answers. They ignore emails. Contact details are a waste of time. I have bad feelings for ongoing support etc.

Hello Sarah,
Thanks for your question, the OHV cover is the top of the engine. This is where the engine oil is added. The instructions on engine oil can be found in the owner's manual.
Hope this helps, if you have any further questions please reply here, or contact us on 1800 088 567 or [email protected].

All Terrain CMX227

I have just purchased a CMX227 to replace a Masport Crossjet 4wd and have found that there a number of steep areas that the Crossjet mowed quite comfortably either up or down slope that the CMX227 in AWD & difflock on struggles to gain traction uphill and will slide downhill, the tyres on the CMX seem to have plenty of tread, my question is are there alternative tyre options that might give increased grip, this is mainly on the edges of the grassed areas where the tyres are in dirt that the traction becomes a problem

Hello Rob,

Thank you for your enquiry.
Replacing the wheel bearing on a Razorback inst a common issue with these machine and to ensure the longevity of your machine we would prefer that you have the trained technicians at your local dealer look at this. If your machine is still within warranty period, this could potentially void warranty if not performed by your local dealer.
However if you would like to contact us off line on 1800 088 567 we can discuss this with you further.
Thank you and have a good day.
