My elderly mum wants to get laser on her chin for hair removal however her hairs are white. I was told earlier this year through one of your clinics they had a new machine which could do this however on phoning yesterday they now tell me they don't have this machine after all. Can you recommend anywhere she can get this apart from having electrolysis please.

I had the Acne treatment last night and immediately after came up in lumps. This is the third time I have had this done and it's never happens before.

I came into the salon with no active pimples and probably the best my skin has been in ages and now feel like my skin is the worst it has ever been. Do you have any advice?

I'm so sorry for the delay in this response!
SGA treatment can bring out some swelling in the skin as it is targeting and relieving the underlying cysts from the skin. The swelling will subside and the congestion will be clear :-)
Looking forward to seeing the skin next visit!

Sorry for the delay. We have ZipPay conveniently available for cosmetic injecting with Clearskincare Clinics nurses only but not for nurses that are contracted in from third-party companies.

I hope this helps you and looking forward to seeing you again for your next appointment!

Hello
I want to get electrolysis hair removal for my chin. I am just wandering are you guys certified to do it? How many years of experience does the girls have who do electrolysis? And also how many clients these girls have actually treated with electrolysis? I am really concerned because its my first time and I am really hoping for good results. But I have done a bit of research about electrolysis :(
Can I get free consultation to discuss my chin hair concerns. Thanks :)

Hi Jodie,

Our therapists used to offer electrolysis, however, as it is no longer in demand it is only offered at very select Clearskincare Clinics. Which clinic are you closest to?

My skin has started to look crepey/papery since starting using your products a month ago. I use hydrapeel, sunscreen and bb cream in the morning. And the toner (every other night) and 2% at night. How can I make my skin more hydrated?

1 answer
Clearskincare Clinics
Clearskincare C.Clearskincare Clinics

Hi Charlo,

Thanks so much for your question!
It sounds like your skin is in need of some moisture. The products you are on at the moment have great active ingredients to help smooth and clear you complexion but there does need to be something being applied daily to provide vital moisture and hydration for optimum skin health. We have a great and ultra hydrating product called Moisture + cream. Perhaps swap out the Hydrapeel with the pure Hyaluronic Acid serum every now and then to supplement the skin with extra moisture and hydration under the Moisture + cream.

Hope that helps!

Call us anytime or pop in to your local clinic if you need any further assistance.

Have a great day! :-)

my daughter had acne on her forehead. a tiny bit of the salicylic acid on her forehead for 3 days at night only which dried out the pimples. she continued to use her sunblock on her face during the day. i would not use the products every day and only one product not the other product at the same time- too harsh i think. it would not be breaking out more but just appears to be as the pimples are under the skin too and then become visble i know that seafood and spinach and chocolate causes breakouts for many people.

Hi there, it is normal for your skin to be a little pink and or tender after a treatment or after using new products, if it gets worse I would call the clinic and ask their advice, despite my experience with their Chatswood clinic I have had lots of positive experiences in their other clinics and am a fan of a couple of their products to use at home. Hope this helps

Good Afternoon Min,

Thank you for your question. This reaction is not unusual when introducing new active products into your skin care program, if the redness does not subside or continues to feel irritated we may need to review or adjust her product range. I have sent you a private message to follow up.

Hi Laaylay,

Our mole removal procedure does have a low risk of scarring but cannot be fully guaranteed. We do offer free consultations, which will allow one of our senior therapists to look over the area and give you an expectation of how it may look afterwards.

You can call to book a free consultation on 1300 442 632

DO NOT get your moles removed from this place. I had six removed about 5 days ago, done in 20 minutes and sent on my way with no aftercare instructions or products to keep it safe - just told it would look white and heal up. I now have five gaping black, pus filled wounds on my face and one on my neck that my doctor has warned will need surgery to fix. I'm a nurse so pretty aware of cleanliness and hygiene so kept on top of disinfection but my face is currently completely ruined. No after appt booked by them either.

The Brazilian treatment can cover as much or as little as you like. Some clients like to remove everything and others like to have some hair remaining. The treatment also includes the perianal area.

Hi, I had my KTP laser treatment on my face 3 days ago to remove hyperpigmentation. I was explained the risks but I wasn't clarified what to do in the event of those risks, like swelling, redness and itching. Also I was given the impression that there would be NO downtime but I have had really sore swollen cheeks and forehead for 3 days, almost blistery and lumpy and some white spots. I cannot apply any make up like advised to cover this, it would only make it worse because I would need to clean it off and irritate the sore skin more. So I think the NO downtime that was told to me, may only apply for some people not everyone which the staff need to clarify. I have applied the PIH mask as recommended, it soothes my face for a little while but I am in discomfort most of the time. Can you advise remedies and if this is normal or considered an allergic reaction? I have 2 more treatments to go and if this is the downtime needed, I want to know the honest truth.

Good Morning,

Apologies you have had an uncomfortable reaction. As you mentioned KTP usually has very minimal downtime following treatments, however slight redness and slight itchiness on the treated areas are not uncommon. I understand both the Area Manager and Doctor are currently in contact with you.

We hope to have this resolved for you ASAP.
