Where's the rubber???
Ordered some good tyres a few weeks ago and haven't seen anythig as yet??? Got a email saying they were despatched 7 days after I ordered them and still nothing....... I forwarded the website to a "new" rider for some stuff on his Xmas bike and it tool nearly 3 weeks to get 2 bottle holders. Not really good enough on despatching and responsiveness.
Have to say pricing is very competitive so there are always trade offs :)

Purchased Azzuri Forza Di2 bike. Took a week to deliver. Purchased another $1k worth of goods in store. Didn't want to price match and guaranteed price was not dearer than Wiggle or Cell bikes which turned out to be not true, leaving me $300 out of pocket. When queried, said that they would charge for the time to purchase the $1k worth of goods thus there was no credit, although acknowledged that they were indeed $300 more expensive.

Read moreely tight' and bike itself was 'not set up properly', especially the chain and brakes. This was upsetting as they had assured that everything was 100%. I have not been able to reach them thus far with phone calls to their store ringing out and emails to them not since having any replies. Bike itself is good value but I visited the bikes.com.au store in prahran who have a similar product, as do cellbikes.com.au. Bikes.com.au Prahran store picks up phone calls and returns emails, and also fits products for free, which is also listed on their website. They were also very patient in taking queries despite not having had a sale which I believe is excellent customer service. Have since swapped frame out for a super light carbon frame and found to be much stiffer, more confident downhill and substantially more comfortable so there is room to improve on the frame.- 4 reviews

Never again
Have tried them twice and have given up. First time was charged postage twice for adding an item to my existing order. Phoned prior to make sure this wouldn't happen and was told it would be adjusted by them, never happened and everything arrived in the same box in one delivery. Couldn't be bothered chasing up $10 so forgot about it. Now been waiting 3 weeks for an order of which everything was listed as in stock on their website. I live less than an hour away by road and closer to the CBD than they are located and can only get computer generated emails as a reply. Folks do your self a favour and stick to overseas websites, at least they are interested in keeping you as a customer.
Service is non-existant. Delivery times ridiculous.
No shoes !
Ordered cycling shoes from cycling express on the 7th December and still haven't received them yet its been 3 weeks ! I spoke to the girl at cycling express and she said that they were ordered ! What you haven't got them in stock ! No she replayed ! So I rang a week later ! Spoke to one of the guys in their make believe office on Thursday the 20th yeh we have your item in the back we will express post it to you today ! And still haven't got my item !
I'm annoyed.

Shipped to the wrong address
Bought an item from cycling express to give as a present. They sent a order confirmation with the correct delivery address, but then shipped the item across the country to the wrong address.
No offer for any kind of help with sending the item back etc.
Won't be using this company ever again. Wiggle all the way.

nothing for 3 weeks and then an email giving a refund
Terrible! ordered through them as I need things quickly and they were 'Australian'
No shipment and no contact for 2 weeks then I emailed and then the said they didn't realise stock wasn't coming in and couldn't fill my order. I told them to replace the item they couldn't ship and send it asap and they shai 'no trouble'. A week later I get and email from a 'no reply' address saying they could fill my order and they were refunding the whole thing.

Purchased an Azzurri Mezzo from cycling express
This is a review i wrote about Azzurri Mezzo 90 i purchased from cycling express about one month ago - could not be happier. The frame is very similar in responsiveness to my cervelo and is more comfortable to ride. I had not ridden an azzurri before so this was my first experience with the brand (and with cyclingexpress.com who sell azzurri).
Overall very pleease with the transaction and that i didn't hand over a bunch of money for a product that was worth what I was paying as you get great value with the mezzo. Overall weight of my bike with my zipp wheels is just a smidge over 6kg. Overall very pleased.
Good qaulity bike that is better value for money than anything i could find elsewhere

Slow service and don't answer emails.
It is 3 weeks since I placed an order for 2 sets of cycling clothes. I still haven't received them. They have refunded 1 item they couldn't supply but I am still waiting the for remainder to arrive. I have bought items from UK and China and received them much quicker and received far more communication throughout the process. I won't buy from them again.

The whole cycling express team have been excellent, I purchased my first road bike from there over a year ago now, and i still get a lot of my merchandise and equipment through their store, both in store and online and have managed to make me very happy with my products i have bought.They have been great help giving me help and advice about my bike, i will continue to use their services, and highly recommend them to anyone i talk to.

Really bad service.
I purchased a Azzuri Forza from them a little while back. The bike took a while to come (stuff I ordered from the UK a couple of days afterwards came quicker) and I had some issues with my credit card being over charged, 3 months later they still wont refund me the money to my card, instead they will only give store credit! They are very quick to take your money but will not answer my emails or return my calls. Service is near on non existent which is a real shame as I try to support Aussie business, but I think I will now look elsewhere.

Don't bother, quicker from the UK
It takes these guys longer to get gear less than 20kms from their factor to my place than it does for their competitors to ship from the UK!
Just because it’s listed on the website doesn’t mean they actually have it in stock and can ship, obviously they have a poor inventory/computer system. If you don’t have it in stock and can’t supply it in a reasonable time then don’t make it available on the website and don’t charge customers’ credit cards until its ready to be shipped. You can’t cancel orders either.

I gave them a go and tried to support a local Aussie business but it’s not worth the agro, never again & will be closing my account.Couldn’t be happier
My partner and I purchased 2 racers from these guys a couple of months ago.
I’ve had many bikes over the years and loved what these guys had to offer, GREAT quality products and fantastic prices, I have not found any ware else.
I have recommended them to a lot of people already and will continue to do so.
I’m looking to purchase a Tri bike next year and will definitely be going through cycling express.

so far pleased with my wheels
so far pleased with my azzurri wheels i picked up from these guys two months ago after being recommended by a friend at my cycling club. done lots of k's on this baby and shown a few friends who were amazed by the price I got these for which is cheaper than overseas so can't complain about anything yet but if anything comes up I'll let you know

No customer service
I have ordered from this shop multiple times however the last time I had a horrible experience. I ordered a bike from them, in the ordering process I asked for a few things (that werent specified) eg cassette and crank size. I never heard anything about this and the bike came with all of those items not as I requested. Also on recieving the bike I found the skewer was loose and in the delivery process it had scratched my bike and the nut on one end had been lost. When I asked for a replacement skewer they promised it to me however it never came, and they have since started ignoring my emails. The delivery took a long time for the bike also I have had much faster delivery from the UK.

my recent experience was very positive. i ordered wrong size shoes with my bike, they were happy to swap. I sent back and about 1 week from sending i had the shoes. i rang them prior to returning and they gave me a return number, not sure if that helped my return process quicker? anyway i would shop there again.

I did not have the same problems as some others here regarding delivery time and returns policy. I have purchased numerous items and all have arrived within 2-5 working days. I recently returned an item because I changed my mind. I called them and service was friendly and cheerful on the phone. Follow up emails were replied to within 30mins. They even gave me a store credit (upon request) because I bought a pre-order item that subsequently became further discounted. I would have no problem purchasing from them again. In particular because they are an Australian company.

Disappointed with the service to say the least. Ordered 2 weeks ago and still have not received the order. Originally said accidentally sent order to wrong address. Now doesnt reply to emails. Avoid at all cost if you can. Though prices seem ok you are better off with other websites.

Don't Even Bother
Used these guys a couple of times with very slow delivery times considering they have the item in stock and I live in the same State. This time they messed up my order twice and honestly I could not be bothered going to the post office to return it for the second time. I will take a loss on this one and use the very reliable online stores in the UK.

Hassel free returns what a load of junk. Returned a product due to cycling express sending the wrong sized item. Heard nothing from them after sending numerous emails and phone calls after 4 weeks. I have purchased from them before and items are delivered longer than what you expect from the UK. Items on website do not match actual stock is the reason for long delays. You might as well buy from reputable overseas companies that offer genuine returns, accurate stock and answer your emails. Use this company at your own peril.

Poor customer service
I placed an order online for the wrong size bike. They promised me a refund so I went on to place another order for the right size. When I placed the orders, I opted for pick up (which is free of charge) instead of delivery (which costs $49). When the refund arrived in my bank account, it was $49 short, and they never explained to me the reasons. I emailed the manager a couple of times before I got any response. Update Your Stock Online
This is the second time I have ordered from Cycling Express and both times the item has not been in stock despite it showing to the contrary online.
The first time, after many e-mails, I was told the items were shipped to them incorrectly and then I was advised that the particular item was unavailable. This process took over a week.
The second time I was sent a copy of my order, including the out of stock items, to advise that it had shipped. I then was sent another e-mail two hours later that the stock was unavailable and a credit had been issued. Frustrating!
Please update your website as it’s one thing to have great prices but the inability to follow up or provide said items will damage your reputation.

I have ordered twice online from this company. First order took 4 weeks to arrive. Second order 3 weeks. Cheaper and faster to order from overseas.
Second order included a Lezyne pump which seized after being used twice and a pair of gloves whose stitching came undone. Personally returned to store. Was told they needed to examine the goods (why? They were clearly faulty!) and they would contact me during the week. That was a month ago. An email enquiry after 2 weeks through my account was met with silence. I am giving them another week then I am going back to the store and demanding a refund. Then I will boycot them.

By elsewhere bought form these guys twice- 1st time long delay and the promised discount code never worked, I ordered goods the same day from Wiggle Uk and the Uk goods beat cycling express by 5 days. 2nd time - the lube purchased came with the lid undone and leaked everywhere in package - first of all they (cycling express) pretended it was shipped from the manufacturer even though they had earlier confirmed they shipped it and when I suggested they send a replacement they hung up on me and then never responded to my email complaint.

There service was fantastic. It was a special treat to actually speak to a real person for a change. The delivery was also made on time. I feel like I got good value for money and great equipment. I will recommend anyone looking for biking gear to do so through cycling express
