Does the milk jug come with the machine?
1 answer
Yes, everything necessary to make a cappuccino/expresso/latte etc comes with the machine (other than the pods and milk).

We have a EN550S machine that seems to have difficulty pumping the milk through has any one else experienced this and can it be fixed ?

It might be due to the type of milk your using or the tubes being clogged. Take apart the milk container and put the components in the dishwasher or soak them. If that doesn't work try using a different milk. From memory I dont think it likes skim milk. Smart white or full cream work well.
Yes we have had this problem, first with the previous model, which we took back to Joyce Mayne under the extended warranty. We had used only Nespresso pods, put all milk frother parts in the dishwasher every couple of days & descaled every time the light indicated it was necessary. We are away a lot so it did not get much use, mostly on weekends & we only put bottled water in it. We were fairly happy with it until it stopped working, although it did seem to drip from the coffee nozzle for a while after the light indicated it was finished making the coffee. It took a while for us to be able to take it in for replacement under warranty because we are away so often but as they only had red in stock we paid the difference & got the newer touch model in silver, as our previous one was, to match our household appliances. Now this new one has been babied in all the same ways, although we have been home a little more often this year, so it has had a little more use than the last one, but it has lasted a much shorter time. It makes noises but does not draw milk up from the frother, which is the same problem as the previous one. Both the previous one & this one were able to produce coffee, just not milk. I had very recently descaled it, I have ensured the parts are very clean by running all five separate parts of the frother through the dishwasher again & checked that they are correctly attached. I have never adjusted any of the factory settings, so I do not know if that would make a difference or could have prevented the problem, but having only used bottled water in it I can't imagine water hardness had anything to do with it.

I have a orange light coming up on my milk button is this common and how do I fix it I want coffee again ??
1 answer
Do a descale with with water only then shut down. Wait for a while then start up again and hopefully problem solved.
Or maybe you have soft water as machine defaults to hard water.
To change hardness.
Begin with the machine turned off
To set the water hardness to Soft water
Now hold down the Latte Macchiato button while powering your machine on
Once done, Now the orange descaling indicator light should come off.

I have a Nespresso EN550W and the pods fall straight through and are not caught by the machine before i have a chance to push the lever down. Does anyone know how to fix the problem?

I wasn't going to answer this one, not because I don't care for the problem ... but it has only occurred about 3 times over the past 3 months. Are you using the 'genuine' coffee pods or the compatible ones? I'm wondering if it's a Nespresso compatible pod, in that you change to the genuine pods or find another compatible pod (to test the pod manufacturer). It could be that the existing batch of pods you have are of flawed design?
I've been using nespresso pods. The machine is from work its had a hard life. I have same machine at home i looked at both it looks like it is worn. Is this part able to be replaced?
Sounds like a faulty machine
