Yep they do, a few other ones do as well I was in at HN yesterday and was surprised that what looks like they are just manual button controlled have the app function sitting behind it to personalise the coffees etc

We have a few machines that work with the app.
The ECAM37095T Dinamica Plus, ECAM65055MS Elite, the EPAM96075GLM Maestosa, and the ECAM65085MS Elite Experience.

Hi, just tried to make myself a Latte Macchiato. The milk came out as normal, but the coffee beans for some reason would not grind and made a sound as if a gear was sticking and the coffee did not come out. The machine then continued as normal and advised to clean the milk container. Why are the coffee beans suddenly not grinding? Regards Lorraine

Any idea of the life of these machines. I saw a review that one packed it after 6 years. We have been offered one that is 8 years old but not been in storage for the last 2 years. Would live to hear from you

Hi Dianne, we recommend to always buy from an authorised retailer or directly from us as we are unsure of how the machine has been maintained, used etc if it is second hand. Thanks, De'Longhi Australia

Good Morning Karl,

There is a section in the User Manual which goes through the step by step process of selecting and making coffees.

I have attached the link below for the User Manual for you.

Cheers mate, my old Magnifica was set to maximum and it still barely hit lukewarm... Known issue with many DeLonghi models and most have feedback from Users saying the coffee is too cold. Just wanting to know if this model has the similar issues

Just enjoyed the Elite Prima in home experience. Joe was the excellent. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the machine, which was barely producing luke warm coffee. Paying a premium price hasn’t guaranteed a premium product experience & given my purchase decision was based on that expectation, I now regret.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you've been disappointed with the temperature of your coffee. Please watch the following video which steps out how you're able to change the settings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMROPJpL4sI

It also helps if you use warm cups and room temperature milk. If you're still not satisfied with the temperature please call our team on 1800 126 659 and we would be happy to help you get the best out of your machine.

Kind regards,
De'Longhi Australia

Do you seriously think I’ve not adjusted that setting? No difference on any hot water setting. You’ve also clearly not read the circumstance surrounding the Delonghi appointed professional to deliver on the Elite Prima offer after buying the machine. He also noted the machines’s inability to change temperature. I have to use the microwave to have a hot coffee? It’s clearly a faulty boiler & requires warranty attention.

Feeling the temperature of the coffee is Luke warm, have the machine on high and setting in app for a coffee on max. But its more the milk, can anything else be done to machine to make coffee hotter?

I feel the same too, maybe leave the milk out of the fridge (the container is insulated for 3 hours, that might help, I'm going to try this myself, also put a rinse cycle through before making your first coffee.

Thanks for that feedback Erinc. It worked a treat leaving the milk out of the fridge for a bit before making a coffee. I probably only left it out for just over an hour and it made fantastic coffees for the family gathering. What I also do is just heat a mug of milk for 30secs in the microwave for coffees of a morning for my husband and i to take that chill off the milk. Works very well.

Hi Kim,

We're pleased to hear you've resolved your issue. If you're after a hotter cup of coffee you can also heat your cup on the warming plate on top of the machine. To turn on this function you'll need to go into the settings. Please see the manual for step-by-step instructions:

Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi Richard Not sure mine never did but I didnt keep it longer than 3 days without changing it. Make sure you put it in the fridge soon after I was very disappointed with this machine coffee was never hot it broke down after we went on holidays for 2 weeks and wouldnt turn on. Had lots of problems with it. Ive upgraded to the Breville One Touch Oracle this is a supurb machine even have someone come to show you how to use it. Makes hot coffee everytime to the temp you want. Have a google at this one. Ciau

No great mystery. You've exposed it to the air when you poured it into the container. If you poured into any other container the same thing would happen.

Wow, that is a BIG mug. My measurements show that the distance from the base to the back of the spout assembly at its highest is just over 160 mm. However, this would mean the spouts will end up under the surface of the coffee when the mug is full. Not a good idea. The other issue is the milk spout. This spout is also just over 160 mm, but I am not sure that it will work correctly because it also points down into the coffee.
While it may be possible to use a 160 mm mug, I doubt it will be totally successful. Hope this helps and good luck.

No. It can supply Coffee in all its forms, and comes with an insulated Milk container that can be removed and place in the refrigerator, and it can supply hot water. No Chocolate Carafe, but you could make hot chocolate using the milk and or water and your own carafe.

Mafos

Thanks for this info. I thought that instructions being in the booklet meant our machine must have carafe, and also came with chocolate. Last machine had one.
Thanks again Ria

Hi we have a relatively new DeLinghi PrimaDonna Elite. How can I tell how many coffees my machine has made and what is the number of coffees it should do between descaling? Thanks Michelle

1 answer
JP42
JP42

The manual tells you how to access statistics on pages 13 and 14. Basically it will tell you total coffee only cups, total with milk, total litres water, total descales, total milk cleans, and total filters used. Another menu allows you to define the water hardness level, ranging from 1 to 4. That defines the number of cups you get per descale but it doesn't tell you the number. Ours has not yet called for a descale.

Ongoing issues with milk container - dispenses cold unfrothed milk Hot water dispenses work well. Also manual steaming heats and froths milk. Milk container replaced twice Each time working ok for only a few months. Clean it as directed after each use. Any ideas?

The most recent review (25th February) by "Nikki" might hold the answer for you - she says;
"I have had one issue with it frothing, but I took the frothed apart gave it a good clean, and ensured the two holes of the turn were pointing left/right (good old google) and it was fine."
