Don't waste your money!!!
In a nutshell it doesn't work! I really wish I kept my receipt so I could get my money back! As for the company help well that worse! not friendly and as helpful as an ashtray on a motorbike!
I met a man in the store last week and I said to him "what am I doing wrong?? He said are you following the instructions & I said yes to a tee! He said BIG MISTAKE, then he said take it back I am as its total rubbish!!!

Yoghurt not setting
I recently purchased a new Red Easiyo yoghurt maker from BigW to go in our motor home. I've been successfully using the older white and red type for years and it works every time. unfortunately after reading comments of having to use thermal bags, wrapping it in a towel etc I've not been able to get a few batches of yoghurt to set. Very disappointed.

QUALITY OF YOUR MILK
We have been using our EasiYo for years now, and always had successful end product. Too those who may be having runny problems, check the milk you are using, we find the cheap milk Home Brands etc do not jel properly and don't use light milk. EasiYo may have a problem and don't even know about it, because that problem is the quality of the milk being used to make the yoghurt. We live in Cairns where it is hot and humid and still turn out lovely rich yoghurts, if your in a colder area you may need to set it a little longer.

Delicious yogurt maker
I was given a red Easiflo as a present four monthsvago. I just love it but had a few disasters as I didn't follow the instructions to a "T". I contacted the company and reported my problems. Their customer service was great and supportive and I was able to make just delicious yogurt.

Very disappointed
I have only had one successful batch of yogurt. I have tried 3 more times in case I was missing a step, but each time the yogurt is not setting. This was supposed to be a more convenient and economical way of consuming yogurt. But alas it has cost more a lot more.

Easiyo failure
When I first purchased it the yoghurt was perfect every time. Then it started to not set. I only have the small one. I changed from using half the 1 kilo mix to buying the 500 GM packs. Still runny milk. I have contacted easiyo. They responded back in great detail. Said they have had no issues. I find that hard to believe. Said they would send replacement yoghurt. Still waiting after 10 days. Very disappointing..
Credit to easiyo. Three boxes of replacements arrived. Made the first batch and perfect. I am a happy yoghurt maker n eater again.

A girlfriend put me on to the Easiyo 6 years ago and I love it. In the past I tried making yoghurt at home and it was so complicated I gave up. My husband and I travel permanently in our van and we eat yoghurt all the time. The whole set up is light weight and when you are not near shops it's great I just keep some packet mixes in the cupboard. I only buy the Greek mix and use it with fruit, in curries, casseroles, salad dressings etc. At night when I'm doing dinner it takes a few minutes to make up, literally and in the morning I pull the can...Read more
ister of yoghurt out, put it in the fridge, rinse the flask and put it on the drainer all done no fuss and no mess. I like thick yoghurt so put slightly less water in and have never had a flop. Oh! It works out cheaper too.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Useless doesn't set at all
I have tried over and over and all I get is runny milk. Tried to use different water temperatures in the mix (tepid v room temperature water). I've left it for 24 hours, used less water etc.etc. etc. Nothing seems to work in this machine. Is it a batch problem or the maker?

My yogurt isn't that it's like milk shake
Hi I've decided to try this product and the flavors are yummy as I mix it up and place it in the easiyo jug with hot water as directed it goes in at 8:00pm and I take it out at 8:30am when I get home after work and it's runny I place it in the fridge, but no change my daughter and I say it's a milkshake instead. Please help is their something else I can try I'd rather make this instead of buying yoghurt.

It was perfect the first time!
I purchased this last weekend and bought a pack of the easiyo powder. I wanted my three year old daughter to own the process of yogurt making and we made it 6PM on a Thursday and when I woke up about and checked about 12 hours (as want the consistency to be thick) it was about the perfect setting i wanted.
I looked up the settings how to achieve the your type of results:
8 hours - a bit runny
12 hours - thick and creamy
Thanks for making it easier for my little girl to create homemade yoghurt.

Easy!
This couldn't be simpler to use! Convenient, easy & economical. (Living in a colder climate I do use warm-ish water & place the maker on the mantle piece or in the sun. This constancy warmth ensure it sets in the normal time & doesn't stay runny). Very pleased & glad the sachets are becoming more available.

Love the idea. Sets perfectly but when I stir it goes really runny.
I purchased this because my 1 year was going through so much yoghurt and it was getting so expensive. I like the idea of making it myself. First of all I used the Passionfruit flavoured Greek satchet, it set lovely but when I transferred it to another container to feed to my daughter it went really runny. I thought that it may of been the fact that it was Passionfruit and it changed the consistency of the Greek yoghurt so I tried a plain Greek yoghurt satchet and the same thing happened. When serving from the contained that it's made in its a l...Read more
ovely dollop consistency but as soon as I stir it it turns into a runny mess which is really frustrating. I have just tried the Natural yoghurt satchet and added vanilla and honey after it set and again the same thing has happened. My Daughter and I both like the Chobani yoghurt consistency which is what it's like when serving but as soon as it's stired it goes runny. Not sure if I'll be buying this againSimilar opinion? 99.9% of the time fantastic.
I have had one for years and years. Never had a fail until this May, two or three in a row. I think it must have been a batch problem. Other than that it never fails. Best tasting yoghurt. Good to hear a few others have had problems around the same time, and all we have to do it put it back for a few hours. I will persevere because i love it.

Works for me
I have had the older model 1L youghurt maker for a few years now and have found it very good. Easy to use and clean. I have had one or two times when the yoghurt has not set. I believe that the solution is to just close it up again for a few more hours but I did not know that at the time. I have since bought the smaller model as well. After initial problems with setting with that model I contacted Easiyo who kindly provided the advice above.
I would like to be able to buy more flavours and full strength Greek yoghurt but apart from that, it definitely works for me.

Easiyo yoghurt maker
Best advice is to contact Easiyo - they are very helpful in giving advice. I've had both the old and new models of their Maker and most of the time the yoghurt turns out perfectly, just in the cooler weather I sometimes experience a problem with the yoghurt not setting (I only buy the natural yoghurts). Don't give up as in my opinion, their yoghurt is the best and closest to the real thing ( I never buy the flavoured ones so can't speak for them - I think when you start mucking around with flavourings you lose that authentic yoghurt taste).

Questions & Answers
Mandy B.asked
I didn’t let my yoghurt set for long enough before putting in the fridge. Is there a safe way to thicken it up? And would it still be safe to consume? It smells okay, but it’s quite runny ...
1 answer
Mandy i sometimes have a runny yog after 12 hrs. I just put some more powdered milk and put it back in the maker with fresh hot water. You could write direct to easiyo. They are the experts. You could use the runny yog in a bread &butter pudding or a yoghourt bread. But i am an accountant who is not a very good cook. Why is it runny. Is the temperature correct? In the last 50 tubs only one runny. So i did the above a put in fridge fot 2 days then ok.

Can I substitute water with milk when using the starter sachet?

I add 1/4 cup of full cream milk powder to each batch. So I am actually using milk. You should just try it and see.
Bravo Bill for adding dried skimmed milk powder to your sachet. But do not use MARVEL POWDER it doesn't work.
I haven't used milk instead of water but you may give that a go, and see what results. But water and milk powder is the best way to go. Good luck !

Mine didn't set . I'm confused about how much liquid to put in. The markings on jar are hard to see. I watched a youtube video beforehand and they filled it 5cm from top but I guess should have used second fill line .

You half fill container with water, add yoghurt mix, Shake, and fill to 1/2 cm from very top of container, screw on lid, and leave on bench overnight (after filling main co trainer with boiling water to top of red marker)
I use 600 ml of tepid water. Blitz EASI-YO sachet with a STICK BLENDER. Pour into jar - Top-up with cold-tap water.
In the maker-flask pour boiling water to second ridge-thing, where the top of the red-baffle will be - when it is inserted.
I fill the container with tap water half way or even a little bit less. Add the yoghurt sachet, put the lid on and shake the container. If some of the mixture doesn't mix in, use a spoon to mix it in. Then fill the container to the top with water. Put the lid on. I find it doesn't matter if the water is room temperature or a bit colder. Fill the red flask with boiling water to just above the line, so about half full, then put the container of mixed sachet in. Leave for at least 12 hours. I find the yoghurt is better and thicker the longer you leave it in the flask, but 24 hours is the maxium time it can be in the flask. I also find that mixing in about 1 cup of powered milk, mixed in water makes the yoghurt like a Greek yoghurt and tastes creamier too. I've always had success with this yoghurt and it tastes delicious.
