We bought electrolux 529 l bottom mount fridge but I noticed that behind vegetable crisper ice is forming as a result vegetables are not staying fresh, they get watery and slimy. Has anyone experienced this ?

Hi. No we are not having issues with icing at all. We have had the fridge for nearly 3 months

We have the same issue with our fridge that I notice some others are having too. That is the fridge door is literally impossible to open for about 2 minutes after closing it. It's driving us crazy. Please can you advise.

Same here and my fridge is 2 years old. Drawers are another problem. Worst refrigerator ever.

When closing the fridge door and trying to reopen it again we have to wait around 3 mins before it will release. The suction is so great you have to open the freezer door to release the pressure on the fridge door. We are having to leave our food and drinks on the counter and come back later to put them away. Not great for summer weather.

Agreed. It’s annoying but saves the energy at the same time as you mentioned you’ll need to put everything away at the same time.

It is brand new and turned on for 3 weeks. I cant believe how noisy it is. I think something must be wrong. It has a constant whir or fan rattle noise. Is there anything we can do?

We certainly do not experience a loud noise at all with ours

I just purchased a Electrolux EBE5307BB, I unpacked it and plugged it in after about the alarm went off for the freezer there was nothing in the freezer and the door was shut. the freezer indicated minus 18 degrees and it was flashing. We left it overnight with the ice tray filled with water, in the morning it was just cool water. The display still was set on -18 degrees C and flashing. Changed the setting to fast ice -23 degrees C in the morning and left it all day the ice trays were still water. We placed a cup of water in the freezer it was cool that's it. Am I missing something, I have followed all the instructions. Is there something I missed whilst unpacking it.

Just got this fridge on Friday but it’s a bit noisier then my old Westinghouse RE521 it doesn’t seem to be constant but definitely noticeable, is it normal because I think this has fans inside and the old fridge didn’t. Would a current model Westinghouse be quieter?
1 answer
I'd not noticed significant noise however did read a similar comment from someone.
Comparing to other smaller fridges, I'd suggest it is greater.

We bought an EBE 5367 in December 18. The dispensed water is not all cold. I cant find any controls. Any thoughts please. Really a very disappointing outcome although the rest of the fridge functions well.

We find the door can get jammed easily and we opened it forcefully tonight causing one heavy container falling from the top door shelf onto the white bottom causing it to dent. This is very surprising as it looks like it's made from cheap and thin plastic. Will this be covered by warranty due to defect?

This is with regards to the freezer section.
After 8 months of use, I find the freezer's bottom shelf drawer not closing well. I removed my frozen stuff to remove the drawer and found ice under it, around 10cm thick.
I had to remove this thick ice for the drawer to close properly. This unit is supposed to be a frost-free.
Anyone getting the same issues?

Is the fridge very noisy? Not including ice noise just motor/fan/compressor type noise.

Hello Coco
It make a few different types of noise, bit like R2D2 from Star Wars,I don't mind it
My last fridge ( sold my house and it stayed) was a two door Electrolux and it
Made funny noise at different times of the day as well.
Regards Photodoc
Relative to my previous 2 door Westinghouse, yes it's noisy.
I've had the fridge for two months, mine makes a whirring noise which in a quiet house is quite distracting.
