Great Vacuum, we have 6 in our family, but now starting to have troubles
Electrolux Ergorapido ZB2901, we love these vacuums in our family, we all have one in each of our houses, we rated so highly (after mum brought her one) so hardy for small cleans. However her one is now giving her troubles.
Power on/off switch seems faulty, when we push the button to start cleaning it just powers off, she had to start holding the button for the entire vacuum session, now that doesn't seem to work for her, turns off whenever it likes, she has to press the button heaps of times, then it goes, then dies.
Shame as she really lo...Read more

Zb2943 18v Electrolux vacuum
I purchased Zb2943 18v Electrolux vacuum 3/5/12, on 10/1/13 - 7months later it does not hold charge. In less than 12 months it's broken. They won't give me a replacement. I'm not impressed with Electrolux's service. Holds charge for 10mins not 20. I do not recommend this product! Electrolux in Melbourne do not care about keeping their customers happy!
Handheld
Not hold charge after 7 months old, when working vacuum for 10min on high.

I just bought it on 28/4/2013, sales girl told me, if fully charged, it can holds for about 30 min., but i keep it charged for more than 13 hrs, overnight, it holds for only
10 min, what should i do ...?
Apparently it lasts 30 mins on min power, but only about 12 mins on max power. Min power should be fine for tiled/timber floors; max for carpet.

Cheap rechargable vacuum
This one is actually a replacement for a faulty ZB2904B. My ZB2904B's battery died after 6 months and Electrolux replaced it with the ZB2942. So far this current model is great. it sucks well and has this new feature that can help to remove hair from the rollers. That is a handy invention that saves me the need to cut out the hair with a pair of scissors. All you have to do is step on the brush roll cleaning button for a few second and the hairs disappears from the rollers. However I'm still worry this will have the same battery issues as the Z...Read more
B2904B. Its worth the risk as I was told that I'm the only that reported this battery issue and it is reasonably cheap. Cheap. sufficiently strong, great for small apartments, no need to cut hairs from rollers. May have the same battery issue as my last oneSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent product
I just bought the latest 18V Lithium version (model ZB2942) and it charges to full in 4 hours. This is an excellent secondary vacuum cleaner and its design is meant for light tasks but it really is very useful as a standby to pick up small spills, crumbs, hair etc. The vacuum suction is more than sufficient for such jobs. The battery is the lithium-ion type and lasts about 20 minutes using the higher power mode. The fact that the smaller handheld can be detached makes this a very useful duo cleaner as this means my car is now spotless inside! A...Read more
ll in all, if you buy this as a secondary cleaner to complement your main vacuum cleaner, you won't regret the purchase as it really is a very good product. I recommend it highly. It is designed to be good looking, something you won't mind to be displayed in some corner of the living room. The only thing that can be improved in future is for a better longer lasting battery. Excellent design for duo-use. Good suction and very handy for small jobs. great design, practical and good-looking Now, if only it can run for an hour...Similar opinion? Excellent
It's wonderful.
As soon as I used it, I wanted to get another one.
I'm totally amazed at it, especially since I heard a lot of critisism about cordless vacuum sticks.
I love vacuuming, it makes vacuuming a joy, fun and so easy.
I was amazed. It's wonderful.
It arrived in the mail today ($165 including shipping) in a nicely designed box. It worked straight away.
I vacuumed my room and was astonished at how much it picked up.
It's easy to remove the dirt.
It's so lightweight and easy to maneuver
it has lights so you can see what you are vacuuming

Love it, cuts my time and place is clean
I purchased my 18w ZB2907 2 in 1 as a spare cleaner for newly installed timber floor over four months ago, since then I haven't used the old one at all. It' very light and easy to maneuver around furniture, I'm able to finish whole two bedroom unit and battery still last for an other job. I did my homework and got the best price of $220 at Good Guys and it's well money spent.
Price, light weight, small light on a brush makes dust easier to see, 2 in 1 design
Does not come close enough to walls or furniture for the dust to be picked up

Battery charges okay, but unit keeps cutting out, why?

Is it possible to replace the battery?
Lindaasked
Hi, I purchased my second Electrolux Ergorapido ZB2932 in December 2014 because the battery in my original one started to switch off all the time. The same thing is happening with the second one. I really like the product as it's light and works well but seems a shame that the battery is unreliable after 16 months. The unit does work but it turns itself off 5 or 6 times before it will go for any length of time and seems to be working at a slower pace than original. Is this usual? Thanks, Linda Green, Bunbury WA

I have the same problem, is it the battery or charge or neither.
I have same problem ...any solution to this ?
I have now the same problem with Electrolux Ergorapido with the battery when now the warranty is 6 month overdue. Based on what I have read here the battery seems to be designed to go broken soon after the warranty period is over. We used this vacuum cleaner really seldom, so it is not due to "too much use" for sure. 6 years ago I also had an Electrolux fridge, of which the control panel was broken twice during warranty. Then the door dropped off (yes it did!) after the warranty was over. The inner structure in the door around hinge counterpart gave off because of there was lacking polyurethane from the inside of the door frame. So the hinge counterpart broke and it dropped into the door frame hole lacking polyurethane. And when I opened the door the door dropped off completely because the upper hinge dropped out of the upper counterpart. This was a clear design / manufacturing flaw. Even so they practically laughed at me when I called the country technical warranty manager about this. I had to buy a new door which cost 1/3 of the price of a new fridge. I am never ever going to buy another Electrolux machine. :-(
