Ergorapido ZB3012 (Watermelon Red, 3rd Gen)

Hi, I have my Electrolux for 2 year and it's been a fine piece of equipment but now when I charge him up he only last for 4 or 5 minutes and goes off. Can you help me is it the battery?

I had the same problem I replaced the battery from 3.6v Samsung 15L 18650 1500mAh Battery X 5 to 3.7v 18650 6000mAh x 5 I payed on eBay 20$ And I changed it myself. I solved the problem and now i can use the vacuum for 35 min without problem! Good luck!

Ergorapido ZB3012 (Watermelon Red, 3rd Gen)

We have the ergorapido and loved it until it started shutting off after 3-4 seconds and won't start running. Have to keep pushing the button to restart. Very frustrating, what can be done? Thank you. Jim H

We had the same issue, and it was diagnosed as battery failure in the repair centre.

Ergorapido ZB3012 (Watermelon Red, 3rd Gen)

Hi, this product has stopped working. When I first purchased it, I had to take it to a service centre who replaced the whole unit it with a new one. That was about a year ago and now the unit has stopped working. I am very careful to clean the brush, empty and clean filters, etc.
When turning on the unit it immediately stops with the red light showing.
Can you please give me some advice?
I purchased the the machine on 11 March 2014 from Myer, Brookvale.

Hi, think you're asking the wrong person. Maybe you need to contact Electrolux? So far, I've not had a problem with mine.

That's happened to me if I accidentally suck up clothing or something. It switches off. And I just pull out what ever it was and it's perfectly fine again. Have you checked you haven't sucked up any ribbon or something by accident?

hello, i have bought the ZB 3012 and it worked great for two weeks then a sold red light came up - I took it back to the shop and they sent it off to electrolux, then I got a replacement 3 weeks later. The replacement lasted two weeks too and then the same issue - I am thinking it must be me - but I was so careful with the second one I know it wasn't so I took it back and got a 3rd version. I can't believe it but now I H a single orange light flashing. I have cleaned the filters after every use and the whole system is clean. But now it won't work - I can see from the above threads I am not the only one in this position. Can you please advise if there is a reset button I can apply before I take it back for a full refund.



I have loved my Boss vacuums over the years and wish this one were as good.

Hi magictenor, unfortunately there isn't any reset button,as you say, you clean after use dust container and also you need to be careful when vacuuming not vacuum even little water or dump floor.But the problem is vacuum cleaner, because many us have problem even after short time usage this product.By law, if product is unusable 3 times during warranty[2 years] You are entitled money back.Be firm, get money back. I believe this faulty product should be taken off marked,till manufactures fix ongoing problems.there is issue with battery [dont last] and electronic board.If you get money back, better choice will be Dyson upright,my 2 friends have dyson 56 and they are happy with that vacuum, but retail is over $500. If you have any problem to get money back, contact department of fair trading. Good luck, Jana.
