Very light and plenty on suction

published

We have had our stick vac for 3 years now. We got extended warranty for 3 years and didn't use it until recently.
Purchased from Harvey Norman Watergardens.
When we purchased it it came with a car cleaning combo kit that has like 6 attachments for the small dustbuster bit that can be removed from the actual stick unit.
Would I recommend this as a car vac=NO
Would I recommend this as a home vac with the capability to use it as a dustbuster=YES
I recently returned it for repair to the battery as it was losing charge and was repaired with a complete dustbuster unit as that's where the batteries are kept.
Very happy to recommend this vacuum cleaner for a family household.

Very handy and easy to use!

published

Love my dual purpose vacuum cleaner. Easy to use, charge lasts for at least half an hour, which is more than enough to clean my kitchen and large vinyl living areas every day. Love the hand held unit that detaches easily for those odd jobs around the house. Emptying the dust container is simple and quick, and it's so easy to maneuver. Great value, and just as good as the Dyson stick vacuum I had previously, only much cheaper and the charge lasts longer!

USELESS!!

published

This is the most useless vacuum cleaner ever. Had it for a month and has probably been used for about 2hrs max and already the battery is blown. You would think that by now in 2017 you could make a battery that actually works and charges.
Also the handheld device couldn't pick up anything.

Absolutely Garbage!

Revolutionised the way I clean - great for pet hair!

This vac is so light and easy to use on carpet and hardwood floors! Makes keeping stairs dust-free easy.
* Vacuuming car is a breeze :)
* Use the detachable hand vac on skirting boards and smaller/ hard to reach spots for that 'professionally cleaned house' look!
* Picks up the hair from my two indoor-dwelling dogs and kitty cat from rugs, lino, and hardwood floors.
* Hand washable filter :)
The only improvement I could suggest would be a bigger receptacle area so you don't have to empty as often. Otherwise perfect!

Better than expected

Vacuums well on tiles and carpets, lights work surprisingly well. Doesn't go up to the edge. You can get attachments.
The fixed floor stand makes quick use posible. Also, you know that its going to have a full charge.

The debris collector is a little small so I need to clean it out when I do the whole house. My Dyson upright, I can vacuum for a few weeks before I empty it.

Picked it up at the Good Guys on special for under 200 at that price It's great

Good Value

Happy so far - it has been a month - purchased from bing lee and it is worth it compared to over rated and expensive Dysons.

Go ahead and try.

It also comes with electrolux platinum service for 3 years which means you get a call from someone in Australia if there is a problme and they fix it or else replace it

Very disappointed

published

After one year of being very pleased with my red handheld on wood floor and tiles, the battery now gives me 60 seconds!

I have researched replacing the battery but it seems complicated and expensive.

After paying $300 dollars at Godfrey's (which I could I'll afford) I am so disappointed. They are still selling the same model.

I can't believe that it has to now go into landfill.

My parents had their Hoover for more than 20 years!

Great little power house!

Great, lightweight stick vacuum that is fantastic to maneuver around. Not a huge storage compartment so does require regular emptying intervals, especially with pet/dog hair. Hand held vacuum works well on fabric sofas. Great battery charge time, able to cover huge floor space without re-charging. Have been extremely happy with this vacuum after trying other brands previously.

I've had the vacuum for a year but after 7 months the vacuum will only last 3-5 mins and then stops,

published

Was a great vacuum but after 7 months the battery life is from 25 minutes of vacuuming to only 3-5 mins and then cuts out. Easy to use and compact. Slim line and works well with the lino floors and under the kitchen table. I would buy another Electrolux but I hope it lasts longer than 12 months.

Don't waste your money

I house sit and get to use a wide range of vacuum cleaners. This would have to be one of the most appalling examples of a vacuum cleaner, ever. Even the stronger speed setting is pitiful. Everything appears to be operating but using a broom is so much more efficient and less time consuming. I do own a sick vacuum cleaner and I know they can be terrific. Just not this type!

Ergorapido ZB3113 (Dark Grey, 5th Gen)

My ZB3113 Electrolux Rapido Lithium cordless vacuum will only run for two minutes before running out of charge. I've had it for maybe 18months to 2 yrs and a friend said all I need is a new battery changer. Is that likely to be the way to go and if so, where can I purchase one and for how much. Think the cleaner cost me around $250.00 Diane

I had the same problem. I got a replacement battery as it was still under warranty. That didn't fix the problem. They then gave me a replacement battery charger (the stand it sits on). That still didn't fix the problem. It seemed it must have been in the stick part of the vacuum cleaner. They then offered to replace the whole cleaner if I paid the changeover price of the latest model which I did and ended up costing me $43. Happy with new cleaner but it appears to be a general fault with this brand. I would recommend you go back to where you bought it from and tell them what's been happening.

Hi Sandi - thank you for this information. Unfortunately, now realise this was a replacement cleaner for the previous model which gave up the ghost completely. At that time like you I just had to pay the difference between what I'd paid in the first place and the upgrade and was advised I could not claim again. That was from Harvey Norman at Erina Fair, Central Coast. Guess I can try a replacement battery or purchase a different type of cleaner. Diane
