Great vacuum cleaner.
It’s a very powerful and reliable vacuum cleaner. We use it to vacuum our tile, timber floors and carpet. It also works very well with pet fur. We used this vacuum cleaner to clean our mattress and it picked up very fine dust from our 3 months old mattress. We are very happy with it.

Have 2 Electrolux Ultraflex one for downstairs and 1 for upstair's.
The suction is great it pick's up a lot of dust on the carpets. I have a larger area downstairs' and it's floorboards and carpets. It pick's up the dust. It's even good on tiles as well in our laundry and toilet area. Upstairs' we have carpet's and picks up the dust. We have a big area of carpet in the family rooms it pick's up the dust. The Electrolux Ultra flex has a larger cord up 15metres. It reaches half the house.

Love this vacuum cleaner
Having had to tolerate a large, heavy, unwieldy vacuum cleaner in the past where it was extremely difficult to change implements, and with the annoying bags that need replacement I am delighted with this Electolux Ultraflex cleaner. It's light, easy to change implements and seriously easy to empty the drum. The drum isn't huge which suits me down to the ground as it means the cleaner is light and not too big. I don't have any problems with emptying it a number of times, find it satisfying. Can't fault the cleaner at this stage, so efficient at what it does. Have owned it for a number of months.

Best Vaccum cleaner we had so far, but encountered some problems
We love this vacuum cleaner, the settings, the options and the ease of use. Never did we get such good results and it's so easy to use, to clean and to handle. Being able to adjust it to different densities and floors is a big plus too. We now used it 3 month since March but suddenly encountered a problem now with the switching. Performance is not effected once it switches on but after using the vacuum cleaner for approx. 4 to 5 minutes it suddenly switches of and cannot be restarted. We tried everything but have to wait minimum 1 hour for the unit to restart. Cannot see anything caught in the system, brushes are clean so maybe it is overheating, not sure.
As I said, we love this unit and maybe somebody can give us some advise what to do.

Best Vaccum I have ever purchased
I love this Vaccum. It is powerful, lightweight, quiet, easy to manage and has extra long cord & hose. The turbo head is excellent on my carpets. I also like the fact I don't have to purchase bags. I did however purchase another filter, so I change that regularly, it's easy I just wash it out in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. The only criticism is that I wish the brush was mounted on the machine as I'm always knocking it off the hose.

Purrfect for the pet fur
Has great suction power for a hand held cord free, i am really impressed at how well it vacuums the cat fur and leaves the carpet pile lifted like it is brand new. It is light weight, easy to empty, holds its charge. Highly recommend as it is great on every floor surface.

Its ok but heavy and annoying.
Hi. I bought this for my unit that is mostly tiled with carpet in two large bedrooms. Here is my opinion.
Pro: Its powerful, really powerful. The carpet head attachment has a brush that spins around to pull dirt out of carpet. It works really well as its powered individually from the machine. The cord is pretty long to - handy.
Con: This head is very heavy and bulky. It does not get up to the edges of the walls to well. It also has a locking button on the base that very annoying as it locks the handle alot and its not easy to release. The suction hole also appears very small, as pieces of plastic etc keep getting stuck in it blocking the machine.

This really is a great product.
I was skeptical - how do you unpack the different claims. Our Miele had died and we needed a new one but our needs had changed. We have an SUV that gets a lot of dust, a house that seems to attract millipedes... and you seem to need several machines to do the job.
Well this is really a great machine the dustbin seems small but its more than adequate. The different attachments make it very effective. The special gift promotion really turned it into our choice for car cleaning far better than our ageing Dyson...

th the brush mechanism. We have varying types of surfaces - Carpet, large tiled areas, Steps and small difficult areas. I am not sure if its quiet - That actually didn't bother me if we could get the job done well without looking at it the next day and wondering if we had cleaned it the day before.Similar opinion? Disappointed
Suction is great - however after having it for 1 month it started turning on and off on its on, whilst being used and whilst just plugged in and not being used.
Personally I found it un-ergonomic. The turbo head is heavy, and the foot pedal to adjust the height and it being lowered is awkward.
Electrolux post service has been excellent, they have offered to completely replace, but I have opted for a refund.

Excellent
After a lot of research I purchased Electrolux Ultraflex Animal Allergy – ZUF4207ACT from Harvey Norman for $699.
I have plush pile carpet [Silk Strand] purchased from Harvey Norman and my current vacuum cleaner was unable to vacuum – you could not push it across the floor – - the carpet pole was just too thick - [ it was also a Electrolux – Ultra Silencer]
I read countless reviews for various brands and varying prices. In the end armed with a roll of the carpet under my arm I took the carpet into various stores to put their vacuums to...Read more

Satisfied customer.
First of all I want to thank Linda who works at customer service for Electrolux. She helped me transition from the ultracaptic (discontinued) to the ultraflex after my ultracaptic had an issue under warranty.
This was my first experience with the powerhead and I must say I am loving it. The amount of stuff it pulls out of the rugs and carpet is fantastic. I wouldnt consider a model without it if you have carpet or rugs.
The ultraflex is easy to empty the canister. The lead on the ultraflex is also longer which is handy.

asant experience with customer service and the product. People having problems with it heating and shutting off are not cleaning all the filters regularly. All bagless vacuum cleaner need constant maintenance like this. I'm glad the Electrolux will shut off if it overheats because it protects it from damage. Clean the filters and it will suck like new. Monster Vacuum!
Just bought this vacuum during boxing day sale promotion for 633 in Harvey Norman. The vacuum is surprisingly easy to use and quite. The first reason I chose this vacuum is for my bed! Yes! Have a try to vacuum your mattress, you will be surprised how much dust and dust mite would be pick up!!! It was so disgusting for my first try in my bedroom even I wash bed linen every week. There is a nozzle specially design for that purpose but you have to buy it from somewhere else. The motor head for carpet is a monster. It is very easy to use and picks up all cat hairs and dusts. Overall I am happy with it!

Great for pet hair and dust.
Prior to this vacuum I had a Dyson. I was surprised at the amount of dust that was collected after the first use. Have 2 large black & grey rugs that always had small dog hairs left in them, went over with this and they are now all gone. Power head was easy to use and vacuum is very light and easily glides behind. Would recommend this over a Dyson.

ZUF4207ACT VAC
I purchased from Harvey Norman Aspley, 30 kms from where I live, because it was the only one of just two in Brisbane selling this product as yet. It is only a new product which I found on the Electrolux web pages. I was replacing a Wertheim 1700. This time, I wanted a bagless cleaner, having used an attachment on the Wertheim designed to rap dust and dirt before it entered the bag.
I have not been disappointed with the decision. The cleaner works extremely well, and the tools are fantastic for both carpet and tiled floors.

Fantastic Vacuum and well worth the money
I bought this cleaner only yesterday to replace a Dyson I have never been happy with. This vacuum was a pleasure to use (if vacuuming is ever a pleasure) - quick and easy. The turbo head has a height adjustment as well as suction adjustment so with a bit of practice I found the right combination for different rugs and carpets in our house. I have 2 ragdoll cats and the rugs and carpets have never looked so clean and been so quick to vacuum - every cat hair gone. The head for hard floors also performed extremely well. Where the Dyson pushed all ...Read more
the dust and grit ahead of the nozzle and you had to position the head carefully to suck up the dirt, the Electrolux head sucked the dirt from all around the hard floor attachment - right to the very edges. It's more quiet than most, the barrel follows you around smoothly and easily and the long power cord is great too.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
