Awful after sales support!
Have a Chef stove I bought in 2016 that has a faulty ignition and gets stuck on clicking and wont light up, very unsafe to use as it has blown large balls of fire each time from the repetitive clicking and igniting!
Advised Electrolux of the issue and seems like they don't care, advising the unit is out of warranty! Charging $160 for call out plus parts! A new cook top costs $200! Only agreed to cover parts!
What a joke, the item has not lasted a reasonable amount of time, is not durable or long lasting and fit for purpose as per consumer law and should be fully covered! Never touching anything from Electrolux ever again! Buyer beware! You have been warned from Electrolux's shonky products.

Disappointing product AND service
Three months back (June 11), we called Electrolux re our refrigerator with the fridge compartment not cooling (although the freezer was). We bought the fridge only a year and a half ago at Harvey Norman, CBD. They sent a technician over and we had 2 concerns about this:
1. The technician was supposed to arrive between 7:30 to 11:30 am and was supposed to call 30 minutes before he was slated to do so. It was already 11:30 and we have not been given any advice as to the technician's status. We called and they arranged to have the technician over,...Read more

Bad service
If the product out of the warranty, could be very expensive for the service, my AEG dishwasher required 3rd time repair (for the past 5.5 years) which out of the warranty, would be charged $602 exclude work shop fee to replace $60 parts. We decide to buy a new one, of course another brand.

Great Service
I purchased a new fridge and my daughter happened to pull the handle and snap it off. I was devastated. I'm a single mother and I had to save up for the fridge. Well the lady at electrolux service center was amazing and I was nearly in tears. They replaced my door today and I'm so very happy. Thank you for taking care of me.

If only it lasted
Electrolux Ultraperformer ZUP3862P - Would not recommend. Worked well when it actually worked. In the short time I had this vacuum it required repair 3 times (3rd time would cost nearly as much the vacuum itself). Firstly whilst still under warranty, recalled as part fitted was faulty. Second time it cost over $200 for repairs, 3rd time over $400. Gave up and bought a new vacuum!

Worst Company On The Planet! Greedy incompetent monkeys!
The massive amount of negative reviews here re. electrolux is damning. I wish I'd read all these damning reviews before giving my money to these greedy and incompetent white collar crooks. I invested a lot of money in a brand new washing machine in 2016. It stopped working after only 3 years. I nearly fell out of my chair when they wanted well over half a Thousand dollars to fix it! How can a 3 year old washing machine cost nearly as much to fix as buying a new one? When I objected to this gross ripoff they did the standard routine all dodgy g...Read more
reedy crooks do. They tried blaming me the customer by insinuating I must be to blame for it breaking down. Asking if I do a lot of washing or heavy loads? I said no I only wash twice a week with light loads only. I then got told I must use too much detergent? No I only use the barest minimum. Then I get told I dropped too many safety pins in there? Hahahahahaha. What a load of crap. No that's impossible because I don't use any safety pins you bunch of incompetent clowns! What kind of a company blames the customer for making unreliable junk? What kind of a company expects customers to fork out so much money for repairs? A greedy incompetent one! Notice how their reps use canned responses like: "We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the concerns you have raised". Notice how they expect you to email them privately so nobody can see the conversation here? Notice how their reps never bother to respond after posting that first canned comment? It's as if an automated bot is replying to you! It wouldn't surprise me if it really is a bot! Haven't these electrolux monkeys ever heard of goods having to be of an 'acceptable quality' and 'fit for its purpose' under consumer law? As many other reviewers here have revealed this seems to be how they make huge amounts of money after selling you these trashy lemons that keep failing . I tried explaining to them how grossly unreasonable all this was to their customers but instead of listening they got rudely aggressive and gave me attitude. As happened to many other reviewers here they also demanded nearly $150 bucks for "labour" which consists of doing nothing more than telling me they want over half a Thousand bucks to fix it! What a gross ripoff. Are these monkeys for real? Why is this company so greedy? Why do they make such poor quality trash that fails so quickly? This is the worst appliance company on the planet! Run by a bunch of greedy incompetent monkeys. Don't become another victim of these money hungry crooks. They don't give a damn about after sales service! Never buy anything from electrolux! EVEP604SC Pryo Oven - Very disappointed
I needed an oven as the one I had was so old. I won this oven in a competition. It was installed 28th June 2017. I find that it doesn't quite cook in the time the recipe states to leave it for eg cook at 180 C for 35 minutes but it actually needs longer depends what it is. I have to keep checking the food is cooked from the 35 minute mark. Not reliable. There a different settings like bake, pizza, pastry and fan cook. The grill is inside the oven which is inconvenient if I need the oven at the same time. I prefer the grill to be separate. I suppose I can't be too fussy as I won the oven in a competition but I wish it was as easy to use as the oven I used to have.

Appalling customer service
1) Agent on call centre misunderstand what the issue is and tech comes without party required
2) get told that technician will be there between 8am and 5pm do essentially I need to be available all day! Who does that in 2022!! I don’t have a wife at home sitting around as I am the wife and my husband also works
3) raises with the second agent on the call that Electrolux is not very customer centric and get told that we’ll.. the company is doing very well in spite of that!

Very Disappointed
Electrolux Energy Saver Inverter Tumble Dryer might be supposed to be energy efficient but worst drier I’ve ever owned. Takes 4 hours to dry a load and still comes out feeling damp. Not impressed especially with the high cost of the unit. Wanted a Bosch but sadly was talked into taking the Electrolux by the salesman. Big Mistake.

Garbage unreliable products.Worst service ever.Lying pack of dishonest thieves
Here's a bit of advice for anyone considering buying electroSux appliances. Stay away from this shonky brand if you value your sanity. Avoid like the bubonic plague if you dont want to waste massive amounts of your hard earned money fixing unreliable garbage which will break down again very quickly. Ok so I bought a washing machine and dryer combo from this dodgy company thinking it was a decent brand. Nope. Pure unreliable garbage. Had nothing but problems with both of them since I bought them 2 years ago. Either the barrel suddenly wont turn....Read more
Or the heating element wont switch on. Or water leaks everywhere. Sometimes all three. So I figured for their repair guy to come out and repair them under warranty. He never shows up. I call back and they act like they have no clue who I am. Lol. Unbelievable. Not only that but the phone reps were very rude and arrogant. Never apologised for their own mistake. Acting arrogant like theyre the only company that makes household appliances. I book it again and ask for the repair guy to call me before he shows up. Not only do I not get a call he doesnt show up in the timeframe booked but hours later when I wasnt home. Lol. Why? Because of some sort of computer stuff up at their end I'm told. Yeah right. But then again who knows? Maybe they use an electroSux computer! Lol. So I had to chase them up calling them again to rebook. Finally he shows up the following week because he only works 2 days a week. Turns up several hours late again. Doesnt call to warn he will be late. No surprises there. What does he do? Turns both units on. Stares at them silently for a few seconds like hes looking at an oil painting. Looks at the serial numbers. Checks his paperwork. Says sorry mate this cant be fixed under warranty. You just missed it by a few weeks. Going to cost over $800 to fix both. Talk about highway robbery. No this aint no corny comedy TV show folks. This is electroSux. As if Im going to pay nearly a grand to repair appliances that are just over 2 years old? Give me a break. Oh and just like the other multiple reviewers below me I got hit with an outrageous callout fee of $145. Something I wasnt warned about up front. They misleadingly call it labour. For doing nothing but telling you their appliance is stuffed. Sneaky way to rort their customers. A pack of lying dishonest thieves. Dodgy as hell. But they have the nerve to condescendingly treat you like trash. Telling you they'll give you a loyalty voucher. Lol. What for? To buy another one of their unreliable crappy appliances if you don't like the massive repair bill. Oh and how much is the voucher for? Oh its $145. How cute. The same amount they just stole from you! What an absolute disgrace. There should be a class action lawsuit against this dodgy company. Now I have 2 pieces of metal junk that I paid nearly $2,000 for which are now ready for the scrap heap. I will never buy another electroSux appliance again! This is the electroSux business model in a nutshell: (1) make unreliable garbage appliances (2) charge through the roof for repairs which they know will break down again very quickly. (3) Hit you with a $145 callout fee by misleadingly calling it labour. (4) Expect you to stay loyal to them after ripping you off with outrageous fees. Once again stay away from this shonky garbage brand if you value your sanity. Avoid like the bubonic plague if dont like throwing away your hard earned money. You've been warned folks!2 comments

entre multiple times months ago! All those calls were ignored! Shaking my head! Very disingenuous on your part. To add insult to injury you didnt even have the common decency or courtesy to post a sincere apology on behalf of electrolux at all. Nor any admission of wrongdoing. Nor taking any responsibility on behalf of the company for such outrageously disrespectful and abysmal service by your condescending service centre staff. Now this insincere sudden interest in my case happens after your arrogantly rude service centre ignored me, lied to me, made excuses or fobbed off my complaints for several months. Why did your mechanic take $145 of my hard earned money for doing didley squat apart from switching on the appliances? Any bozo can do that! Wanting nearly a Grand of my money to repair 2 year old appliances? Why is your service centre's business model so heavily focused on rorting your customers with such outrageously high fees and callout charges? When you know nothing will be done to remedy the situation? Making money off of sending a mechanic out without warning your customers up front they'll have to cough up $145 regardless of nothing at all being done to fix the problem? Read all the multiple reviewers below me who were also victims of your shonky $145 callout fee disguised as a labour fee after the fact. Oh and why are you asking me to contact you privately now after ignoring my complaints for so long? If you have something genuine to say like an offer, a refund, or a sincere apology backed by conciliatory action like a gesture of goodwill (Ha! like that will ever happen!) then say it here publicly so everyone can read it. Im not interested in hearing your bogus excuses anymore or dancing around the issue in private. Disingenuous condescending excuses like: "..We understand your frustration but unfortunately company policy says..." Lol. Give me a break. No wonder your ratings on Product Review are so beyond terrible!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Blatant Attempt At Rip Off & Violation of Australian Consumer Law!!
If I could give zero stars to this awful company my family was loyal to for many years I would! I called and asked the Electrolux service centre to arrange a repair for a washing machine which I have spent huge amounts of money fixing previously. The operator promised to call me the next day with a time of when the technician would show up to repair the machine. Of course I never received that call from the operator as promised. That was the first sign that this was going to be a disaster. Sure enough, it turned out that way! When the technici...Read more
an finally did show up he didn't do anything apart from turning it on and pressing a couple of buttons. He then sits there watching the machine fill up with water for the next 2 minutes playing with the buttons while waiting for the same error mesage to display which I had seen before. That's it! He didn't even bother to unscrew the cover to examine the internals to confirm what was wrong with it. Not even an attempt at work done. Nothing! He then tells me quote: "I think maybe its the board and motor that's faulty". "I think"? "Maybe"?! he says. Are you kidding me? I couldn't believe what I was hearing! How about taking the top cover off to check inside and 100% confirm it? Oh but no! He has better things to do with his time than try and determine for sure what's wrong with it! What an absolute joke. He then tells me to repair it it's going to cost hundreds of $$ for the parts alone (nearly the cost of a new machine!). But the so called warranty on the repair would only last a pitiful 3 months! So obviously when it breaks down again you will be up for another huge $$ expense! He then says it wasn't worth fixing and I should buy a new Electrolux machine. He says "Here's an Electrolux loyalty voucher for $145 towards the cost of a new machine. You can redeem it, but you'll only get your money back after you have purchased a new machine". Now why would anyone in their right mind do such a thing after having a previous history of wasting huge amounts of $$ fixing such an unreliable brand? He then pulls out his mobile phone and spends the next 18 minutes talking idle chit-chat while waiting on hold listening to music waiting for his boss at Electrolux headquarters to answer his call so he can get "an authorisation number" for his non-existent "service". Absolutely laughable. But it gets far worse! He then hands me a little piece of paper which has these words on it: "Labour $145.00. Put into test, error 52, motor and maybe board faulty, advised client, leave voucher" There's that "maybe" word again this time in print! Are you kidding me? $145.00 "Labour" for what exactly? For pressing 2 buttons until you get an error message I've already seen but you're not even 100% sure what's wrong with it?! What a farce! Here's the kicker: of course I was never told explicitly by the customer service operator *the day before* that I would be charged such an outrageously exorbitant "labour" fee for no actual repair work performed! That's not a "labour" fee! That's a call out fee! If Electrolux is going to charge someone a call out fee you must by Australian consumer law tell the customer in advance that you intend to do so, otherwise there is no binding contract because there was no explicit agreement to those terms by both parties! (The 3 elements of a valid contract under law are: Offer, Acceptance, Consideration) Without those 3 elements you can't have a valid legal contract! Trying to bamboozle the customer into paying such a huge call out fee without informing them in advance such a call out fee will be charged is contrary to consumer law since there was no valid contract and thus illegal! I called their customer service department multiple times over several days seeking a resolution to this and each time I was promised by each operator I would be "called back by a supervisor". Well I'm sure you can guess by now what happened! I was never called back! Instead of being called I get an invoice in the post demanding $145.00 for "labour"! What a joke! I will be contacting the ACCC about this if Electrolux refuses to comply with the law and rescind this blatant attempt at ripping off the consumer!1 comment

Terrible
Bought a fridge 2 and a 1/2 years ago. Has broken down twice and second time not fixed by Electrolux. Every time the fridge breaks down we lose most things in the fridge as they quickly go off. Would definitely not recommend an Electrolux product- just built really cheaply and after service is terrible (took about 1 month to look into issue each time and second time they refused to fix the broken part (sounds like they are happy if you have a product that only lasts 2.5 years despite paying $1399 for it)).

Lemon washing machine, poor customer service, buyer beware
Bought an Electrolux washing machine exactly 4 years ago and it has failed. Only used the machine once a week. The washer has lost power completely and apparently requires a new motherboard which will cost $600 plus $160 for a technician to come to fix it. That is the entire cost of a new machine.
Customer service was a disgrace from Electrolux.

The control panel on my fridge/freezer is playing up, the fridge is not cold, only cool, the freezer is slow to freeze items, and the ice takes ages to freeze.

Terrible machine just doesn't wash properly and clothes are left with a "film" on them at the end as if not rinsing properly and soap suds on door. $800 out of pocket and dirty clothes and NO reply from Electrolux and as did all via their site ( as well as called) I have no record of my emails. Dont know what to do next. appalling performance and customer service also it seems.
