Electrolux Washing Machines
Washing machine broke down within a short time. Company hopeless to deal with when soliciting support. Would not buy again. Why are companies so happy to abuse their customer base? We wont stick around forever.

Terrible After Sales Service
Our dryer, which we were previously very happy with, has failed in under a year. A service call was logged & that took 4 days until the service tech was able to come to confirm the motor had died. He said the part needs to be ordered & he can come the following week!! This takes it to 11 to 12 days before we have a working dryer again. We completely rely on this dryer & with the current wet weather we have no option but to pay at a laundromat. I called After Sales Service to register my dissatisfaction of this product & process & they say all t...Read more
hey can do is give me an email address to complain or record my feelings into the notes system, which goes no where. Staff are jaded & don’t care about customer service or the lack that Electrolux shows it’s customers. Completely regret buying this product & will not purchase any Electrolux products ever again.1 comment

Terrible
I bought Electrolux washer dryer on 10/06/2017 what a mistake that was I started having trouble with the dryer about 2 months in but I persevered then 18 months in the dryer stopped working completely so I rang Electrolux and they sent some one out to fix it that helped for another seven months then a month out of warranty the washing machine stopped working it showed an error on it so I rang Electrolux again they lady I spoke to told me it would cost me 150 call out fee then parts and the cost to fix it it wasn’t worth the cost so 2 years and one month after spending nearly $1200 I had to buy a new washing machine what a waste of money I would not recommend Electrolux to any one

Very short life Vacuum Cleaner
Bought a top of the range Electrolux vacuum cleaner about 30 months ago. Motor gives off a burning smell. Took it back to the shop, best they can come up with is that the filter was not cleaned (which is not true), so no warranty. Meanwhile a Dyson that I have had for 13 years is still going strong. Never buy an Electrolux product ever again.

Charged $50 more than what was quoted.
Asked the repairman how much the cost of fixing the dryer would cost me and he said around the $150 - $160 mark. He ended up charging $216 for the job without actually telling me how much it cost until after I paid.

Worst Customer service ever.
Simply put got my appliance replaced under Australian Consumer Law as it was only 2 years old when it failed due to a known issue. My original contact with the company they insisted on sending a tech to investigate and informed me it was $180. I told them i would not be paying the call out unless the failure was due to user error or abuse.
Tech arrived and straight up asked for the $180, I explained my position under ACL and that i felt a $1600 wine fridge should last more than 2 years before a catastrophic failure. He called his supervisor...Read more

Electrolux Westinghouse dishwasher unrepairable after 5 years
The appliance is a 5 year old Westinghouse dishwasher model SB915SJ. The Control Board (P/N: 0367400122 replaced by P/N: 0367400145) is described in Electrolux's website as NLA (No Longer Available). In this case the Control Board has failed once earlier and the replacement part also failed not long after. This dishwasher has had very little use since it was purchased because the owner has serious medical condition which necessitated a long period away from her home and the house was unoccupied during this time. The Electrolux web site claims '...Read more
We're here to help' but after reading all other comments in this website, the reality is very much the opposite. Electrolux Customer Care was not interested in assisting. I wrote to the the managing Director Mike Putt to no avail, further, I contacted the publicity manager of the Electrolux head office in Sweden, Daniel Frykholm and never received an answer or acknowledgment. The Electrolux parent company in Sweden claims the following. Electrolux products enable consumers to live better lives while saving energy, water and resources. We constantly challenge ourselves to improve, through our operations and our people, making Electrolux safe, efficient and ethical. Wherever we are in the world, Electrolux empowers consumers and suppliers, and supports local communities. These are simply empty words. The moral of this experience is, do your research first before committing your money when buying appliances. Dont take for granted the shop assistants sales pitch that the brand name is good.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

CVE662SA
Device: We have been installed with chef (CVE662SA) in 2017.
Issue: the fan is making noise and temperature is not setting in..
This oven was replaced in 2017 with a 2 year warranty. It is extremely disappointing if a new oven can only last 2 years.

Fridge is dented and extremely loud. Electrolux do not care and will not replace
I bought a fridge in March. From the start it was extremely loud. So loud that I can hear it from two rooms away.
A technician replaced the fan but this has not helped.
Two more technicians came out and agreed that it is loud. One said, sometimes theyre just really loud. I have asked for assistance in replacing, however they just offer to send a technician and will not do anything unless the technician says they need to replace.
Of course the technician work say its fine so they dont need to replace the fridge. I have been battling with Electrolux for 8 months and am stuck with an awful, super loud fridge. Friends and family agree that the fridge is poor quality and very loud. couldnt be less satisfied with the product or service.

Dont buy, if you wanna set your kitchen on fire
We have had this electrolux ranghood for over 5 years. Two months ago, it set itself on fire when no one was using it and no one have used it for days. The kitchen was set on fire and fire brigade ruled that it was ranghood itself, not tenant's fault, not doggy electrical circuits. It should take us over 70 000 aud to repair the damage. We called them up, they came once, and no response for weeks. Called again and again, they said they decided not to be held liabilities for the fire. I know that this product ran out of warranty but shouldn't be the reason you kitchen set on fire when no one was home yeh? Never touch it products and customer service again ever.

Shockingly bad.
Absolutely dreadful product and dreadful service from Electrolux. Fridge freezer was faulty from new with excessive frost build up. Reported on several occasions and an engineer was sent out but unable to fix the problem. Electrolux failed to act despite warranty. We're left with a defunct fridge freezer. Don't make the same mistake we did. Buy from a different manufacturer.

New Electrolux dryer does not work
Bought front loader condenser dryer in August of 2018. Six months later it exhibited issues with the condenser. I called the company, and they sent a company to fix it (2 days off of work for me- 1 day to assess, wait for parts, 1 day to fix. Same problem a month later, they rebuild the whole condenser unit. It was warped. (2 more days off of work). Then a short time later, the drum comes off its track. (2 more days off of work). In September, door is totally warped again. They send repair service. This company did not know how to re...Read more
pair it. Another repair company is assigned after I request a new machine. This machine is a lemon. Electrolux did not honor my request for a placement. They put me off for 2 weeks to do a product review. I had to call them. And, they said that they are busy. Very rude and uninformed managers who cannot help me[names removed]. As of this moment, parts are on back order. I have no dryer (now a month!) Electrolux does not stand behind their products and have mishandled my case so badly. I tell everyone and anyone my story. My recommendation is-do not buy Electrolux!1 comment

Beware of products owned by Electrolux
I bought a 5.5 kg Eziset Simpson Washing Machine where on the full cycle the water only comes up to about 7.7cm (it can vary, sometimes even lower) below the bottom of the white ring part (so is not high enough when on full).
As a note, I spoke to a Whirlpool member who said he had the same machine that comes up to 4cm below which in my experience is about where they usually come up to but mine doesn't and varies.
I have been using washing machines for many many years (I am 55yrs old) and have never once had an issue like this.

I just want to say how disgusted I am at Electrolux and your customer service/so called customer care!!! We bought a dryer less than 6 months ago that we now CANNOT use because its faulty and a major fire risk!! This happened 2 weeks ago when we had had it on for 30min to walk into a red hot dryer and a haze of smoke from the heat. Not only have we had to wait 2 weeks for a repair man to be able to come and look at it, we have had to take a day off work to be home for them to visit to now be told we need to wait even longer while they order th...Read more
e parts and THEN take yet another day off work, again to be home for them to come fix it. During this time we have struggled with wet cold weather and working long hours being able to keep our clothes dry ONLY to be told by the customer service staff at Electrolux today that maybe we should try hanging our clothes out to get them dry when we have an expensive piece of Electrolux crap sitting there that we cannot use. Oh and to top it off, the only other advice they could supply us was to pay an extra $20 to get the part delivered quicker!!!!! I am so mad right now and I WILL be ringing consumer fair trading on Monday and I will be spreading the word to everyone I know to stay away from Electrolux and their shady products and even worse customer serviceSimilar opinion? Terrible product and expensive parts replacement
I purchased an Electrolux oven, built in microwave and built in coffee machine. I wanted to support an Australian company so I went with Electrolux. Within a month of the coffee machine being out of warranty it stopped working so I had to get it fixed. Not long after that the microwave stopped heating food and then the steam function on the coffee machine stopped working. When I got someone out to fix the microwave I was told that it was potentially one or two parts that were faulty. The cost of these two parts were $200 and $300 respectively. ...Read more
I asked if you would find these two parts in any microwave and was told yes. I then questioned how two parts could cost $500 when you can but a good microwave for $200 that contains both of these parts. The repairman told me that he got my point but this is what they charge for their spare parts. I didn’t even bother getting the coffee machine fixed for a second time. It is disappointing because I purchased it all in built to sit together in the kitchen as a feature. Now it’s just an expensive wall of nothing working. Please don’t buy Electrolux unless you have the money to pay for the repairs. I would give no stars if possible.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Dishlex ruined some of our floorboards
We purchased the Dishlex DSF6106W dishwasher from our local Harvey Norman store on the 23/09/2018 which we brought home and put it into the dishwasher space in the bench island. Not hard to install at all!! Fast forward 8 months to the 20/05/2019 at about 10:00pm i walked around to the sink and noticed water on the floor in front of the dishwasher. I turned it off at the powerpoint as the motor would not stop going, even with no water in the machine. I spent about 30 minutes trying to clean up the water which most of it had gone under the float...Read more
ing floor boards and has now made them lift around the edgings. Next day after work @ 4:32pm i rang and spoke to [name removed] and explained everything to her. At 5:24pm, i received a phone call from [name removed] from Electrolux and explained everything to her as well. I then received a phone call @ 11:34am from the repair agent and the dishwasher was picked up on Friday the 24th of May. It had taken about 5 - 6 weeks for us to get the dishwasher back home which felt like forever especially with the amount of calls to Electrolux and the amount that the repair agent had been stuffed around. The problem after all this had been a hose that had come off a pipe located inside the machine where the machine has to be fully opened to fix this issue. The hose had no type of glue or hose clamp to hold it onto the pipe. Genius idea!!! We had been in contact with Electrolux by email quite a few times regarding our floating floorboards but they will not come to the party to fix them as they state "its not a fault of the appliance." Who's fault is it then?? They reckon they even tried to replicate the problem but couldn't get a machine to do it. How can you replicate something that took 8 months to happen in only a couple of weeks??? Even the local Harvey Norman proprietor cant understand their logic and has even tried helping us to get a resolution but hasn't been able too either. I may have forgotten something but i think the gist of the story is there!! We'll never ever recommend any brand associated with electrolux ever again. A little update - dishwasher leaked again!! God knows where from this time!!! Emailed the proprietor again and got a response from someone else but turned out to be the new proprietor who has been in the job since the start of November. Straight away with no crap helped us out immensely with a different brand of dishwasher (Bosch) and we are loving this dishwasher and its only been a few days!!! This has restore a lot of faith in customer service. A big THANK YOU to Jason!! Awesome customer service!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

The control panel on my fridge/freezer is playing up, the fridge is not cold, only cool, the freezer is slow to freeze items, and the ice takes ages to freeze.
The model is EBE4507SA, and the serial no. is 63873073073,

Well that hasn't helped me at all, what can you offer as a solution for my problems with this fridge please!!

Have contacted Electrolux several times since buying the WORST washer ever in Dec 2022. Have jsut asked the appliances online i bought it from for help. Terrible machine just doesn't wash properly and clothes are left with a "film" on them at the end as if not rinsing properly and soap suds on door. $800 out of pocket and dirty clothes and NO reply from Electrolux and as did all via their site ( as well as called) I have no record of my emails. Dont know what to do next. appalling performance and customer service also it seems.

I am building a new kitchen however your products seem to be very unreliable and your customer service has very unreasonable policies including an air conditioner which totally rusted within 4 years and then was told I live in a coastal area. My technician said he’d never seen anything like it and my neighbours had aircon for over ten years still going strong. Why is your company sripping people off like this? Just not good enough
