5 1/2 hours of wait time for technician - still not arrived or heard from technician!!
This is ridiculous. The window for the service technician we were told between 7am - 12.30pm. We were told we would get a call approximately 30 minutes before they will arrive. Well it's 12.25pm and still nothing. Surely such a large company could give a better window for the arrival (not 5 1/2hrs), I mean at least let us know where we are on the list - my wife has been sitting home wasting time for 5 1/2 hrs and who knows how much longer; unable to go to do some food shopping or do anything else she could do because she has to be there... She had to take the day off meaning she doesn't get paid. So she's wasted half a day for absolutely nothing and we've lost money...

Elctrolux ESF6768KXA Dishwasher
Was extremely excited about this particular model - packed with features, looks very smart (the only thing I miss about it to be honest...), competitively priced. Freshly released model so no reviews to be found online, was told we are one of the first to purchase it. Purchased from HN, just before NZ went into Level 4 lockdown.

confirmed that the panel must be faulty. They also discovered that inner door panel/liner was badly bent and distorted although nothing could be seen from the outside and must have been a factory damage. HN promptly sent a replacement unit - have to admit they were superb to deal with, as well as [name removed] from Abraham Appliance Servicing. The replacement unit's touch panel worked flawlessly, the door was straight and our hopes were high... then we loaded it and run it at night. All went went until the machine reached the drying cycle and started making this constant humming noise that could be heard from any other rood of the house. It is not extremely loud but disturbing enough especially at night time. The first machine was dead silent while drying. So... we contacted the team at HN and [name removed] paid us a visit, again... It was confirmed that the blower/fan was making an excessive noise and the whole unit deem faulty. We were offered to return the machine completely or switch to a different brand - which we did and now have a Serie 8 Bosch dishwasher. This was our first and most likely last experience with Electrolux. The build quality is just not the same as Bosch, the level of detail, little things here and there...Similar opinion? Comfort Lift Dishwasher
Bought an Electrolux Comfort Lift dishwasher about 12 months ago but was horrified to find that in spite of the large XL claimed capacity it would not fit my existing plates or glasses. The problem as that the cutlery tray at the top meant that the middle tray could not accommodate any slightly long glasses and the spray arm on the bottom of this tray was so low that it hit even moderately large dinner plates. ack on the rear hand right side of the bottom tray and place in a free standing cutlery basket as used in many dishwashers. ( I actually had a spare cutlery basket from an earlier dishwasher but you could buy one from any brand of dishwasher ). Terrible customer service and very poor product support
Booked yet another repair for my Electrolux pyrolytic oven. The customer service was poor - it took a week to get an e-mail response, only to be told to phone them. Then it took the customer service rep 15 minutes to book a simple service call. The repairman was excellent but after a $145 call-out fee, I was told that parts are not available and therefore the oven can't be repaired. paired. It is not acceptable for Electrolux customer service to say they are unable to provide this kind of advice on their OWN products. Electrolux refused to refund the call-out fee, offering me instead $145 off my next purchase. Since a replacement oven is >$2000 and I am not confident in Electrolux's service capabilities, needless to say, I will NOT be purchasing another Electrolux appliance.

Electrolux EWF1083 8kg front load washing machine Durability Repairs Spare Parts and common Faults
Model EWF1083 front loading washing machine motor refused to work today. Filled up with water, bit of a click as the inlet turned off, another click when the motor should have activated, and then just showed the time. It pumped out ok when put on rinse, but drum didn't rotate. Repeated checks again, but no change. Online service manual not available from Electrolux, only the users manual. hes they were worn to a length of 4mm, much less than the new length of 40mm. Contacted Electrolux help line for spare parts. 10min wait for staff member to answer, and another 10 min to get a technical response passed on from a technician. Electrolux doesn't sell the brushes as a spare part, and will only sell you a whole motor for $240, plus delivery. Installation would be $145 Additional. An appliance centre had brushes in stock and was able to supply a similar set of carbon brushes for $68.50. With some modification they fitted and the machine now runs perfectly. In the meantime I received a "Please contact [name removed] at electrolux customer care 'we would like to contact you to discuss your issue' ". This has resulted in a contact and if it results in something positive I will edit this posting. It looks like common problems with this model are with the control board, the power board, the motor brushes, the motor bearings, the drum mounting brackets, the drum drive belt slipping off or breaking, and then the intake valves, as well as the water pump motor or the impeller and the availability of small parts like the motor brushes. Another fault can be just loose connections to the control board. The front bellow seal also gets mouldy and smelly and later models have addressed this with a 90 minute bleach cycle which you need to run every month.4 comments

anufacturers are not obliged to carry every internal part of main components as spare parts. You also say Suppliers won't supply internal parts as spare parts. However, the Brushes required and the photo I supplied show they are an easily accessible external part of the motor, You don't have to remove any covers or other parts to get to or remove them. They are not an internal part of the motor. (much like a spark plug isn't an internal part of a car motor) I query why you don't feel any obligation to carry external parts of main components. Why No Zero Stars?
Reading other reviews it's easy to see why Electrolux get such a low mark for service or the complete lack of it!

Wouldn't even give one star.
Worst customer service. Purchased a fridge because of the cashback scheme. Processed online with my correct bank details and never received cash back. When contacted them they told me they put it in my account yet the account number they processed the cashback to was not even mine. Instead of helping me, they told me nothing they do. The account number and bsb are completely wrong. The money has gone into someone else's account. Something is very shonky here. Dont trust them at all. Thanks for helping out a customer who has spent over $3000 on a fridge.

Do not buy this product! I repeat do not buy! From the get go my washer leaked it was the front load washer. I had the warranty and they deemed it irreparable and wanted to charge $133 for the replacement. I paid a substantial sum for what I thought would be a quality washer and will not pay the $133. Customer service was horrible with [name removed]. I will throw this junk in the trash because it is not worth recycling.

Terrible customer service, absolutely disgusting customer service. Don't respect warranty at all!
Vacum cleaner started falling apart after just few weeks of being used and customer service refused to replace it. Was left without vacum with a large family. Terrible customer service, terrible product. Even vacum pipe fell apart after few weeks.

Electrolux - Big on price small on warranty service
Purchased Pure i9 which showed an error code battery replacement, cleaner is still in warranty, promised batteries have been sent for 3 months, apparently still on back order - would not recommend at all!!

Excellent follow up service
Our Kelvinator fridge/freezer broke down at the wknd. I phoned Electrolux customer care this morning and their technician came this morning and replaced the fan on the fridge. He was a very nice man, even waited 5 mins while I drove home. All fixed now, and within hours of my call. Very impressed

I bought a Electrolux 8 kg front load washing machine ever since I bought it it smells I've cleaned it on regular basis I've tried everything it just won't stop smelling makes out clothes stink I'm so over it!! Now I've got to buy a new one don't think I will get this brand agian

bad customer service
I wish I had seen this site before I bought a Kelvinator aircon. 14 months old stoped working and seems they do not have a reliable contractor in my area. After several phone calls all I get from them is he will be in contact. Took over 4weeks but Electrolux did get a brand new unit out to me . Many thanks to Julie from Electrolux customer service.

Electrolux Washing Machine Service
The most pathetic excuse for a service company you will ever find. If you don't mind waiting 3 or 4 weeks for a service tech to be booked in, if you don't mind continually having to chase them up due to them never ringing back, if you don't mind being put on hold for a minimum of 30 mins every time you ring, if you don't mind then being given vague and non committal answers, my guess you might be satisfied with their unprofessional and inadequate service.

Worst service time never buy again.
I have a kelvinator fridge freezer. 3 times the defrost module has died. First time was 7 months in. It took a week and a half for a tech to come. Second time fridge seized before tech even got there over 2 weeks later. It is only because when demanded a refund after it seized a lady at the warehouse had a replacement sent the next day. This time still waiting for an appointment for a tech nearly 2 weeks later.
I've asked for refunds each time.
Next time buy anyone else but electrolux or any of their products.
If you have trouble do what I have now done and contact the ACCC. Because that's the only way you will get a decent remedy.

UNABLE TO GET ELECTROLUX TO FIX THE PROBLEM
We purchased an ELECTROLUX 524L french fridge/freezer on the 6th of January - we had two problems, first the item came with the handles not fixed. after many calls Electrolux sent their dealer to install it as it was extremely difficult to install with the alan key they provided. The 2nd problem we have and still not fixed is the leak from the freezer (manufacturing fault- apparently quite common. despite many calls this is still not fixed as they dont have the part. Simply ridiculous. almost 4 weeks since we reported the fault and Electrolux are unable to confirm when they can fix the problem.
The 1st ever Electrolux we purchased and probably the last..

Terrible After Sales Service
Our dryer, which we were previously very happy with, has failed in under a year. A service call was logged & that took 4 days until the service tech was able to come to confirm the motor had died. He said the part needs to be ordered & he can come the following week!! This takes it to 11 to 12 days before we have a working dryer again. Terrible
I bought Electrolux washer dryer on 10/06/2017 what a mistake that was I started having trouble with the dryer about 2 months in but I persevered then 18 months in the dryer stopped working completely so I rang Electrolux and they sent some one out to fix it that helped for another seven months then a month out of warranty the washing machine stopped working it showed an error on it so I rang Electrolux again they lady I spoke to told me it would cost me 150 call out fee then parts and the cost to fix it it wasn’t worth the cost so 2 years and one month after spending nearly $1200 I had to buy a new washing machine what a waste of money I would not recommend Electrolux to any one

Very short life Vacuum Cleaner
Bought a top of the range Electrolux vacuum cleaner about 30 months ago. Motor gives off a burning smell. Took it back to the shop, best they can come up with is that the filter was not cleaned (which is not true), so no warranty. Meanwhile a Dyson that I have had for 13 years is still going strong. Never buy an Electrolux product ever again.

The control panel on my fridge/freezer is playing up, the fridge is not cold, only cool, the freezer is slow to freeze items, and the ice takes ages to freeze.

Have contacted Electrolux several times since buying the WORST washer ever in Dec 2022. Have jsut asked the appliances online i bought it from for help. Terrible machine just doesn't wash properly and clothes are left with a "film" on them at the end as if not rinsing properly and soap suds on door. $800 out of pocket and dirty clothes and NO reply from Electrolux and as did all via their site ( as well as called) I have no record of my emails. Dont know what to do next. appalling performance and customer service also it seems.

I am building a new kitchen however your products seem to be very unreliable and your customer service has very unreasonable policies including an air conditioner which totally rusted within 4 years and then was told I live in a coastal area. My technician said he’d never seen anything like it and my neighbours had aircon for over ten years still going strong. Why is your company sripping people off like this? Just not good enough
