Cleaning with no frills
This dishwasher is very good at what its supposed to do - clean dishes! It also cleans pots coated with fatty solids from boiling milk (which our previous LG dishswasher could not). The rack design is neat allowing lots of dishes, bowls, spoons to be loaded and yet clean without any problem (again, only comparing it to our previous one whose rack design put lots of restrictions on what shaped pots could go where on the rack). he 2 main racks. The controls are simple and gives you 4 different cycles as per your need. On the negative side, it lacks features like child-lock and delayed start, both of which we used quite extensively on our previous dishwasher. And one more feature which is not very common, yet nice to have is the option of air-drying which can save a lot of energy. On the whole for the price-tag this seems a very good buy as long as it lasts long enough.

Best Dishwasher I have had
I bought this DW two weeks ago . Best dishwasher I have had, quiet, cleans everything and dries perfect I use the quick cycle on most washes as I do rinse plates etc and it's perfect. The only very minor minus is it doesn't beep when finished but overall the machine is brilliant.

I always leave the door shut for about 10 to 15 min. Then open, after about an hour I start to take things out and all is dry . Not sure why some people have trouble with the drying, just when the machine finishes touch the front of it and feel that it's hot . (Don't open if it's hot . If it's not than something is not right with the machine as it is the hot steam that dries the dishes . Hope this helps1 comment

Very quiet.
Hi, it's very nice the dishwasher, but it doesn't dry, and all the dishwasher remains wet too. Just purchased it from Morrabbin . Used it only once. We just got it in stalled. It's very quiet,and the only thing concerns me why doesn't it dry . Thank you.

To improve drying performance please ensure you are using rinse aid!I do that, I am concerned that the inside of the dishwasher isn't dry either, hope it doesn't rust.

Thanks, Tas. The only other suggestion we would make is keeping the door shut after the cycle ends to allow the residual warmth to dry the contents of the dishwasher thoroughly.

My new dishwasher DR14W
My new Euromaid dishwasher is very efficient and cleans the grimy dishes and pans perfectly. It works very quietly. and has the capacity for a large amount of dishes etc.to be washed.. It has many washing cycles and a feature.that lets you know when the rinse aid compartment is low..

Not brilliant
Our rented property has a new dr14 dishwasher. We are having the same problem as some of the other posters, the tablet falls out (without fail) before the start of the cycle (no there doesn't seem to be a fault) and it dries badly, hopefully the dishwasher booster will help.

drying cycle
My dishwasher does not dry dishes at all. The inside of the dishwasher is still wet a week after using.
My favourite feature would be the easiness of using It is quiet which is a good feature The problem with the drying has been since new and I have only used approx 4 times

As it begins...
We had a Miele, eight years old, only realised when something else went wrong that water had been leaking long enough to damage flooring. Price of part (special hose) + labour equal to price of this new Euromaid dishwasher including delivery and removal of old dishwasher.
Ordered from Appliances Direct on Friday, arrived in regional town Monday 0845.
Easy to install, have run it twice, once empty as recommended, once with full load.
Observations:
- looks good, simple to operate.
- fewer functions than Miele... but then I only ever used one setting on the Miele.
- interrupt cycle and it will resume where was UNLESS you turn power off at wall.

Great Dishwasher at a reasonable price.
Bought this dishwasher based on previous reviews provided on this site. I have not been disappointed as the dishwasher is great, it is quiet and washes and dries dishes very well. My favourite features would be the ease of operation with easy to use dial for wash cycles. This is a great dishwasher at a very reasonable price.

Good value at lower price range
Bought this mostly based on price and so far have been pleased with its performance. Very good at cleaning and drying. Very quiet - our flat is open plan, and in the past it has been impossible to watch tv when the dishwasher is on - not any more! Best feature is the quick cycle which still does an excellent job.
In short, excellent value at the lower price range. I am no longer happy to pay lots of money for machines that only last 5 years. This seems to perform well, and I won't be so upset if it doesn't last forever.

Excellent dishwashing performance
We hadn't heard of this brand before but it turns out that Euromaid has a long history and is a 100% Aussie owned company. When our Bosch dishwasher called it a day, we decided to give Euromaid a go. We decided to buy at the cheaper end as we are moving house soon and the new home will have a high end machine already installed. This machine comes with stainless steel or white finishes and are accordingly designated DR14S and DR14W.
There are both positive and negative aspects to the machine. On the plus side

Have had a DR14W for about 2 months. Renting so landlord bought it after old one crapped out. So far the plastic handle has broken off inside the door - managed to jury rig it after an hour or so - and tonight it did the stop work/humming thing described by so many, relieved (so far) by tipping a couple of litres of water out on to my kitchen floor...
So is it likely that it will keep on doing this every coupe of months? Any point in getting it replaced while still under warranty, or do all of them behave the same??
