The numbers on my oven temperature goes from 20-120.
I know it heats higher that 120 degrees so what are the conversions, what temperature is the 120 referring too?

Hi Rob, Thank you for your question. I believe you are referring to the timer control knob. If you refer to the manual all the controls are listed on page 8. If you need a copy please let me know. Thanks

I bought a Euromaid F54RW just over 2 years ago. The rear left coil hotplate stopped working. I was about to buy a new one but thought to try that coil on the rear right location and it works so it appears to be something with the actual connection or appliance. Does it have individual fuses for each hotplate? If so, where?
Thanks Deb

The calibration marks on the oven control knobs have all completely worn off, rendering control very difficult. Can I obtain a set of replacement knobs?

Hi- Thankfully I don't have to use that oven anymore but I did notice that with any 'cheap' products such as this- things like that happen. You should be able to get them by contacting the manufacturer direct on 1800 444 357

Are you using a robot to respond to these reviews because it sure does read that way.
The responses remind me of politicians....they say something that says nothing.
People just want an oven that will do the basics well. Craig took the time to point out design faults,
but the responses he got took not much effort at all and did not address the issues.
I think in this day and age, design and functionality standards should be way better.
The responses to reviews or questions or issues need to be way better as well.
Would you agree or disagree ?

Hi Harry, what you said is true. Problem is even organisations can't seem to handle constructive criticism to improve their products. So, when warranty expires they have no further commitment to the customer. By the way, I didn;t have that installed until after the 12 month warranty expired unfortunately.Moral of the story-look for other brands.

I have had my Euromaid free standing oven for six years ago. Two years ago I had to replace the thermocouple as the oven was not staying lit. It cost me $350.00.
Now it has broken again . I am trying to decide whether I need to buy another oven (and) brand. If the Thermocouple breaks every two years this is simply not convenient or affordable.

I have just moved into a rental property which has a Euromaid upright cooker installed. It has the controls at the front and has a ceramic glass cooktop. When using the cooktop, the burner heats up and goes red, but when I place my frypan on the top, the burner loses heat, and stews steak as opposed to frying it. What is happening? Could it involve my cookware? Do I need a particular type of cookware? If so, what sort should I use? If it has nothing to do with my cookware, what is the issue. I am a very experienced and competent cook, and have never had this occur with any other stoves I have used. Please advise.

Hi, I bought the F54GW December 2016. I am having trouble with the wok burner failing to stay alight. When cleaning and replacing the covers everything looks good and even, the igniter comes on but on releasing the control after 5 seconds it goes out. I find this very frustrating as the other burners are all fine. Any help?

Hey Linda,

It could be something as simple as a dirty thermocouple tip or a binding control knob not allowing the valve spindle to push back far enough. Are you able to give us a call to chat further? 1800 444 357.

Thanks.

Hi I wrote to you earlier but I got the model wrong it's the F54EW I have with the coil top . The hotplates are extreme hot even on setting 1. No plates have a simmer . Everything boils or burns immediately and I have to turn it on and off. Is this normal or should I get someone to look at it as it's brand new under warranty? I love the oven part but with the hot plates being as they are I really try not to use them.

Hi - Sorry I don't know as mine is an all electric stove, you may need to contact Euromaid? But if you mean 'second shelf' as in the metal rack, then mine came with the two racks.

Why does the oven take over 30 mins to get hot and why doesn't it get hot enough? What fan setting should I put it on to get quicker, hotter results? Even at 220 degrees oven fry chips had not browned after an hour. Should take 12 minutes at this temperature, according to packet. I totally agree with all of the comments about the grill being too close to the element. I've tried both trays and trivets but still can't fit a piece of toast with anything on top.
Love to know any secrets to make this product work as one would expect.
Looking forward to your reply.
many thanks,
Louise

Hi Lou, happy to help if I could but I no longer have the stove. The big front hotplate came on twice that I know of without being turned on, a new switch and hotplate were installed then afterwards one night before 9pm I got up to find it was on again and a t towel was on fire. Good guys say it's my supply fault, gave me a full refund but refuse to sell me another brand stove and take this risk. It was 4 months old. My question is if its my supply why didnt all hot plates come on. AGL says its nothing to do with them so I am in the process of looking for Aldi to have a benchtop oven with 2 hotplates for under $100 and give that a go. To answer what I do know I, yes the oven did take about 25 mins but was hot enough as I only cooked frittata, casseroles or cakes, never tried oven fry chips, the fan setting should cook faster. I did find that the deeper tray would have taken a cheese grill sandwich. What I did do was put it on the base of the grill tray and then awkwardly take it out with tongs onto a plate, no trivet. I suggest you have been unlucky with purchase with your stove, but what can you do about it I don't know. Can you change it at the store? I would have managed though the fan drove me mad as I am a single household. Very sorry for your dilemma, my old one of 34 years was better. Best wishes, Lou.

Why is it that when using the convection oven with the timer the fan operates?

1 answer
Euromaid
Brad M.Euromaid

Hi Janet,
The fan you mention will be the "cooling fan".
This fan will activate automatically to "cool" the unit when it is operation.
It will continue to run after the unit has been turned off as well until the unit has cooled.
