e2go Grill

I used my e2go grill for the first time last weekend, it starts easily but the flame is very small. I had a hard time grilling my steak. I live in Cooombia and i wonder if you have technical support nearby?
Thanks.

Hi there Siew, Shriro Australia is the distributor of Everdure and we are unable to supply the flat grill plate until early November, you can go to Bunnings special order counter and order one and it will be sent as soon as we receive our shipment. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Not sure of the difference between e2go and e2go grill however I find even after using a new 9kg bottle there is not enough heat for good a BBQ when the control knob is set to high and left to heat up for around 30 minutes. Cooking is slow and no char.
I brought it from Bunnings already constructed except for the trolly, is there an adjustment allowing more or higher gas other than the control knob?

Hi brendan
I am finding the opposite. I put temp to high for about 10 mins to get needle on temp gauge to half way then lower control to low and find this more than adequate temp to cook roast etc.
I also use 9kg gas bottle. I do close the lid even when doing steak, sausages etc.
Maybe this is the difference.

No adjustments other than the control knob. Make sure once lit you close the lid and let it pre heat like an oven. Also they work best if you cook with the lid closed. Try and limit the amount of times you open the lid as you lose heat. These arent really like a standard bbq and work best with lids down. Once you get used to it you will love it.

Can anyone tell me what the little chain and wire thing is for on the left hand side.
Just bought this BBQ and looks great, but can't see the purpose of that light chain/wire gizmo.

I've had a couple of bbq's with this. it is a match holder. so if the auto start system does not work you put a match in the holder/handle part and poke it through the hole in the side of the bbq to light it safely.
