Excellent all round
From the time we walked in Luke was great - listened to what we were seeking and led us to the Stirling GT that fully meets our needs and was even better than our expectations compared to what other brands offered for the same price point. We were given a comprehensive handover and when we forgot and needed to call Luke and the team were more than willing to guide us over the phone. Operator error (excitement) on the first outing resulted in 2 lost clips somewhere in the grass. When popping in to Kilsyth Ezytrail to ask where to purchase they j...Read more
ust went out to the warehouse and gave me replacements even though my fault. We are very happy with the service and the function of the camper and happily recommend Ezytrail to anyone that will listen October 2nd 2017 Update: Excellent upgrade with excellent service We have recently upgraded to a Stirling lx mk2 with the remote opening and love it. I can now set this up on my own thanks to no lifting or winching required. I had 1000's of questions that were patiently answered and measurements taken of the camper several times by Luke at Kilsyth to ensure it was right thing to upgrade and we could not be happier with our decision. The redesign of kitchen and extra storage is great. We have already enjoyed a week away and looking forward to many more as ours will be our home for the best part of a year so needed to be right and with branches located across most of Aust and Ezytrail commitment to customer care and support including after sale we are very comfortable recommending not just Luke but Ezytrail as a whole.Similar opinion? OMG this is glamping!
After having an Ezytrail Tarwin previously,we decided to upgrade to a hard floor. Its fantastic. Easy to put up and take down. Takes hubby about 15mins for the main area then about 30mins for annexe i cluding walls. We now keave the annexe roof on, still plenty of room to fold up. Kitchen is fabulous including the layout. Like the way you can keep the fridge up the same end as the pull out kitchen. Four burner stove provides plenty of cooking options and when not in use I fold the cover down for extra bench space. The dish rack is another plus,...Read more
saves clutter on the sink. Heaps of storage. Whilst the mattress was hard, easily remedied with a mattress topper. Its great to have lighting and a cd player at the touch of button. Hubby likes the placement of the power meter. Two large storage drawers under the bed holds enough clothing for us, for a week. Gas bottles hidden away nicely. We were given a good demo on its setup before delivery which made the first time easier. We deal with Luke Williams at Kilsyth...nothings too much trouble. We did a lot of research before purchasing this trailer and it led us back to Ezytrail. Value for money, great service. 100per cent stoked with our trailer.. ..my idea of glamping.Similar opinion? Parkes 13 off road caravan
I am one of the first owners of a Parkes 13 van. We had looked at other hybrids before purchase and found that this unit ticked all our boxes regarding price and fit out. We took the van away at Easter as a prep run for a longer trip and were not disappointed.
The van performed exactly how we wanted and we were the envy of the rest of the group who had canvas campers and tents. The ease of setup was marvelous. The kitchen is terrific and my wife loves the 4 burner stove. We only used the wind out awning as the weather was kind and we did not b...Read more

Very poor qauilty
We have owned our buckland lx for two years now on our very first trip we had a strut fail and went to the cairns branch for a replacment which i had to personally remove from one of there showroom campers. Then on the way to the cape split pins holding the pins in for the camper top fell apart and we nearly lost the whole top of the camper. Then on our return journey the door of the main toolbox fell off and we lost all our gear and the door on the fridge slide started to fall of so we had to remove our fridge the pop rivets on the gas bottle ...Read more
holder fell apart and we nearly lost the bottle on a major freeway and to top that off the bed started falling apart. So we called in at the sydney branch to have all problems rectified they replaced the bedroom and replaced front tool box and tried to strengthen gas bottle holders with bolts which was done very poorly. We are now traveling oz and it is our home all the zippers are failing the tape over stitching is coming away midgee mesh has a ladder run in it which has been there since they replaced the bedroom there are stitching threads hanging everywhere holes in part of the canvas where they made stitching mistakes and the canvas is discoloured in hind site we should have gotten onto them as soon as we noticed these things but like a lot of others just thought well you get what you pay for but now we just feel like what a joke its two years old and our home is this thing gonna see its way around the country. We have contacted them about the issues but have basically been told its out of warranty so we get the feeling tough titties and they don't want to know about the poor qauilty of there product that will last a couple of years. But on a positive note the camper tows great has heaps of room and we love the kitchenSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Our first camper trailer and loving it
This is our first camper trailer and I did a lot of online research and also viewed a few trailers before deciding on the Ezytrail Lincoln Z - which is only a new model.
This model was chosen as it has two fold out double beds and a very nice/large seating area in the middle - not many hard floor campers have this layout and the other Lincoln LX was a lot heavier and therefor not as much carrying capacity.
We have been on 3 weekend trips so far and love it.
There has been a couple of minor issue's but Maddie in the Sydney office has said no...Read more

Great unit, suits our needs.
Bought a demo model at a good price, had not been used but had a few scratches, not as many as i put in it on the first trip!!!Great camper trailer, easy to tow and set up, has plenty of storage area and handy roof racks. Front storage box is great for the chain saw and tools. looking at getting a swing boat loader so i can mount a boat on top of it, its a pity that Ezy trail dont make one to suit this unit. hway you would not know it is there. Staff at Ezy trail are helpful and quickly sent out some missing poles when we assembled it at home before camping. Bought a solar panel and with the 100 AH battery being charged during the day it kept the fridge and camp powered for a week. Can see it getting plenty of use. Just doing some changes to the gas hose connections to the stove so it can be connected quickly (existing hose connection and regulator hanging out is a pain), level bubbles for setting up and additional locking positions for the swing spare wheel so it does not block the second access door into the tent or swing back against the camper. Will do a few other modifications to suit what we want and make it easy to set up with all out camping gear located, including some additional LED lights, shower tent. Overall very happy with the unit. Cheers. Adrian and JillSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Ezytrail TN230 Tent only
I purchased the TN 230 Tent only via ebay, got a very good price for what was supposed to be one with some damage (2nds stock) ended up scoring a brand new tent with brand new pole design where by all poles apart from a few small C lip poles remain and fold with camper on bow end fittings.

nnex. My only main annoyance is the use of cheap nylon Bow end fittings, i broke two and you only get one replacement. spoke to ezytrail over the phone a few times, very helpful with chatting, i then purchased some stainless steel bow end fittings to affix so cannot break again. http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1260/9003/products/2514542264601_1_grande.jpeg?v=1461307022 This is due to the poles remaining and folding in with camper it puts pressure on this as you push the camper up / closed.Similar opinion? Written off in 12 months
We bought the Tarwin fully off road soft floor model 12 months ago. Similar to many other reviews, on the drive home the straps holding the cover down both broke. We also presumed the storage doors would be dust proof - they are not. Once we got it home and set up there was holes in the clear plastic on the wall. Our first trip we ending up with no water - thought the pump was faulty - they were great and sent us a replacement pump. But we next trip we had no water again! Finally discovered the water tank had not been welded correctly. We had...Read more
to take it off and have it rewelded. The 240v power outlet never works and our inverter once started smoking! They sent a replacement. The main cover zip is horrendous to zip back up each trip as some of the teeth have come out. Plus the clip on the zip pull snapped straight away. Multiple snapped clips and bent poles. When packing up from a trip in November (5 months ago) we lifted the side up to put stuff under the bed space, and the braket snapped and gas struts bent leaving the whole top of the trailer hanging off to one side, barely holding on by the other bracket. Thankfully we had 2 other families with us so all lifted, realigned it and used several ropes to hold in place. We drove home (300kms) at a snail pace and with every bump watched the top almost slide off on the road! They sent us new trailer brackets which we fixed ourselves and are still waiting on the gas struts...Our last trip we ended up with a flat tyre and to get the spare off you need to take out some electrical wiring that goes to the number plate! We planned to drive it 15 hours back to Canningvale last month to have everything fixed. On the way the wheel came flying off!! All of the wheel studs had completely sheered off the drum so the wheel went flying across the road! As ALL the studs were sheered off we could not plut the spare on. We had to call a tow truck and have it towed to the nearest town (300km) The trailer was empty and we were travelling on bitumen. I then phoned PMX/EZY Trail and explained the incident, to have the manager Les try to tell me he doesn't think it is a manufacturing issue as he "doesn't know where we have been" he also would not tell me what the warrantee covers and that it was "different which each sale". I told him I was sold an OFF ROAD CAMPER and the wheel just cant snap off by itself while travelling on straight bitumen. Its been less than a year and it nearly caught on fire, almost fell off on the road, faulty water tank, broken clips, poles, straps and zip, and now the wheel! Just been informed by our insurance company that the trailer is written off! There is too much damage done when the wheel come off. Cheap chinese materials! Expected more for $15k.2 comments
Hello Les you clearly do not recall our conversation very well as I am a SHE not a HE.

1) We had a wedding in Geraldton, our plan was to tow the trailer (completely empty FYI) to Geraldton and continue to Perth to drop it off on the Monday. If you look at a map you will see from Tom Price we need to travel to Nanuturra (294kms from TP), towards the North West Coastal HWY and follow that down to Geraldton. The trailer broke 5kms past Nanuturra. I phoned SGIO (our insurance) who organised a tow truck to the nearest repairer which was Exmouth (276kms from Nanuturra). There is no one in Tom Price who could do this repair plus at this stage we were closer to Exmouth than TP. 2) You told me on the phone you would not cover the cost to get it to Perth. After lengthy heated discussion you agreed to get a quote to put it on a truck or to have Exmouth repair it. I was not confident you would actually cover anything and at this point I had already involved SGIO and with our excess only $200 I felt safer dealing with them. 3)You are welcome to phone SGIO and ask them who the assessor was. It was towed to Exmouth Caravans and an SGIO independent assessor did the rest. We had a phone call to say the wheel coming off had also done major damage to the suspension and wheel drum - I guess that happens when the wheel drum smashes down and drags along a bitumen road at 100kms/hr. 4) Yes a few months earlier we had a flat tyre and put on the spare (and discovered your awful wiring placement) we had Tom Price Tyres and Mechanical replace and fit a new tyre and we put the original spare back on the back. Since the trailer was towed to Exmouth we have not seen it. SGIO paid out the loan amount so I believe it becomes their property. How could we possibly have sold that trailer? It was either left with Exmouth Caravans or SGIO. On another note we did have to have the water tank re welded (huge split in it when we first got the trailer) as per the request from Jarrod Maclean. We sent through the invoice for reimbursement but never received anything.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Quality of Ezytrail soft floor camper
bought the camper in Oct 2012. most pole clips were broken. Contacted Campberfield where it was purchased and they sent out a replacement pole. Wrong pole. Contacted them again and was told not to contact them they will contact me. That was nearly three years ago and still waiting.
The straps holding the cover down broke on the way home after picking up the trailer. There were no dust seals anywhere other than on the tool box. Electrical cables run through holes in the steel work which had no rubber gromets and there were no tie down points fo...Read more

Best Camper as a package
I bought a Mawson LX after reading all the reviews !!!.
Yes - went and had a look at the one I was going to buy "Set up". No surprises got a gist of all the quality issues and noted some little things but overall very impressed mainly because of the value of the whole package. Things that I knew I would fix/change included:- bedding/mattress, pole identification (coloured PVC tape), large slide out step to get up to the bed and just minor adjustments.
I knew that the blue brake wire is disconnected at the plug for safety reasons on del...Read more
ivery - easily sorted and "check the wheel bearing for grease and play" this is rule No.1 for anyone towing ANYTHING and not because some randoms' cousin twice removed said "sheil be rite". Impressive independent suspension and overall trailer design handles well on the road - bullet proof trailer. Like most campers I wanted to mold our needs to suit our camping priorities and for the money this is a great start. I am very handy so not really interested in after sales service as most of the little things are easily sorted. Pole C Clips are available on the net for $2.90 not worth down grading the whole camper for that but manufacturer should be on to it and send some out to dealers maybe! Our Coffs dealer was very helpful and also noted some very minor canvas issues that he said he would fix next time it was convenient. Showed us how to get it packed up and handy hints like silicone spray on the zips to extend their life - "watch for this and that" - a great help The only thing with soft floor campers is the bed accessed from the side so the person on the opposite side has to climb over the other - if you know each other well this can be a lot, and I mean a lot of "FUN" !!!!!! For us the Mawson LX has all the basic goodies at a great price.2 comments

Do not expect any support once they have the money
Lets face it there the cheap end of the scale so you could argue 'you get what you pay for', if you're prepared to go over and repair / modify the trailer yourself fine we had a lot of small nagging issues from rust on the stainless steel, water pump not working after 10 minutes . If not STAY WELL AWAY .BUT read on Picture this ;you have just hitched the trailer up and set off, you're 100 meters down the road there's a bang from behind, in the rear view mirror the trailers swaying all over the place obviously come away from the car . pull up in the middle of the road cars swerving all around you. The 4x4 coupling that bolts to the tow bar tongue has separated ( bolt simply came out with virtually no signs of welding ) bear in mind the was a 'replacement coupling' which turned up in the mail one day and the trailer front has dragged along the road wrecking the jockey wheel, hand brake lever and badly damaging all the wiring. I called them immediately to warn them of a potentially dangerous hitch... little interest !!!!!! then getting replacement parts started once again little interest . After calls and emails some replacement parts tuned up .... wrong hand brake assembly wrong jockey wheel . I note that the 'new 4x4 coupling is from Treg gold in colour they obviously have no faith in the original coupling which is grey. So in effect product out of 10 i give 2 after sales.1 comment

Value for money, reliable and good follow up service
We purchased a Tarwin LX in early 2014 as we were planning a trip from Melbourne to the West Coast to Darwin and back. We did a couple of trips to get used to the trailer and found it easy to tow, a bit difficult the first time to set up, but once up provided a great overall camp experience. When we left for our main trip, it was packed to the max, which was certainly helped by the big toolbox and overall storage space in the trailer box (although the battery did reduce the usable space. During the trip the only downside was a failing in the...Read more
brackets holding the water tank. This resulted in a cracked tank and loss of water. Contacted the Kilysth office (where we purchased the trailer) to advise of the situation and initially the response wasn't what one would expect, nor accept. However, follow up discussions resulted in a trip to the Perth office to have the tank repaired. Well, the service was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Not only did they repair the tank, they strengthened the brackets and bolting and then went over the trailer and rectified a number of minor, yet annoying issues. We were asked to take the trailer back to Kilsyth on our return to have it checked over and discuss any issues/improvements. Well, after a trip of over 18500kms AFTER Perth with no problems, all I can say is this is one very reliable unit. We did take it back to Kilsyth and the service could not be faulted, they not only serviced the trailer to ensure more trouble free trips, they relocated the battery to provide more internal storage space! After the initial issue with the water tank, I can't fault the trailer nor the response from EzyTrail.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Jon, I have a Stirling Z and the power does not have to be switched on to charge the batteries with a solar panel when connected through the Anderson plug. However if you want to see that the battery is charging you will need to turn on the power to read the voltmeter or you can measure current flow (amps) with a suitable clamp style meter.

rip either to or coming back from Exmouth to their home town of Tom Price. After a lengthy discussion on why the wheel might have come off I said to her it was too hard to determine as the trailer was far away. I explained to her we very rarely have issues with wheels and tyres so again it was difficult to determine the cause of problem. I advised them to get a quote to tow trailer Exmouth to have trailer repaired and get back to Tom Price. My explanation to Jay re warranty was that different trailers have different warranty times depending on the trailer. To this point I have had not had any further correspondence with the Creevys other than leaving a message on what was happening with the trailer. The only other correspondence was from there insurance company wanting information on the trailer and asking why the wheel might have come off.
