Hi - I am interested in enrolling in a double diploma course at FCC. Can anyone tell me if the Admin fee ($275) and individual unit fees ($265) are all inclusive in the total course fees or will these fees be extra after I enroll? Would like to know before I enroll.
Regards,
Kelly

Interested in current and past students experiences with the amount of time First Choice takes to respond to you and mark assessments? Someone made a comment in Oct 17 and didn't get a reply for 7 months!

Did 2 Diplomas with them and got absolutely all units marked within 2 weeks. Admin staff always replied within 24 hours.

Hi, I have been enrolled and studying a CERT IV. due to several professional and personal circumstances I have ha to request an extension as I have 1 unit remaining (3 modules) due and it is not possible to complete prior to the 6 month period. the email I received declined my request, First Choice is not taking anymore students for that training program. Are there any other ways to have this course extended as I don't want to fail the Cert IV?

Thanks Jason

Hi,
I purchased a Cert IV in Training and Assessment in December 2016. I haven't been in a position to start working on it until now and noticed in this Q&A section that you don't offer this course any more. Am I still able to complete the required modules as long as I am done by December 2017 - in line with the "12 months to complete" policy?

I ended up enquiring and they told me it had been brought back to end of September AND even if I had it done by then, I would still have to buy the new course to complete 2 extra modules but still pay the full price of the new one to attain the cert IV. Just accepted that I'd done my $'s.

Hi, yes it is accredited Australia wide. I found it on their website by clicking on the upside down triangle. It took me to their registration on the Government website.
Hope I helped

I want to do Cert IV in TAE. I would like to ask the management of this company what they have done to eradicate the bad and negative experiences that people have had. Hardly any RTO's come without a bad review but it is more important to know what has been done to avoid issues in the future.

Hi Fiona,

Thank you for your question and time in posting the comment. In the first instance, my team and I will try to identify who the student is and investigate the claims that have been made on review sites such as this one. We try our best to find solutions to any reported issues or negative experiences that have been reported. Due to confidentiality and privacy laws I cannot disclose any information about specific students however as part of our continuous effort to improve our services, we take on board all constructive feedback when reviewing our processes.

I understand that you are currently considering our TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course, please be aware that we offer this course as distance-based training and assessment. There is no face-to-face classroom training and the course is self-paced. Before enrolling, I highly recommend that you take the time to research other training providers and determine your preferred study mode because the construct of a distance-based course is very different to that of a classroom course.

I hope I have addressed your question. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards

Linda
