Hi Fisher and Paykel, can you tell me why my new OB60 oven take an hour to get to 200 deg and over and hour the fan runs to cool it down, this was not mentioned nor explained at time of purchase and I would not have purchased had it been. As this is clearly not energy efficient to do theses functions . Can you please advise what can be done to resolve this as it is not fit for purpose
My oven is doing the same thing on the Pizza Bake function, I’m waiting for the Appliance Technician who came out to get back to me with an appropriate response on how to fix it.

Does anyone who owns this oven use the Pizza Bake function? I'd like to know how long your oven takes to get to 200 degrees, mine is taking up to and over an hour.
Hi I have had the same issue with this oven, takes forever to heat up and then the cool fan runs for an hour and a half .....terrible, would not have purchased if I knew this ...
If it’s still under warranty contact Fisher and Paykel and get someone out to look at it, this is a fault I believe as no oven should take this long to heat up unless there is something wrong.
Consumer law says you can take the oven back to the place of purchase and get a full refund under "not fit for purpose" before the warranty runs out.
Still waiting FISHER AND PAYKEL REPRESENTIVES? I sent an Email via your website in regards to the above issues and no response yet. I should have read the reviews about your customer service on this website I would have saved $100s of dollars and purchased a better oven.

Read moreto the fact that we are no longer living in the 1960's? Consumers no longer have brand loyalty unless they have had 100% positive experience. There are also now much better channels of communication so it's not just a few friends or work colleagues who you can complain to. Forums such as this one give people the opportunity to share their experiences, good or bad, with thousands of fellow consumers. It was never about the $40 to buy a grill rack. It is about large companies still believing they can get away with stunts like F & P are pulling and expect no-one to complain. Regards
Why does this oven come with no Grill Rack and Grid? Why are ants able to get into this oven? It mustn’t seal properly, my Pavlova had ants eating it, from my understanding they shouldn’t be able to get in to it? No other oven I’ve owned has ever had ants being able to get inside.
