It's good but....
The fridge is good and does what's it's supposed to do but I do wish there was more space. Paying so much I would have liked to see more space and it not to be so loud. At the bottom it does give off some heat which I don't know why it does that!

Waste of money, appalling customer service
Our $3000 fridge is not quite 8 years old and the door is broken (beeps continuously - common problem we are told). We first contacted Fisher and Paykel over 40 days ago about this problem. Despite F & P boasting '24/7 Customer Service' we have not been able to get this fixed. It can't be repaired, we were told we needed a new door, then we were told they no longer made doors for this fridge. No one returns our calls or emails. I was told by F & P 'they just don't make things the way they used to!'. Unbelievable! An expensive piece of junk and no customer service. Would never buy F & P again.

A Fantastic big fridge for a family and easy compartments to place your favorite food in
Keeps fresh for weeks and easy to keep clean as each compartments come out easy to wipe remove food particles
Would recommend as its very quiet also to run and has a 4 star energy rating!

Bad Service for a faulty product sold
I purchased the French door fridge a few years ago. I have had several issues with it!!!! Firstly the stainless steel on the door was sucked in causing bumps on the doors - a new door was installed however the handle is lower than the other door - reason for this is that I was told is because it is the doors for a newer model!!! The reason why it happened is because the components in the doors cause a suction resulting in the stainless steel being sucked in. ed it is normal - today the crack has grown considerably and have been advised it cannot be repaired and of course cannot be replaced because the warranty has now expired and the only option is to purchase a new fridge at a discounted price - the discount offered from F&P is competitive with other brands. I am better off purchasing this fridge from a NQR store at a fraction of the cost as it currently looks like it has been purchased from a NQR store as the door handles dont even align!!! Great addition to the family
We have had this fridge for 6 months and just love the flexibility of the doors and the water dispenser without the need to open the doors. The freezer drawer gives excellent access and its design helps us keep everything organised. Would recommend it to any large family. Its our second F&P fridge the last one ran well for 20yrs and served us well.

beware of faulty doors
Bought this fridge when they were advertised on TV it was great to start with but then the plastic hinges on the door broke. This happened every year and I was sick of the situation. When the warranty was up the people at the extended warranty said it was not covered. In 6 years it has happened 5 times. It has just happened again. I don't have small children. Don't buy this product!

Purchased our F/P French Door Fridge/Freezer in 2007. Now display / temp adjustment panel is on the exterior of RH door. We seem to have alarms going off at different times with different pitches, its becoming quiet annoying. All the instruction manuals talk about the internal control panel to which we aint got. does anyone have an idea how to reset the panel?

Unfortuneately it is probably out of warranty and so I suggest calling F & P customer service to see if they can answer you question.
