This machine was recommended by CHOICE magazine. I had it for 3 years and I hate it. I have spent so much money on pre-wash sprays/rinse/liquid/soaks etc and after I have dried to clothes then I have to spend lots of time brushing clothes to get all the link off. I will NEVER EVER buy F&P product ever again. I have to purchase another washing machine because I'm am tired of clothes coming out of machine dirtier then before they went in.

Excellent
An excellent washing machine.
I seem to have spent an excessive proportion of my married life repairing washing machines. I wonder whether my wife has something about them ( I keep being reminded of a Mary Leunig cartoon of a woman with an extremely silly (?!) grin, sitting upon an out of balance machine, stopping it from taking off across the laundry ) but they keep breaking down. I think we have had about 8 machines, either owned or rented in 15 years of marrriage. The failures seem to centre upon belt drives and control mechanisms.

It's just a washing machine. I don't use many of the features except wash advance and time delay. My old Hoover served the purpose just as well. The reason I bought a new machine was that lint was becoming a problem but I still need to be careful with this machine so I am not much better off.
It senses the correct level of water for the amount of clothing. Also senses the type of wash needed like active or gentle.
If you put too many clothes in lint can become a problem. I think that the fast spin speed doesn't allow the lint to be flushed out and it shows on clothes partiularly colors. The clothes also have lots of creases due to the fast spin speed and this makes ironing a bit more difficult.

I have been pretty happy with it, does the job ok. Not an outstanding machine but one that does the basic job.
A nice looking machine, easy to use, soak feature has been very handy.
Find I need to sometimes add more water then it automatically lets it fill too, seems not enough water for the size of the load.

I am happy with the machine overall. I am happy with the wash it does and the spin dry out. I am happy with the capacity it takes. I just get disappointed when the machine breaks down but then again when I use it twice a day I suppose it has to have wear and tear and I think we often forget this when we do have to pay someone to fix it.
I like that it spins so much that it is nearly dry when I bring it out of the machine. Also I like the fact that I have choices for different washes like Allergies as my son has one.

As far as I know, these machines do not have a "favourite" feature.

IW812 had Fault code 37 and in a Diagnostic mode the Pump was not pumping out, changed the diverter valve, now it pumps out in the diagnostic mode but in normal operation, it seems stuck in the recirculating mode and won't drain. I have checked the Pump and the drain hose all good. Any ideas?
