Waste of money.
Avoid at all costs. Waste of money and time. After buying one that wouldnt work we got a replacement that also wouldnt work, the customer service was also extremely poor.

Cheap replacement for rental
We are tenants and the old Westinghouse packed it in and the owners replaced it with one of these. Easy to install as we had to do it ourselves. Ok range of cycles however my pet hate is the lock button that locks the control button doesn't lock the on/off button which i feel defeats the point as my 16 month old loves to turn it off half way through a cycle and then that's it, you have to start again.

New GLEM GDW25SS dishwasher
My old dishwasher packed it up a few months ago and have been contemplating buying a new one.have been hand washing for a while and today I decided to go buy a new machine.as I live alone ( no I'm not lonely) I didn't want to pay a massive price for one as I will prob only use once or twice a week .so I went to harvey norms and was looking at another machine which the salesman steered me away from as he showed me that the door was flimsy.took me over to have a look at the glem machine and went through a few bits.it has a water rating of 10.8 bu...Read more
t in manual it's lowest is 11 litres.it looks nice and also has a half load option .looked like it did what the others do so for a little extra ($11) I bought it.brought home and connected up.placed dishes in and did a quick load .30 min later I was impressed how clean my dishes are.i had a few things I wanted to clean so I did another load on the normal cycle which is 90 min and they came out clean and dry.as it's a new machine I will be adding another update in a week or 2 and see how it goes .but ATM I like the look and functions and at $529 less the $30 cash back card I think Iv done alright.4 comments

CO wash so on the label showing 10.8 litres we were being conservative.Hi simone.all good.its better being 200 mls out than 2 lts.hehe.but so far so good.will write an update in a few weeks.thanks
Well I have had this unit for a while now and I can say that I have had no problems what so ever with this unit.cleans beautifully.just goes to show that you dont need to buy the top end products to get a top end product.

What do I have to do to get the 90min to stop flashing and get the machine to actually wash something? Ours Glem was a replacement from our Real Estate, their plumber installed it and all we get is the flashing.

This might be a bit late for Jenny but it might help someone in the future.
The 90 minute flashing light is activated by a float switch on the bottom panel of your washing machine when water accumulates in that lower cavity either by a leak or an overflow. It happened to me because the filter/strainer was clogged which caused an overflow. I removed the water from the bottom cavity which cleared the fault.

Door latch does not close, nothing appears to be broken. Former house owner bought it a week before handover in September, so it’s relatively new.
