Product never received
It appears this company is a scam, they will not return phone calls or emails, and will not ship the product paid for. DO NOT buy through this company, might be ok priced but not when you do not receive what you pay for.

Do not order from this company
This company is not a reputable company. Stay away! You make an order, they take your money, have a long 'delay' and hope you can't be bothered following up so they don't have to deliver. We ordered through them and they told us there was a delay and items would be posted soon. That was over 2 months ago and still nothing. No responses to emails or phone call (only external receptionist). This company is a joke.
Where are my lights? Waiting for 11 months! This company is a scam.
I have been waiting for my lights for 11 months, always to be told that they will arrive soon. However in the last 4 months Golights have ignored my emails. The only phone number diverts you to a 3rd party call centre, who apparently send your concerns to Golights, who never get back to you. This company is a complete scam and I am now reporting Golights to NSW Fair Trading.

If there was a zero star that's what I would rate them
Stay away from this company, a complete scam, fake, con artists. I wish I had have read this forum before ordering. They will take your money and then you'll never hear from them again. I ordered my lights, which they stated would be delivered in 5 business days, two weeks later, nothing, sent emails, left messages on their call answering service, nothing, another two weeks later i raised a dispute through paypal, they still didn't response. I escalated my issue through paypal as they have the authority to refund, and presto! I got an email today, a month after ordering and paying that my items have been shipped, now lets see if they arrive or is this the next part of their scam???

This is obviously a SCAM, smartly done... they must be raking it in.
We ordered lights in April.... 8 weeks ago. We are building a house and waiting on these lights. Aside from that, they have our cash, and they are not getting back to us via email when we have demanded a refund... When i call i get a 'outsourced admin' person. I have left a message with the 'escalation service' with no response. It is all so clever in that they have set up the perfect SCAM. Dont be fooled in falling for the well designed webpage and australian supplier etc.... I'm pretty sure this place doesnt exist and that they are racking in all our cash. So well played GOLights

Non cooperation
Placed a large order 3 months ago. Still hasn't come
One email two months after order was placed apologising for delay and promising quick delivery.
No go, no show. Rung numerous times with no result. Don't deal with this company!
SCAM SITE!
Placed order more than 3 weeks ago. Zero contact. Zero products received. They do not respond to emails, and refuse to look up the order by phone. Complete and utter scam. AVOID!

Oders two weeks ago. It Two weeks to arrive . Very happy with the order. It's exactly what I ordered. A satisfied customer. It's a pleasure doing business with this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I wish I checked Product review prior to buying a light pack with them - more than 2 months later and no communication or delivery. All you can do is call a generic outsourced office line that apparently 'escalates' a query to no response. Horrendous!

5 weeks, still no lights
Wow I wish I had read the other reviews before shopping with this company. I placed an order 5 weeks ago, and I still have not received the 2 table lamps I ordered. I never received a dispatch notification. Fortunately I paid with paypal, and given the other experiences described here I have decided to just pursue a refund through paypal rather than keep trying to follow up my order with emails and phone calls. So frustrating. Will definitely avoid this retailer from now on.
Update: after opening a PayPal dispute, the seller told me my order would be dispatched the next day. I finally received my order a week later.
Order placed February 2018, still waiting.
We placed an order for 4 lights in February 2018. Since ordering we have completed a major reno (minus lights) and conceived and nearly had our first child. One item arrived quickly, the next took 8 months, the last 2 don't exist. Unbelievable, shifting deadlines and just lies. My favourite part was the really condescending way I was spoken to by a representative on the 1 year anniversary of our order. My other highlight was the last communication I had with them which was ironically at 11.50am on April Fool's Day. Worst experience ever and now unresponsive, don't be fooled. They got 1 star because zero is not an option.

Do not use this company!!!!
Ordered three pendant lights in March. Followed up with them in early May. Received an email from their warehouse saying they had system problems and that my order would be send on 14th May. I have received nothing. I have emailed several times with no response. I have called several times and speak with reception service that makes excuses like the phones are down or no one is available right now. As far as I am concerned they have stolen my money and given me nothing but grief for it. Fortunately I paid by Paypal so I might have some recourse but this will take time. Pure dishonesty from this company!!!! My advice is to shop somewhere else!!

I wish I had read these reviews before making the mistake of buying from this dodgy company. My story is the same as all the others. I purchased and paid for a desk lamp over seven weeks ago in early April and despite repeated emails and calls to the external answering service, nothing has arrived and no reply has been forthcoming from the company. Next step, a formal complaint to the ACCC

Terrible customer service
Terrible service. Have just received my order after going through the same as every other customer who wrote a review. My order was placed on 03/03/2019!! Then was despatched with Fastway!!! Another delay of over 2 weeks!! I will never order from this company again even tho I am quite happy with their product.
no order received not contactable
A single table lamp ordered delivery to be within 6 days according to site but no delivery 17 days later and after 4 emails 2 phone calls asking for progress I was only to speak to an outside reception center which told me that golights .com have their phone lines down this time for a week, after the previous call the previous week I was told she would forward my number to the golights despatch department and they would call me back but nothing, she also said everyone was sent an email last week that had an order issue and that most people received it I didnt ?she said leave a complaint on the complaint line which she switched me to I still spoke to no one, you make up your mind about this treatment to a paying customer.
The WORST Customer Service company EVER
Ordered some Lights on the 16th April and they said delivery would be in 6 Business days, That was 24 Business days ago!,
I sent an email asking for an update, they sent me this-

Zero star is more appropriate
Kept calling customer service and they cannot give you any sort of information about your order. Week after week, they get your name and number saying someone will be in contact with you. No update. No status. No delivery. No refund. NOTHING. You guys should shut down. Such a disgrace.
TERRIBLE Customer Service - Go Elsewhere
Have yet to receive my ordered lampshade. After several emails and phone messages (which only go to a messaging service, not to a company representative), I still have not been contacted by anyone from GoLights to give me any information on my order. All I want to do is cancel my order and receive a refund, at this point. Do not use this company.
Two orders - yet to receive any lights!
I placed one order in November 2018 and another in April 2022
The first order they weren’t able to fill as they didn’t have stock. It took them weeks to tell me.
The order in April 2022 never came, we checked the building site 3 weeks later. They advised it was coming late - when it was already late. Said it was being dispatched ok Tuesday and it’s now Friday and no-one knows where it is
We called 6 times this week, no-one called us back until we finally asked for a refund

Take you money but don't supply the product
Ordered a fan in February & received confirmation saying 'Your order will be shipped within 7 working days'. After numerous delays & many emails they said they would refund the purchase price but instead only gave me a credit note. Luckily I had paid with PayPal so I lodged a claim and after a couple of weeks the full amount was credited back to me.

Complete lack of customer service,
This company has absolutely appalling customer service.
They hide behind an external reception company who passes messages onto the company.
Placed the order on the 9th of April 2022, I emailed on the 16th of April to ask for a Con note so I could track the item as I hadn’t heard anything in a week, on the 17h of April I received a the following email
Thank you for reaching out to us and sorry for the delay.
Unfortunately we are experiencing a large delay. Due to this we are yet to receive your goods. We are expecting them to arrive later ne...
Disgraceful
I wish I had seen these reviews before ordering. I have left several urgent messages and sent several emails. Absolutely no acknowledgement of either. You cannot talk to any staff. They use a reception service. What are they hiding from? One star is way too good for them. If the order cannot be fulfilled in a timely manner they should let you know so you can purchase elsewhere.

Terrible, terrible service!
I wish I could leave 0 star rating. Placed and paid for an order 2 months ago, I have yet to receive it. This company hasnt replied to any of my emails or returned my calls.
Don't buy from this company!
I placed and paid for my order in February. They never sent it. When I finally noticed that they had never sent it they said they would send by beginning of April, they didn't send it and now they are not even answering any calls. They just have an answering service to take messages! Stay away.
This company is a scam
Ordered lights in 1/4. Credit card charged. Confirmation received with dispatch within 6 days. 4 weeks later - no lights, no dispatch, will not respond to emails, phonecalls or request for refund. Immediately after purchase my card was hacked. Coincidence? I think not. Unfortunately I told the bank the lights were a legitimate purchase. Do not deal with this company. They are scam artists.
