Needed a new phone in a hurry got it with my go card.
I used my card local, it was fast and stress free. In this day and age of stress and having no time, the go card made it quick and easy, to get my much needed new phone.

Terrible help line
In the process of try to purchase a TV from Harvey Norman we struggled to process my card
After repeatedly sending pictures of my drives license and numerous phone calls we were able to resolve the issue
So 2.5hrs later the transaction was finally processed
Not that impressed with the process

This card has lots of fees
I have been a go mastercard owner for 12 years now. I have basically only ever used it for interest free purchases and on the odd occasion used it for odd purchases. They charge $30 if u dont pay the minimum payment on time. They charge 5.95 a month for having the account and they charge $0.95 everytime you make a payment. Other cards dont do this. I use to get paper statements now it's all online and I pay more fees now than I did getting paper statements. Makes no sense. I pay no annual fee but the other fees clearly make up for it. They wont...Read more
tell u if a purchase is overdue or if a payment is overdue it just gets added quietly to your account without your knowledge adding interest. It has been very handy to have the interest free card I have bought all my electronics and furniture on it for the last 12 years but the customer service is horrible. Why wouldnt they inform you before an interest free period is about to finish or if a payment is due? Statements dont get emailed either u have to look in your account. If they were more verbal and communication was better with its customers I would give a better review but my view on them is they want you to make late payment and they want your interest free period to run out so they get interest.- Special Purchases

Horrible finance company that threatened to ruin my credit rating over $160.00
I made a BPAY payment into my go MasterCard account on the 22nd of December, to cover the payment that was due on the 27th of December. Unfortunately, this payment amount ended up in a previous Mastercard account, that was meant to have been closed, on the 16th of July 2016. For reasons known only to Latitude they accepted this payment amount ($275.00) into a supposedly closed account, that had not been used for almost five years? (Go figure?) Then come the 6th of January, I get a very nasty sms message from Latitude finance stating that I am i...Read more
n arrears for $160.00 due to non payment. I ring straight away and get through to "A" who after 45 minutes on the phone, says he will fix the issue and place the amount into the correct account, but that it is now most likely I will have a credit default on my credit report, because I have failed to make a payment on time? "A" tells me this is because there is a new credit reporting system in place, where all late payments automatically end up as instant defaults on your credit file? (Funnily enough, when I rang my bank, they had no idea what he was talking about and stated that, they are unaware of this new system of reporting credit defaults?) Regardless, just to be sure, I go into my online account and pay the outstanding amount plus a bit extra, so I am no longer in arrears. Well as it turns out, it is a good thing i did this, because three weeks later, and the money placed into the wrong account, has still NOT been transferred to the correct account. On top of this, when I contact Latitude/Go Mastercard, they have no idea what i am talking about and no notes on the system from "A." I also have to ring back Go Mastercard twice because it appears that nobody there is able to organise a funds transfer from one account to the other. Finally I get someone who states that they will do this for me, but it may take anywhere from seven to twelve days to complete the transfer!!!!! So the amount won't go onto this this months statement. Needless to say i am furious. Firstly because the amount that I paid via BPAY should never have been accepted into a closed account? (My bank cannot understand how a supposedly closed account, that has not been used for almost five years, accepted any funds to begin with) that it took Latitude finance 16 days to contact me in regards the arrears, and that Latitude (has allegedly) defaulted my credit rating over an amount of $160.00 (I still need to organise an updated credit rating file reading to check this) Latitude finance, you are an absolute disgrace and this is not acceptable practice!!!! I have contacted the Financial Industry Complaints authority in regards this matter and am waiting to hear back from them.- Special Purchases

LATE Fees
I was suppose to pay monthly minimum amount of $79.68 however, I have set up $100 direct debit from my CBA account. They charged me $30 late fees for 12 months. Due to some mismatch direct debit date changed in my financial institute and that why money was credited in Go Master couple of days late however, it was always on a monthly basis $100 instead of $79 but they disregard loyalty of customer and keep charging me $30 for consecutive 12 Months......Unreal....Any financial institute if solution is not in favour of customer they suppose to let me know however they dont care as they are charging you LATE FEES.....Really terrible institute....will never advise anyone for this mob...

Beware of fees!!!
Even after fully paying of our purchase...they keep racking up the fees. statements are misleading. I have lodged complaint with Australian Financial Complaints Authority. Very deceptive practices and if you are financially illiterate...you could easily face some big bills.

Always Check Your Statement
A disappointing half an hour on the phone . It appears 3 years ago I set the payment date 2 days late. I opted for emailed statements which were not statements but a link to the website login . My fault as I couldn’t remember my password. Tried to reset it online but you need to know your credit limit which of course is on your online statement, which you can’t log in too . So for three years they have been taking a late payment fee of $30 and another $1.30 odd of extra fees. To my reckoning they have had $1136 fees for which they offered me $60 . Needless to say I have closed my account with Latitude Go Mastercard, imagine the surprise when the supervisor asked me for an extra 95c because I cleared the account by Bpay .z

Very easy to use
I bought a new lounge at A Mart using my existing Go MasterCard - was offered several interest free periods. Very easy and I can pay it off at my leisure. I always make my payments a bit early to maintain my good credit rating and to avoid late charges, so this way it is a good product.

Great to get interest free
When I tried to apply, the gentleman on the phone could not get my details from previous purchases. So, after a 40 min wait... he hung up.
We decided just to reapply.

How o you do a money transfer please
1 answer
I would ring the customer service number which is 1300 462 273. The consultant was very helpful when I called. I explained that I wanted to pay the outstanding balance and cancel my Go Card. I provided my debit card details over the phone to permit the transfer of funds. They waived the establishment fee.

If and when I pay off my interest free purchases, will i still get charged those pesky monthly fees?
3 answers
I would check with them and once you have paid it off get rid of it.
Yeah will do, not sure about getting rid of it just yet, we will be doing a few more interest free purchases after the TVs been paid off...Then yeah will more than likely get rid of it...
I paid mine off & was actually in Credit ($35.41) & wasn't charged any fees. As a renting pensioner without assets it's the easiest way for me to purchase expensive items. Interest is high but if items bough on interest-free period it helps heaps.
