TigerShark Mistake
TigerShark QCShared the pool size, shape, surface and surrounding plants with the pool shop and purchased the TigerShark QC at their recommendation; Pool and Spa Warehouse (Penrith), yes, I was stupid.
Initially covered the majority of the pool surface to about 90% so was happy with the coverage. The performance on the floor and the walls was good BUT it did not last too long before the cleaner cleaned the same half of the poor and would only do the shallow half partly a couple of times in either cycle. Spoke to the shop and they said it was the "pool shap
Breaks down and very expensive to repair
TigerSharkCleans pool ok but didn't like shallow end. Broke down a lot over it's 6 year life and became uneconomic to repair. Cable twisted and power unit stopped working. One wheel broke and track had to be replaced twice

I have tried 4 different Hayward units and they just don't work
TigerSharkI have spent two years and have had the rep out to personally look at what was going on. Have swapped it out 3 times to try other Hayward cleaners and while the Tiger Shark was the best they had I have decided to replace it has it only seems to want to clean the deep end of the pool and never comes up to the shallow end. Under powered and can barley climb the walls with a fresh filter, after 5 minutes stops climbing the walls.

TigerShark QCI was recommended the Hayward Tiger Shark QC 5 micron by The Pool and Spa Warehouse . Disgusted in the customer service from the Pool and Spa Warehouse they told me if I lived in Sydney they can help me but because I live in Melbourne they can’t help me. I wish they had of told me this when I purchased the Shark for $1700 and they delivered it to Melbourne. They also told me Hayward were hopeless so no point going to them.!! Stay clear of the Tiger Shark and the Pool and Spa Warehouse

Do not buy Hayward products
TigerShark QCThe power supply unit died on its third birthday. (20 days outside of warranty).
Unable to repair, the purchase of new power unit at a cost of $750 was the suggestion.
My first pool cleaner lasted approx 15 years and its replacement about 10 years.
Hayward Tiger Shark ($1690) was highly recommended by pool shop owner barely made it to 3 summers.
Amortised over the usefull life, Hayward products just don't stack up and people should steer clear of them.
Absolutely Useless
TigerShark QCWorked poorly, didn’t clean as well suction cleaner that it replaced and electrical failure a month outside warranty. No backup and no support very frustrating. I gave up. Don’t touch this product.

TigerShark QCI had the aquavac 500 and was extremely happy with it until something went wrong 18 month later (to bad because it was an excellent robot). They told me they had a lot of issues with it so they gave me the TigerShark Qc and like bloody fool I accepted the offer and "Oh, boy! " what a peace a JUNK. I will never spend one dollar with HAYWARD again but I guess the Joke is on me.

TigerShark QCI bought the machine from Pool and Spa Warehouse 4 days ago. The salesperson recommended it is an excellent robotic cleaner. I paid $1699.00 for it. However, it was dead when opening the box. The power supplies does not work.
Took it back to the seller, the man told me that many people complained about the power supplies but he cannot exchange. I will be sent for repair. I I was told there is a problem with power supplies I would not buy it.
This is a brand new cleaner that did not work even one second and I could not exchange. I am really disappointed at the sale and service. I do not have any confidence in Hayward machine.
Waste of money
TigerShark QCI purchased this 2.5 years ago, loved it came with a 3 year warranty. After 6 months it died, it was repaired. It worked once, it died. I took it back and was told dont leave it in the pool too long, so it was repaired and I used it once and it died again. This time I was told dont leave it out of the pool or in the sun too long. I used it once and it died AGAIN. Its still within its warranty but Im probably better off throwing it away. If you can afford to buy one every 6 months then its epic, but after its failed it will never be the same. The blue filters are a good investment too.

Performance is OK, very poor durability
TigerShark QCSorry Hayward, the product doesn't match up to your marketing. The machine has broken just after 3 years of well-maintained use (requires a new motor). Repair cost exceeds $1200, and the response from Hayward is a polite 'tough luck'. Sold as a high-end robot, the durability is anything but. My recommendation is to steer clear and buy according to reliability.

TigerShark QCTerrible product, spends more time climbing walls than picking up debris from bottom and ledge area. Machine has broken protective coverings over pool filter inlets. All in all a waste of money that has not made pool maintenance any easier, and as well as damaging pool, the cleaning job is inferior.

TigerShark QCIt took 20 minutes for the TigerShark QC to get stuck on one of my two drains the first time. I then took it out of the pool, and added the plastic "increased suction" piece to the bottom of the unit which the manual advises may help with this problem.
In the middle of the very first cleaning cycle after that, it got stuck on a drain again, and was spinning in circles on the drain. Each time it spun around, the cable became more tangled. I can only imagine how destroyed the cable would have been if I had not been there to turn the unit off.
I packed it up and returned it. Useless piece of garbage.
